THE BOOK OF WARS -- Numbers 21:14

"Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, what he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon . . . "

There are several different books mentioned in the Bible: the book of remembrance, the book of tears, the book of martyrs, and the book of wars.

This book of wars is a book not yet finished; therefore, we have the opportunity to help write chapters within it, as we wage war ushering in the Kingdom of Light.

Battles always precede the advancement of new beginnings and new levels.

The church in metamorphosis is like a beautiful butterfly coming from the chrysalis -- emerging from the hiding place of darkness, coming forth into the brilliant beauty of His great presence.

• True spiritual warfare is centered on the placement of the Son.

WHY DOES SATAN OPPOSE YOU?

The devil opposes you because you are the pleasure of God (Revelation 4:11).


WHAT ARE SATAN'S FAVORITE WEAPONS?

1. Delay: Weaken your desire to keep you from reaching to God. It's like coming under the fog of fatigue and losing your way.

2. Deceit: Satan is the master of deception and seduction, sowing principles of the spirit but making them into legalism.
   ?
3. Distraction: Broken focus (Proverbs 4:27). Our times of greatest intimacy can be our highest times of spiritual warfare.
   ?
4. Disappointment: from others, self, church, God, etc. The enemy attempts to magnify the weakness of others to offend and embitter. Those closest to you have the potential to wound you the most.

WHEN DOES THE ENEMY SEEM TO HIT THE HARDEST?

Eight Specific Times of Spiritual Attacks

1. Physical exhaustion.
   ?
2. Major changes especially in geographic relocation. Crisis occurs on the eve of change.
   ?
3. The birth of a child destined for prophetic greatness. (Matthew 2:13)
   ?
4. A murderous scheme to attack a prophetic generation:
   
   ?- Moses with Pharaoh
   ?- Jesus with Herod
   ?- This generation with abortion
   ?
5. When a specific miracle has just left the hand of God toward you.
   ?
6. When you take a stand. The degree of intensity in spiritual warfare is often proportional to the plan that you possess.
   ?
7. When you are next in line for promotion.
   ?
8. Cyclic seasons -- Satan came to Jesus seeking to entice and enslave him, but left for a more opportune time.
