"This Is a Wake-Up Call"

The other morning, I was awakened by the sound of a phone ringing loudly. It took me a few moments to realize that the sound was not coming from an actual phone. I heard it in the spirit realm. Though it was only one ring, I knew it wasn't my phone. I got up and checked the time on my cable box clock, and it was 7:57 a.m., but when I looked at my clock, it said 7:56 a.m., so I figured that the cable clock had the accurate time.

It's always exciting to have a dream or a spiritual occurrence from God. I sensed peace, so I didn't feel that this was an urgent warning of imminent danger, but I knew that the Holy Spirit was trying to convey a message or get my attention about something. When I took prophetic courses, I learned that dreams, visions, signs and wonders were important ways through which the Holy Spirit communicated with Believers as well as unbelievers throughout the Bible and even today.

I learned how some dreams are symbolic, and some are literal. I was taught that if we had a dream about a specific number to also look up the meaning of that number, or a Scripture that coincides with it, for deeper insight or revelation. Even though this wasn't an actual dream, the first thing I did was go to the Word of God to try to find the interpretation. I knew that those numbers were significant, whether they spoke of a time or referred to something else.

The first Scripture I looked up was Psalm 75:6-7 in The Passion Translation:

"This I know: the favor that brings promotion and power doesn't come from anywhere on Earth, for no one exalts a person but God, the true Judge of all. He alone determines where favor rests. He anoints one for greatness and brings another down to his knees." (Photo via Pexels)

A Wake-Up Call for Our Country and the Body of Christ

Was the Holy Spirit trying to show me something on a global level? Was this a wake-up call for our country, specifically for the Body of Christ, or personally for me? I believe it may have been pertaining to all of the above. (A couple of friends suggested that the numbers may represent President Trump's 757 airplane.) One thing that is clear is that God is trying to get our attention. I believe that He wants to speak to all of us in various ways, beyond our natural means.

The other morning, I was thinking about this supernatural occurrence. I sensed in my heart that the ringing sound of the alarm represented a wake-up call for all of us.

Pray for Peace in Jerusalem – We War Not Against Flesh and Blood

The Holy Spirit began showing me how people were turning on their TVs and flipping through the channels, going from one news broadcast to another. What they were hearing was alarming and caused great fear, anger and confusion. Their minds were filled with questions as they watched the conflict and devastation caused by the war in Israel.

I don't believe that we should ignore or be ignorant of what is happening in the world, but instead we need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem—for the Jew, Gentile, and all those who are innocent—and that justice would be brought to the evil doers. We are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (see Ephesians 6:12).

Tune Into My Good News!

As I began to pray in the Spirit, I heard the Lord say, "No matter what happens in the natural, My good news shall soon be broadcast in the land, and My salvation shall be proclaimed among the nations. I am calling My people to tune in to the good news and watch what I am about to do in the land of the living." This is a wakeup call to righteousness.

This is a wakeup call to holiness.

Then He showed me multitudes of Believers carrying cases of water to the people. He said, "I am calling My people to deliver My living water to a dry and thirsty land. I am calling them to find their tribe and stand together in faith. I am about to release My glory and bring a revival that will shake the nations. Yes, darkness will cover the earth, but out of the turmoil will come My glory. This is a day for a holy visitation.

"So tune into the frequencies of Heaven. Gather the troops, and take up your stones. It's time to take down Goliath. It's time to silence the voice of Jezebel. Haman will be hung on his own gallows. Pay no attention to the ungodly things that vie for your attention. It's time for the seers to see, and the prophets to speak. What I promised for these end times will come to pass, regardless to what you see in the natural," says the Lord. (Photo via Wikipedia)

Isaiah 60:1-3: "Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising."

Habakkuk 2:1: "I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected."

Revelation 3:18: "...anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see."
