The Instruction
Two weeks ago, as I was exiting my prayer room after a time of devotion with the Lord, the Holy Spirit spoke to me, "Pray against the 'Separatist Movement.'" This instruction was spoken to me in a strong and clear tone from the Lord. It gave the indication that this was a matter of grave importance. I shared with my wife, "God told me to pray against the 'Separatist Movement,' but I'm not sure what that exactly means."
What Is the Separatist Movement?
What is the Separatist Movement? That was the first question that I asked myself. My mind instantly thought that God was speaking about certain organizations or political institutions that desired their respective state(s) to pull away from the United States of America.
I quickly grabbed my phone and searched for the phrase "Separatist Movement." Encyclopedia Britannica gives this definition for the word "separatist": "Separatist, also called Independent, any of the English Protestants in the 16th and 17th centuries who wished to separate from the perceived corruption of the Church of England and form independent local churches."
I was already aware that many of these separatists were Pilgrims that had settled in New England during America's formative years, and in Holland. Ultimately, this particular separatist movement was a good thing, winning the people back their freedoms and right to worship God outside the control of the Church of England. However, as I searched further, I discovered that there are separatist movements worldwide, with some being quite violent in nature. These movements have definite agendas and goals that are easy to observe and discern. But I would soon learn that when God spoke to me about the "Separatist Movement," He was referring to something in the spirit realm that was only discernible by the Holy Spirit.
The Wicked Council Meeting
The next time that I entered into prayer, as I opened my mouth to say the words "Father, I bind up the Separatist Movement and decree its plans will not prevail," immediately God gave me a vision. I saw a vision of six demonic entities sitting around what I would describe as an irregularly built boardroom table. I knew by the Spirit that these entities were principalities and powers collaborating together to oppose the will of God in America.
In the vision, I was only permitted to see three of the demonic powers, but I knew that there were six in total seated at the table. From my vantage point, I could only see the three whose backs were not facing me. There was one with a huge, dark, black, muscular body and glowing eyes, which I easily discerned as one of the Baal spirits from the ancient Middle East. The second one was more androgynous in appearance; I discerned it to be one of the Ashtaroth. And the third looked like a plump, fat man with a wicked, demonic grin. I sensed that this latter spirit was not a principality but a power that dealt with finances and economics. Over all six, I saw the words "The Separatists"—a demonic council of principalities and powers working against America.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12)
As I began to war against these demonic powers' wicked agendas that they were planning against America, the Lord began to download into my spirit their strategies and goals for the downfall of America and to remove it from its lampstand.
In times past, we have often looked at the plots of the enemy as separate issues to be addressed, such as racism, abortion, human-trafficking, etc. However, in this season, the demonic powers are working together more than ever to create an opening for woe through five major agendas, under the banner of one demonic, strategic campaign—what God called "The Separatist Movement."
The Same Strategy as Balaam
In the Old Testament, we encounter Balaam, who was a diviner of unusual spiritual prowess and power. He was hired for his services by King Balak to curse the children of Israel. "Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the Lord in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the Lord." (Numbers 31:16)
Israel was covered by God, but immorality separated them from their hedge of protection. A plague fell upon the people due to this error. I saw that this council of demonic separatists desired to bring these types of breaches upon America, using a similar principle that Balaam had used. Below are their five wicked agendas:
Wicked Agenda #1 – To Tear Down Foundational Values and Morality in America
The first agenda of this evil cohort was to SEPARATE America from its traditional and foundational values. Although no nation, including America, is perfect, our foundation was built on Judeo-Christian principles and values. This moral and religious system has allowed America to grow into a world superpower, an economic powerhouse, a beacon of democracy, and the main exporter of the Gospel. For more than a hundred years, America has been the main missionary-sending nation, and has given billions of dollars of humanitarian aid to less fortunate nations.
I saw that two of the main ways in which the enemy would try to tear down the foundational values and morality of this nation would be through the passing of ungodly legislation and perverse media. The media will start to side with perversion and corrupt morality more and more over time. Both the immoral laws and the media will serve in making people less sensitive to the Word and Spirit of God.
"Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20)
A departure and SEPARATION from the nation's foundational principles and purposes creates a spiritual breach that allows more wicked and ancient demonic powers to inhabit the land. Also, it creates a window for national misfortune.
In this hour, I believe God is not only raising up prophetic voices who will be revivalists, releasing the fire of God, but He is also raising up APOSTOLIC REFORMERS who will call America to repentance, to return back to its first love, God, and its original intent and purpose as a safe haven and beacon of light for the Gospel and liberty.
"If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Psalm 11:3)
Wicked Agenda #2 – To Divide the Body of Christ in America
The second agenda of this evil cohort was to SEPARATE the Body of Christ within the United States of America. Although many choose to worship according to their denominational and cultural preferences, the level of division that I saw in my vision was greater, more hostile, and more divisive. I saw that these demonic powers were releasing lesser spirits of greed, false doctrines—"doctrines of devils" (1 Timothy 4:1)—and a spirit of competition to bring further division within the Body of Christ in America.
In a vision, the Lord showed me two pastors on television arguing on a national news channel over issues that, twenty years ago, would never have been debated by Christians. Instead of uniting around the divinity of Jesus, the Gospel message, or advancing the Kingdom of God, they were debating things that had once been considered immoral and abdominal by the majority of the Church. This was causing greater confusion (and thus division) among Believers about who was right and who was wrong.
In this next move of God, church leaders will have to reach across denominational, ethnic, and preferential lines to work with other like-minded Kingdom leaders. In years past, most have operated predominantly within their own streams of ministry; but in this next season, the many streams—though different in their style and presentation of the Gospel—will have to work together to tackle societal issues, demonic plots, and the great plan of the enemy to divide the Body of Christ even further. I saw leaders of prominence and influence who had never worked with one another joining together as the Ekklesia to strategize and deal with these issues and principalities and powers.
"...Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1)
Wicked Agenda #3 – To Divide the People through Racial Tension in America
The Lord spoke to me that the third agenda of the enemy was to bring massive violence and a race war—an agenda that failed in 2020. Although in that year there was around $2 billion dollars worth of damage due to rioting and protests in response to police brutality and perceived injustices, it did not spark off the civil war the enemy wanted within the nation. God showed me these demonic principalities and powers were attempting to reincite racial tension and a great racial divide within the nation. They desire to SEPARATE brethren (the different ethnicities). We must be cautious to not allow manipulative agitators to incite these racial tensions, and be watchful (research who is funding groups and movements) and be spiritually discerning.
The Lord said that the racial chaos within the nation had to FIRST BE HEALED WITHIN THE BODY OF CHRIST. If the Body of Christ allows this mindset and tension to enter into the houses of worship, this will give some measure of legal ground for it to enter into the nation. (Photo via Piqsels)
The church at Antioch is where Believers were first called "Christians" (Acts 11:26). I believe this is important because it was the first Gentile, or non-Jewish, church. The first church planted outside of Israel embraced multiculturalism and had a multi-ethnic flavor. I believe that many leaders will start viewing the word "church" not just from a local stand-alone vantage point, but from a community and city-wide vantage point.
The Lord reminded me that the foundation of the civil rights movement in this nation was African American Christian ministers aided by many Caucasian Believers. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was the most influential and notable of these leaders. It was the African American community within the Body of Christ that helped to spark the first civil rights movement, addressing issues of racial injustice and social inequity. It will be the Church that arises once more to prevent the racial divide within this nation. There will be leaders with a vision for racial reconciliation.
"Where there is no vision, the people perish..." (Proverbs 29:18)
As I prayed further, God revealed that seven key cities in America have a DIVINE CALL FROM GOD to be cities of racial healing and reconciliation. He also revealed to me that these cities will seem to be powder kegs of racial tension, but the times of tension will be kairos moments for God to arise to heal the nation. I saw the cities of Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas City (Kansas), Kansas City (Missouri), Atlanta, and Boston.
During the Azusa Street outpouring, the Spirit of love and unity permeated the revival. People of all ethnicities and denominations worshiped together and sought the Holy Spirit. That revival was led by an African American man named William Seymour during a time of great prejudice and segregation. God prevailed, and He desired that the Spirit of love and unity would continue on, going back into the cities and nations, where those who had received mighty impartations at Azusa had traveled from. This did take place in many areas, but the enemy sowed tares. The spirit of division and separation caused many in the Body of Christ to SEPARATE along racial, doctrinal and denominational lines.
Wicked Agenda #4 – To Influence America to Break Its Covenant with Israel
Within this spiritual download, the Lord revealed to me that this demonic council, made up of those whom God called "The Separatists," desired to SEPARATE the United States from the blessing of being in covenant with the nation of Israel. This was their fourth agenda. Satan has tried this many times in the past, which most of us are already aware of. This time, I saw two occurrences of an offense and a breach coming between the U.S./Israel relations. I did not see this in detail, but as I prayed, two were revealed to me.
The first cause of tension was due to the U.S. choosing to back a Middle Eastern nation that, in the past, had not provided much aid or military support. I saw leaders in Israel shaking their heads in dismay. The second issue I saw was the U.S. voting, within a UN resolution, for something that was not in favor of Israel's foreign or national policy. (I will share more if God gives more revelation.)
There is a certain level of spiritual protection that has been afforded to our nation—not only because of the many fervent intercessors, but also because of our support for Israel during key moments. There is a covenant promise that God gave to the nation of Israel through Abraham.
"And I shall bless those blessing you, and those cursing you I shall curse, and in you and in your seed all the generations of the earth shall be blessed." (Genesis 12:3)
Israel is precious to God: "...for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye" (Zechariah 2:8).
As I prayed for the nation of Israel, I saw that the enemy's desire was to not only separate it from the support and backing of the U.S., but also from two other nations: India and Germany. I saw India being pressured by China to lessen their cooperation with the nation of Israel. I saw a picture of a document which looked like a contract that said "Rejected" in red letters. I knew, by the Spirit, that this was a major arms deal, and that Israel desired certain weaponry, especially maritime from Germany. But for some reason, they rejected the purchase offer, causing consternation among the Israelis.
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May they prosper who love you.'" (Psalm 122:6)
Wicked Agenda #5 – To Spiritually Divide and Conquer the States in America
The last thing that I saw (during another time of prayer against the council of principalities and powers) was several states on a map with lines going through them. Some of the lines separated the states into two, horizontally. Other lines were at an angle, and separated the states on the map into three parts. I did not see all of the states, only a few. I asked the Lord, "What does this mean?"
God said, "Find the email to Phyllis Ford."
I wasn't sure how this email from years ago would relate to what I had seen, but I trusted the Lord. Phyllis Ford is a powerful intercessor and prophetess of God in Texas whom Steve Shultz had connected me with many years ago. I searched my inbox and found the email dated 9/25/13 (ten years ago).
Part of the email reads:
"Greetings in the Lord. I prayed for you and TX this morning. I saw a line dividing Texas into two. This was not a physical or geographical division. The state was divided into east and west. I sense that the eastern half of the state will experience a refreshing of the Lord. Several key cities will have large ministries and evangelistic outreach centers. Many will seem to 'pop up' overnight. I see a tornado/storm trying to hit the eastern half of the state, sent by the enemy, but it will not prevail. Also, God is going to prosper the saints here through real estate investments, property deals, and asset transfers.
"The western half of the state I see is under a different principality and spiritual region in itself. Several areas will experience some economic hardships, and more in particular, joblessness. This will cause frustration that will reach up to the state government level. I see the Hispanic community being instrumental in pushing and implementing many positive changes. One from their own ranks will arise to be in a gubernatorial role."
After I read this email (which I had not remembered), I knew what God was saying to me. Intercessors often pray over states as a whole. The satanic forces were no longer launching one attack against each state, but rather dividing some of them up spiritually and implementing different strategies against each region of the state. For example, in this email from ten years ago, it was as if (in the spirit realm) the western and eastern halves of Texas were two different spiritual regions governed by two different spiritual hierarchies.
God spoke to my heart, "TELL THE INTERCESSORS, IT'S TIME TO RE-MAP THE STATES!" Many intercessors are praying over their states as one unit or based on old spiritual mappings. Many of these spiritual mappings have shifted in the last three years. The prophets and intercessors assigned to their respective territories need to re-inquire of the Lord for the spiritual boundaries and divisions set forth for the states. The enemy's design to frustrate corporate intercession through this DIVIDE-AND-CONQUER method must be overcome by fresh revelation and new strategic prayer initiatives. This is the fifth agenda of the enemy that must be overcome.
Prayer Decrees for Our Nation
Through the authority He's given us and in the mighty name of Jesus, let's make these prayer declarations together, establishing God's destiny for our nation, canceling the demonic agendas sent against us:
• Father, in Jesus' name, we DECREE that the wicked plots and schemes of every demonic council arrayed together against the people of God would be spoiled by the wisdom and power of God.
• Father, in Jesus' name, we DECREE that even as You brought confusion upon those who out of pride attempted to build the Tower of Babel, bring confusion to spiritual powers that oppose the will of God.
• Father, in Jesus' name, we DECREE that there will be a banner of righteousness raised up within our nation and a cry from the hearts of the people for a return to morality, repentance and real spirituality through the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
• Father, in Jesus' name, we DECREE that every covenant relationship, alliance, and partnership that You have willed for our nation would remain established. We decree that every ungodly alliance that You have not willed for our nation would come to futility and end abruptly in our favor.
• Father, in Jesus' name, we DECREE that the Body of Christ will unite together for one common cause, to see the will of God and Your desires for America accomplished. We come against every spirit of disunity set forth against the Church in America. May a new national Ekklesia arise to stand as one voice against ungodliness, corruption, and satanic ploys.
• Father, in Jesus' name, we DECREE that the spirit of racism that has tried to dictate the history and destiny of this nation would be abolished and dismantled. May brotherly love permeate the hearts of individuals who once walked in suspicion, resentment, fear, and bitterness toward those of other ethnic groups. We will learn to love our neighbor.
• Father, in Jesus' name, we DECREE that the blessing and hand of God would remain upon America. May the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ reign within our land and extend to the nations of this world once again from our shores and heartland.
