The Birthing of Overdue Promises
As the month of September was approaching, the Lord highlighted this powerful verse, Isaiah 66:9: "'Would I ever bring this nation to the point of birth and then not deliver it?' asks the LORD. 'No! I would never keep this nation from being born,' says your God." At that moment, the word "birthing" leapt off the page. I began hearing God speak in the spirit dimension and confirm that the ninth month (September) is a month of birthing. Overdue promises, callings and destinies are about to be birthed. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit highlighted that God, the Holy Spirit Himself, will be the one doing the delivery.
Stealth Pregnancies
I felt a strong prompting to go back and read the context of that verse, and something strange was highlighted to me. When someone goes into labor, there are visible signs and symptoms which must first take place. Generally speaking, backaches and contractions must first take place. Contrary to this, Isaiah prophesied to those who had returned from exile—those who are empty, broken and feeling defeated—and he said to them:
"Before the birth pains even begin, Jerusalem gives birth to a son. Who has ever seen anything as strange as this? Who ever heard of such a thing? Has a nation ever been born in a single day? Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment? But by the time Jerusalem's birth pains begin, her children will be born." (Isaiah 66:7-8)
In other words, birthing will happen without visible signs—whether we feel it or we don't. Birth pains are the side effects of the curse. When sin came into the world, God said to the woman, "...'I will sharpen the pain of your pregnancy, and in pain you will give birth...'" (Genesis 3:16). Yet, in Christ, the curse has been broken, and we have become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Medically speaking, a stealth or cryptic pregnancy—regardless of a specific religious belief—generally refers to a situation where a woman is unaware of her pregnancy until later stages, or even until labor begins. This can happen to women who have irregular periods, minimal pregnancy symptoms, are in denial, or from a lack of awareness about pregnancy signs. Stealth pregnancy can be a complicated experience emotionally, mentally and physically for the individual involved, as it often involves unexpected changes and decisions regarding prenatal care, parenting and future plans.
In our walk with God, we are "pregnant" with the promises of God through His Spirit. This is a profound and awe-inspiring reality. Just as a cryptic pregnancy refers to a pregnancy that remains hidden and unknown, most faithful followers of Christ will experience a similar journey of carrying God's promises without realizing it initially. The seeds of the Kingdom are seeds of hope, purpose and blessings within our hearts. Sometimes these promises may not be immediately recognizable, but as we nurture our faith, seek God's guidance and cultivate a deeper relationship with Him, we gradually become aware of the divine promises and life growing within us. It is through praying in the Spirit, studying God's Word, and surrounding ourselves with the prophetic Christian community that we can fully embrace and give birth to the promises God has bestowed upon us.
I heard the Lord say, "Many of My children are having 'stealth pregnancies.' Their promises are still hidden or undisclosed. They are still in a period of gestation, development or preparation. They have not yet realized it, nor is it being recognized by others. Just as a woman carries a child within her womb, not knowing that she is pregnant, many of My children are carrying My divine purpose, calling and anointing; yet it's not not immediately evident to them, nor to those around them. My children are unaware that what I'm doing in their lives is significant, and yet they might be in a 'silence' or 'stillness' season. I'm working in them first, before they birth and see My promise in their lives.
"It is a time of hidden preparation where the Holy Spirit is at work, shaping and equipping the Believer for a future manifestation of God's power and purpose. It is essential for them to remain faithful, prayerful and sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit during this stealth pregnancy, as it ultimately will lead to a time of revelation and the birthing of God's plans and blessings in their life."
Supernatural Birthing
What's interesting is that the Lord began to highlight that the birthing will take place in a supernatural way.
Isaiah 54:1 says, "'Sing, O childless woman, you who have never given birth! Break into loud and joyful song, O Jerusalem, you who have never been in labor. For the desolate woman now has more children than the woman who lives with her husband,' says the LORD." The word "desolate" is defined as "a place that is completely deserted, empty, rejected, bleak, devoid of life and excitement, etc." Now, when you refer to a woman as desolate, it can mean that she is empty, alone, deserted, rejected, and in a place of ruin and disappointment.
The biggest question is, "How will this happen?" Isaiah answers this question by telling us, "For your Creator will be your Husband; the LORD of Heaven's Armies is His name! He is your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, the God of all the earth" (Isaiah 54:5). God is not only doing the birthing (or the delivery); He is also the one who is planting the seed, by the power of His Holy Spirit. Mary experienced the same situation, and when the angel proclaimed to her that she would become pregnant, her question was, "How?"
"The angel replied, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and He will be called the Son of God.'" (Luke 1:35)
Birthing in the Spirit and Birthing in the Flesh
Birthing will be happening in the two dimensions—in the dimension of the spirit, and the dimension of the flesh. Jesus said to Nicodemus, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6). Those who carry the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control) will birth spiritual promises, callings and destinies. Those who carry the works of the flesh (sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness and reveling) will birth destruction.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 states such a powerful truth: "When people are saying, 'Everything is peaceful and secure,' then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman's labor pains begin. And there will be no escape." This will be the fate of the wicked.
What God Is about to Birth, No One Can Abort
God said, "Age will not matter." God is not a respecter of age.

What God is about to birth in the spirit no one can kill. When Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, gave the order to the Hebrew midwives to kill the baby boys of the Hebrews as they deliver them, they refused to obey the king's command, and they allowed the boys to live (Exodus 1:12-17).
Birthing Time Is at Hand!
As I continued in the Word, Romans 9:9 was highlighted to me. It sounded like a double confirmation for September: "For God had promised, 'I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.'"
As I was in prayer, I heard the Lord say, "What you are carrying is from Me, and you will give birth to it, and I, the Lord your God, will be doing the delivery. Birthing time is at hand. You are going into labor. Overdue promises, callings and destines will be birthed. Birthing will happen in the dimension of the spirit and the dimensions of the flesh. Those who are carrying the work of the flesh will sink in the pit they made. In the net they hid for you—their own foot will be caught in it. But as for you, you will be birthing the promises I have promised you. The promises you have forgotten about, I did not forget about.
"You are thinking, How will this happen?
"My Spirit will overshadow you and will perform the birthing and the delivery. Therefore, I say to you, 'You are entering a month of supernatural birthing.'
"But you say, 'Oh, Lord, I do not feel it!'
"Symptoms and signs of labor will not appear, for every curse which caused pain or delay has been broken. Before you start feeling the pain of labor, the birthing will be accomplished. You will open your eyes and see the salvation of the Lord. What you are birthing will not die. No one will be able to stand against it. Those who do will be standing against Me.
"Many will find it strange and will not believe, thinking, How can such a strange phenomena happen during a time of crisis and instability? Who has ever seen anything as strange as this? Whoever heard of such a thing? But this is My promise to you: Your promises will be birthed, and your visions will be fulfilled. I will give you a river of peace and prosperity, and the wealth of the nations will flow to you."
