"I Am Coming Around You Like a Hawk!"
As I was seeking God in prayer for July (the seventh month), I was reminded that the number seven has to do with completeness and perfection. God created the world in seven days (Genesis 2:1-3). The number seven also speaks of rest (Genesis 2:2-3). The number seven frequently accompanies the fulfillment of promises or oaths. In fact, the Hebrew word for swearing an oath (shaba) comes from the Hebrew root word for seven (sheba). The menorah in the tabernacle had seven branches, which symbolized divine illumination by God's Spirit. Yet God was taking me into a different direction.
I found myself reading Genesis 15:1, where God spoke to Abram in a vision and said to him, "Do not be afraid, Abram, for I will protect you, and your reward will be great" (see Genesis 15:1). The promise of "I will protect you," kept jumping from the page at me.
I heard God say that the pledge, "one nation under God," is under threat from foreign gods (or demonic entities), and that there is going to be a great shaking to shake off every demonic agenda. Yet God's people will be protected in the midst of the shaking.
The Lord began to open my eyes to the many fiery attacks His people have been facing – major attacks which aim to destroy the unity of the family, the identity of children, and to paganize the nation. As God was showing me the agenda behind these attacks, I started to hear a clear voice saying, "I am coming around you like a hawk!" At that moment, the strong, tangible presence of the Lord engulfed me. I began to understand that in July, God is highlighting divine protection, deliverance and covering.
I didn't know much about hawks, and I knew that God was trying to teach me something. As I started to do some research, I found out some astounding facts about hawks.
Hawks are birds of prey who never quit. Hawks have excellent eye sight; they can see up to eight times more clearly than the sharpest human eye. They have a membrane over their eyes which causes them to see even while their eyes are closed. Hawk species are known for their speed, particularly when chasing prey. They can dive at a speed of 150 miles per hour through the air. Hawks are able to catch their prey both in the air and on the ground. Flying high in the sky, hawks constantly scan the ground. Interestingly, hawks and eagles are both from the same family.
The Eagle's Power, a Great Shaking and Divine Deliverance
The Lord began to point out to me the bald eagle that is symbolic with the American flag, highlighting a powerful revelation. Although the bald eagle was chosen as the national symbol of America to represent courage, strength, freedom and independence, in the coming season, the bald eagle (which is a metaphor for God Himself) will represent divine protection, deliverance and coverage.
The Lord began to speak about a great shaking that's coming and pointed me to Hebrews 12:26-27: "At that time His voice shook the earth, but now He has promised, 'Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.' The words 'once more' indicate the removing of what can be shaken – that is, created things – so that what cannot be shaken may remain."
The point of the shaking is to shake off every pagan entity which has entered our world and country. I was reminded of Exodus 12:12, where God said to Moses, "...I will execute judgment against all the gods of Egypt..." This includes the gods of Babylon and others. However, in the midst of the great shaking, God's people will experience the Goshen anointing. I heard God say, "It's time to start decreeing Psalm 9:4 and holding onto its promises."
"For You have maintained my just cause; You have sat on the throne, giving righteous judgment." (Psalm 9:4)
This will be a time where God will cover us with His feathers, and under His wings we will find refuge. During the shaking, God's children will not only be protected, but they will also learn to fly and mature. God, who is like an eagle, will be shaking the nest. He will fly over His young, spread His wings to catch them, and carry them on His own wings (see Deuteronomy 32:11). During the shaking, many might fear that they will fall, but they will experience a divine "lift up."
The image of the eagle is also one of divine deliverance. All throughout Scripture we read about God's deliverance of His people. Nowhere is this more clear than in the story of God delivering the Israelites out of Egypt.
"You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Myself." (Exodus 19:4)
The Lord showed me that there is a spiritual renewal that's coming to God's people.
"...but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)
Eagles also represent power. There are many Scriptures that speak of the strength and power of the eagle, especially in relation to its ability to swoop down from great heights to catch its prey. The metaphor speaks of God's powerful ability to bring down even the highest and mightiest on the earth.
"Though you soar aloft like the eagle, though your nest is set among the stars, from there I will bring you down, declares the LORD." (Obadiah 1:4)
Like a Hawk and an Eagle, He Is Coming Through for You!
The following is a prophetic word the Lord gave me for this time:
"I am coming around you like a hawk, covering you with My round feathers and hiding you under My wings. It is in this position where you will find safety, refuge and protection.
"As the eagle is the king of the sky, I am the King over your life. So rest in Me and know that I am working. My eyesight is sharper than the hawk's, and I am more swift than the eagle. No one can snatch you from My hands, for I am guarding you as I would guard My own eyes.
"Like a hawk who is known to be swift and dives in the air to catch his prey – both in the air and on the ground – I am diving into your circumstances. I am on your case like a hawk, because you are My special possession, My masterpiece.
"Do not be afraid from the shaking. I am shaking off everything that's not meant to exist in your life. You will not fall. For like the eagle who shakes his nest, spreads his wings to catch his young, and carries them, so you will fall into My embrace. I will carry you on eagle's wings, and you will receive My immeasurable riches and kindness. (Photo via Unsplash)
"I am teaching you to fly, and giving you new feathers. You will fly higher than ever before. For My promises are divinely perfect, unbreakable and unshakable.
"The attacks that you are facing will not tear you down, but will lift you up. There will be a harvest of peace, a spiritual renewal, and regrowth that will come to your life.
"July is the month where you are to wait on Me and to trust Me, for My works will shine in your life. I, your great Shepherd, will show up and show off. So this is the time to retreat with Me. I am inviting you on a private retreat, and there, in My presence, you will put off your old self, break every pride, and get rid of every false covering. For I will become your covering, and I will cover you with My righteousness and holiness.
"I am inviting you to come up higher with Me. There I will satisfy you will good things – not the things of this world, for they will make you feel empty, but with My goodness and glory; with My presence and favor. Your youth will be renewed like an eagle, and you will never fail."
A Word for the US
I heard the Lord say, "Remember who you are and what you stand for. This nation belongs to Me, and like an eagle, I am coming and spreading My wings of protection. The shaking that's coming will bring judgment of the wicked, but deliverance for My remnant. This is My nation, and like a swift eagle, no one will be able to claim it.
"The shaking will bring times of spiritual cleansing. Times of renewal are coming.
"The wicked think that they are the eagle, but the Lord who sits on high laughs and says to the wicked: Though you think that you are beyond My reach, though you think your nest is among the stars, from there I will bring you down.
"I will tear demonic instruments, assignments and plans against My nation and My people. I am claiming this land for Myself and removing every stronghold over it. I am plucking out the foreign gods like weeds being plucked out from fertile soil. I will plant My appointed, chosen children as oak trees of righteousness in strategic places to rule and take hold of what belongs to them.
"Watch Me move, and take hold of this nation again, for this nation has been freed and will stay free."

Now that's a very good word to hear... God has us, is covering us, and He's protecting us from fiery attacks we are facing. This is just a portion, as there is much more Yvon received from the Lord concerning our nation as well.
