"WHY DO PROPHETIC PEOPLE GET DIFFERENT KINDS OF WORDS -- ALL AT THE SAME TIME?"

 This
is a letter I wrote to a friend because a lot of people were asking me why I and
some other internet ministries were not giving "judgment" words -- so here is an
explanation that may help people understand why every prophet or prophetic-type
ministry does not say exactly the same thing. This is a letter I wrote to a good
friend who didn't understand why God didn't tell me exactly what He told her --
I hope it helps YOU.
UNITY BRINGS POWER
When I was writing this letter last night (Jan. 6, 2005), I got little pieces of
diamond specks on my left hand. When I asked Bob Jones about it today, he said it
had to do with writing. I have had this diamond thing before, several times, when
I had been praying under a strong anointing, but have never had it on my hands.
We must understand one another to have unity. In my room last night, a very huge
angel came and stood at the foot of my bed (he was dressed like a Roman soldier);
he reached out and touched my right foot. I asked a prophet friend of mine what
this was all about.
The answer I received was, "He is inviting
you to join his battle and he is reaching for the righteousness and justice within
you."
It's time to reach out in faith and take the
kingdom. Jesus said, " . . . the violent take it (the kingdom) by force" so the warrior
within must arise now -- it's time to have an understanding and maturity in the
realm of the Spirit. Via a copy of this letter, here's my offering to all the friends
of the prophetic.
"THE BODY OF CHRIST HAS MANY PARTS"
Dear Joan (not her real name),
Thanks for your note! I appreciate your heart so much. I appreciate getting your
words and revelations and I believe they are from God.
The Body of Christ has many parts, but let me explain further. God has put many
parts in the Body and we don't all have the same ministry and impartation. The Body
of Christ would look very weird if it did, wouldn't it?
Let's say we all had a burden for evangelism
and everything we saw had to do with evangelism -- the Body would have a great three
foot arm and the other arm would be shriveled up! If the Body had 97 eyes all over
the Body, it would look very weird. If the Body had 62 ears that would look very
weird, too.
You are an "ear" (and an awesome ear), and you are called to listen in certain areas
and to let people like me know, because I have so much outside contact around the
world with the Body of Christ.
You can only do what God has called you to do; we only have anointing for that which
God has called us to. You can't operate in my anointing, and I can't operate in
yours, but you need me and I need you -- that's what the Body of Christ is all about.
All the different members working together and edifying itself (the Body) in love.
MY FUNCTION IN THE BODY
The Lord has called me to bring liberty and to break off religious Spirits who are
interfering with the revelation of God's love and grace. The Body of Christ has
very little revelation of the grace of God, and that in itself is keeping people
in bondage and control and religious mindsets, robbing them of that intimate relationship
with Christ. How can you have a very intimate relationship with Jesus if you are
not sure of His love and grace?
Still, people feel they have to "qualify" to
be accepted by God and to be used by God. That's what He's called me to do and impart
-- break bondage and show His love and grace.
Often, before judgments come to a place, there
is revival and an outpouring of the glory of God. That's to keep God's people secure
in Him.
God's Glory sometimes falls before persecution. Did you ever read the book about
the revival in Cambodia? It was about an awesome outpouring of the Spirit in a land
where fierce persecution came shortly afterwards. People had such an encounter with
the glory of God, that they had an incredible manifestation of God's power and glory
in the midst of the persecution and death.
Whatever our callings are, we aren't supposed to lose our joy in God. I was delivered,
years ago, from several religious spirits. One of them was a spirit of false responsibility.
This spirit makes you feel responsible for things and people you can do nothing
about. It put me under a heaviness that wasn't from God and I lost all my joy. False
Burdens is also a spirit, and it does the same thing, only heavier. It makes God's
people sour and heavy.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY
Regarding intercession, my responsibility when I pray is to stay in the anointing
and yield to the Holy Spirit. He knows what to pray and when. So, when I yield to
Him, He takes over. I might weep, I might speak in tongues, I might do some declaring;
I might do some warfare, I might laugh (God looks at His enemies and laughs). One
thing I know, the power of God shows up and things happen and peoples' lives are
changed forever, when I obey Him.
But, I can't make people do anything; it's
not my responsibility to try. He is the one who changes hearts. Our responsibility
is to offer what we have, that's all. You and I can't change anyone's heart -- only
God can do that.
Do you know that Jesus only ever did three things? He did what the Father told Him
to do, He went where the Father told Him to go, and said what the Father told Him
to say -- and that's ALL HE EVER DID. He was not need-oriented, and He didn't
run around Jerusalem trying to meet everyone's needs. He ministered to the Father
and, as a by-product, many needs were met.
Jesus stayed in the power of the Holy Spirit, but the power of God did the work
-- and it was released by His staying in the anointing. The devil doesn't care how
many prayer meetings and Bible studies we go to, as long as they keep us busy and
as long we don't get into the anointing. It's only the anointing that breaks the
yoke.
The devil's kingdom is not affected by our religious information, nor is God's kingdom
affected by our good religious information. The devil's kingdom and God's kingdom
are affected by the ANOINTING OPERATING IN OUR LIVES; and the anointing comes when
it's not us, BUT HIM, when we rest and yield to the Spirit, and get out of striving
and trying.
YOU AND ME . . . WE AREN'T GOD
The famous Welsh revival of 1904, when the glory and power of God fell on Wales,
was an incredible and marvelous event of history -- but it only really lasted nine
months. Why? Because the young man, Evan Roberts, who was so powerfully used to
bring that glory of God into Wales, got into a spirit of false responsibility, and
when people didn't respond how he thought they should, then he would close the meetings
or scold people or just leave.
But, you see, He wasn't God and the people's response was not his responsibility.
He couldn't change anyone's heart, nor make anyone do anything. THAT IS UP TO GOD.
When we try and take the place of God, everything gets out of whack.
We are to be led by the Spirit -- not by anything outside. You can't manufacture
the anointing.
WHAT THE LORD TOLD ME . . . AND DIDN'T TELL ME
A strange thing happened to me on September
11, three years ago. The night before, I had had a powerful meeting in Philadelphia
and the power of God was flowing and people were getting delivered.
The next day, this terrible thing happened and I was stuck in a hotel room in Philadelphia.
I was sitting on the bed, watching in horror, the news on the TV. All that devastation!
I started praying, and then, all of a sudden, my back felt like it had been crushed.
The Lord spoke to me, "Leave it alone."
I was a bit stunned, but I shut up praying.
After a while, because of what I saw with my eyes, I started praying again. I felt
the same crushing sensation on my back (like I had in Wales, when the Lord showed
me about Evan Roberts). The Lord said to me, again, "Leave it alone."
Well, I don't understand that wholly. I'm not God and I can't do everything; if
I try, I'll end up with a nervous breakdown, so I have to be Spirit led, even if
I don't fully understand -- at least my mind doesn't.
WHAT SOME OTHERS WERE EXPERIENCING AND HEARING THE SAME
DAY . . .
That same day, September 11th, a Pastor friend of mine in Atlanta told me his wife,
awake at 5 a.m., was walking around the bedroom with her hair in curlers, saying,
"Get up, we have to pray. Something terrible is going to happen."
He told her to go back to bed, but she kept
on, saying, "Get up, something terrible is going to happen."
Another lady had her little grandchild staying with her -- she was three years old.
The child came to her room and shook her about 6 a. m.: "Nana, it's a bad day today."
"No," the grandma said, "It's going to be a
great day! We are going out."
"No, Nana, its very bad day. A very bad day
today."
Some other friends were in an airplane on an early flight, about 7:30 a.m. For no
reason that they knew, they both started weeping.
Well, God certainly had the Spirit moving on people all over the world. Why didn't
He give something to me? I don't know -- I'm not God, I can't tell Him what to do.
He gives me lots of other things -- words, visions, etc. He allows me to bring His
glory. He has called me to set His people free, so they can be truly Spirit-led
and not oppressed by religious spirits, whose desire is to take them OUT OF THE
ANOINTING.
You have to do what God tells YOU to do.
I wanted to send money to the victims of the
flooded areas, but when I got up, I started weeping for Kenya and God told me to
send money there. So, as my good friend, John Scotland, says, "What can you do?"
GOD'S PERFECT PLAN
If we are all Spirit-led, and we all do what God is calling us to do, the BODY WILL
WORK AS IT SHOULD AND ALL THE NEEDS WILL BE MET, and it will be HIM. You aren't
called to do what I do, but if you were in some of my meetings, you would sure appreciate
the manifest Presence of Jesus. I appreciate the words and revelations that you
have, and I take them to heart. In fact, you sent me a confirmation about being
in the right place. We had been seeking the Lord on that issue.
Love to see you - I can only be what He called ME to be and do what He called ME
to do. Remember, the angel came to my house and gave me honey and, for three hours,
I was lifted up in the Spirit realm over Ireland, Wales, and Scotland and saw the
call of God come back to Wales. Jesus said He was going to pour honey (revelation)
on the Body.
