THE LEAVEN! THE LEAVEN!

It is truly the eleventh hour. I was reminded of a vision I had several months ago of Jesus running through the temple, upturning the table tops and vendors, hearing Him cry, "The leaven! The leaven! It's time to get the leaven out!" WE are the temple, and the cry truly is, "It's time to get the leaven out!" - Truly, He is doing that in the hearts of all who will listen, and that plea continues.

Whatever we will be able to accomplish in ministry will be due to our pressing into HIM and HIS WORD, for truly, any ministry we have to do will only spring forth from our relationship with Him!

A WORD TO MEN IN MINISTRY ABOUT THEIR FAMILIES

For those men in ministry that have abandoned their families for the "work of the ministry" and left them in ruins: The Lord will only give true spiritual authority with HIS Bride to the degree that you properly tend to your own; to do less would be likened to condoning adultry. He loves you enough to not allow that. Return to your first love - spiritually, Him and naturally, your wife - and add them to your team with great rewards!

HEBREWS FOR 2000

The Lord gave me the book of Hebrews for the Year 2000. Obviously, ALL of the Word of God is profitable for ALL years, but I felt that He spoke through the book of Hebrews and gave me several "K" words for "Y2K" that would be particularly essential during the year 2000:

KETTLE

It is the Year to get in the KETTLE, and become the church that HE brews! The word "sanctify" means "to grow in holiness." He will take off the dross as we jump into His KETTLE and allow Him to sanctify us.

Hebrews 12:7-11 tells us that His chastening leads to righteousness and being a partaker with Him:

(7) If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons, for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? (8) But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. (9) Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? (10) For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. (11) Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but grievous; nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

A YEAR TO KINDLE

It is the Year to KINDLE our relationship with Him and to let Him Kindle us!

Heb. 12:29 Our God is a consuming fire Heb. 1:7: He makes His ministers flames of fire

A YEAR TO KNOW HIM

It is the Year to KNOW Him and His voice intimately!

Heb. 2:1 Give more earnest heed to what we've heard, lest we drift away Heb. 11:6 Without faith, it is impossible to please Him

A YEAR TO KNEEL

It is the year to KNEEL - to bow to Him - to make Him Lord of all

Heb. 2:8 tells us that HE has put ALL things in subjection to Himself...it is time that we "do likewise"! The name of Jesus is above the name of Y2K, lack, and fear!!! Let us place it all at His feet!

TO KNOCK

It is the year to KNOCK on doors and be persistent! ~ To KNOCK on His doors AND the doors of those we are to encourage or bring to Him.

Re: KNOCKING on His doors:

Heb. 6:12-15:

(12) Do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience (patient persistence!) inherit the promises. (13) For when God made a promise to Agraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself (14) saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you and multiplying I will multiply you." (15) And so after he had patiently endured he obtained the promise.

Re: KNOCKING on others' doors:

Heb. 3:13: Exhort one another daily while it is called today lest any of you be hardened through deceitfulness of sin. (Exhort = reprove earnestly; advise strongly)

KNOWLEDGE

It is the year to get KNOWLEDGE - we don't want to perish for lack of it! He desires for us to obtain it from His word AND by His Spirit in order to survive the days ahead.

Heb. 4:12 & 13:

(12) The word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

(13) And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

KOINONIA

It is the year to develop KOINONIA - authentic fellowship - with the Body of Christ.

Heb. 10:25 says Do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together as the day (of the Lord) draws near. - Every joint supplies! - In other words, "Assembly required"!!! - *Charles R. Swindoll has said that true Koinonia fellowship is "expressions of genuine Christianity freely shared among the members of God's family. It may include sharing WITH someone money, words of encouragement, etc., or sharing IN something with someone, such as sorrow, joy or concern." (*Suggested reading: Koinonia - Authentic Fellowship by Charles R. Swindoll)

KINGDOM

It is the year to get KINGDOM understanding and come into reverential relationship with the Lord as King! Yes, we know Him as sons, but even sons of earthly kings do not lack respect and reverence of their father's royal status. There's a difference between not having a religious spirit and being presumptuous and rude in our approach to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! KINGDOM understanding and KINGDOM attitudes will bring forth reverential, Godly fear.

Heb. 12:28 & 29:

(28)Therefore since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace by which we may serve God acceptably and with reverence and Godly fear. (29) For our God is a consuming fire.

KILL GREED

It is the year to allow God to KILL greed, fear and impatience and to TRUST GOD! The enemy wants to create lack - or fear of lack - and cause us to become selfish. The enemy seeks to kill, steal and destroy but WE are to kill - cast down - the enemy's suggestions and to continue to be givers.

Heb. 7:8 says that when we give here, HE receives there. We cannot out give God! We must continue to serve Him in this area to continue to receive from Him.

Heb. 13:16 Don't forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased

THE KING

It is the year to Yield all to the KING! Heb. 12:25: See that you do not refuse Him who speaks... Heb. 3:15 & 4:7 Today if you'll hear His voice, do not harden your hearts

KINDNESS

It is the year to be KIND

Heb. 13:16 Don't forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased!

OTHER SPECIFIC WORDS FOR THE YEAR 2000

Increase in signs and wonders in the heavens and upon the earth.

Continued deterioration of political and economical structures around the globe.

Increase of radical groups attempting to separate from government structures.

Increase of explosions in the both natural and spiritual realms.

GET OUT OF JAIL FREE!

I heard "Get out of jail free" and felt that many who have been incarcerated will now "capture" their cities for Christ! Radical Christianity will pour forth from the prisons and into the streets through these radical Bondservants for Christ!

YOUTH RALLIES

Christian youth rallies, concerts, marches and evangelism will rapidly pour out across the nations! The hippie movements and woodstock type of events from the past will pale in comparison! Child evangelists and prophetic voices will astonish and capture the attention even of secular media.

FEMALE FORERUNNERS

Multitudes of female forerunners will continue to come forth in sports, politics and ministry. There will be many doing "firsts" or "bests" and paving the way for other female leaders.

I heard "copious amounts of radiation released."

RADICAL RESPONSE FROM THE GAY COMMUNITY

Radical response to Christ will begin to arise out of the gay community and many be set free.

Some have spoken of a civil war within the church; I have seen civil war like tempers beginning to emerge within this country and others as many tire of what they perceive as tyranical government rules and regulations. We must remember that God sets those into authority and that even Jesus "rendered unto Caesar" (the government) what was due and respected the leadership placed in position.

HOME SCHOOLING TO FLOURISH

Home schooling will sky rocket due to fears of continued violence in public schools. This will result in public debates and parental tempers heating up as government regulations also tighten regarding home schooling issues.

The Lord's "divine interruptions" will continue. Many have already been moved and placed in position during 1999. Many more will now rise up to "follow the cloud" that the Lord sends out to lead them into the geographical and spiritual positions they are to function in "for such a time as this."

TENT MEETINGS

The tent meetings of old will again arise as many seek to recapture the heart of God in going out into the highways and byways to compel the lost to "come in!" Young and old alike will gather to seek a higher place in Him than they have found within the confines of buildings made with hands.

House churches will also continue to emerge and increase as many seek the "more" they have been crying out for and cease to find it within the standard church structure.

A ROLL OVER YEAR

Being a "roll over year," the prophecies of 1999 will also continue to roll over into the year 2000, as was stated in "Word for 1999" at website: http://members.aol.com/joniames
