"GENERATION JOSHUA – Can You Hear the Call?"

Part of Gatekeepers ministry call is to mobilize the youth of the nations to prayer, praise and mission. In this hour I sense a powerful and mighty apostolic/prophetic release of Kingdom destiny over the youth/young adults of the nations. The Lord has given me three impacting prophetic words for the youth of the world, this being the first. The second word is a call to be like Josiah and the third a word for the Samuel Generation. I will shortly send these words out.

If you are a young person/young adult take these words and teaching and allow Holy Spirit to melt them to your heart. If you are young at heart, take these promises and pray them as the Lord leads. Arise youth of the nations, and take up the mantle of Christ!

A CALL ON YOUR LIVES TO WORSHIP GOD – FACE TO FACE

"Whenever the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance to the tent, they all stood and worshipped, each at the entrance to his tent. The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent." Ex 33:10-11

Joshua was a tent dweller before he was a city taker! He learned to walk and dwell in the glory. God has been calling and is calling forth an entire generation of young men and women to be 'tent dwellers'. To a place of worship-full connectedness with God's Spirit, that is 24-7-365, and the Lord says, "It is nothing about walls and everything about My presence. It's a place of rest, yet it's a place of pilgrimage. It's a place of peace and a place of absolute abandonment, where you are learning to hear my voice and to love me with all of your heart, all of your soul and all of your strength." The Lord wants to encourage every young man and woman today to hear his call, to dwell in his presence and to believe that whole nations will be affected as they move in and through this place of intimacy with Christ.

A CALL TO HOLINESS

Joshua 5:13-15

God says to the youth of today, "I call you to holiness. I call you to be set apart for my purposes. There can be no compromise. Some of you are living with one foot in the world and one foot in the Kingdom, and I call you out of promiscuity into purity. I call you out of sleepiness into divinely inspired activity, not into a works mentality but a Kingdom mentality that flows from worship reverence and adoration. I call you out of witchcraft and into the glorious accomplishment of the Cross. This is the work of my Holy Spirit."

A CALL ON YOUR LIVES TO BE WARRIORS IN PRAYER AND OF THE WORD

EXODUS 17:8-15

"So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered." v10

"As Long as Moses held up his hands the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning." V11

"So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword." v13

"Moses built an altar and called it The Lord is my Banner. He said, 'For hands were lifted up to the throne of the Lord. The Lord will be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation.'" V15,16

"Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray ...." Eph 6:17

And the Lord would remind the young generation of today, "There is a call on your lives to be warriors for Christ. To be warriors of His word and to be warriors in the arena of prayer, worship and mission.

God says, "I have put a perseverance on the inside of the youth of the nations, and a stamina for prayer and worship and servanthood that is remarkable. I have given you an energy and an ability to be alert and awake for unusually long periods of time." New calls will be made for prayer and praise gatherings, and many will respond to this new millennium Kingdom pilgrimage.

MAKE SURE JOSHUA HEARS! = VISUAL GENERATION

God says to this generation, "Make sure you hear my Word! Don't lose the love of my Word. It's not enough to hear my word through other people; my Word must not be lost to the youth of the nations. You will learn more of my ways and of my nature through my word. You will learn to be overcomers through my word. Your very lives will be my Word. I have made you a visual generation and I will continue to creatively inspire you to share my Word through art, through drama, through poetry and many other artistic and musical means."

A CALL ON YOUR LIVES TO BE SERVANTS

Ex 33:11 "his young aide"

"Youth of the nations, I call you to servanthood and humility. My children fear not the spirit of Saul, for I command your destiny. Do not fear my discipline for I discipline all those whom I love. It is part of being a son. Just as Joshua was a servant to Moses, so I am placing you in mentoring relationships where you will be nurtured and encouraged and learn to mature as my disciples."

A CALL ON YOUR LIVES TO BE SONS

"Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them. The Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes, and in the desert. There you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place." Dt 1:29-31

The Lord says, "I call you to be my sons, and I say to you my children that I have broken the spirit of orphanhood upon you and I am your Father. I speak healing to each one of you my sons and daughters. As you are healed from abandonment and rejection, I will use you to reach a generation of fatherless children."

A CALL TO FAITH AND NEW REALMS OF OPERATING IN THE MIRACULOUS

Joshua and Caleb had a different spirit – they served the Lord wholeheartedly.

"The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a man. Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel!" Jos 10:13b, 14

"I call you to faith in like manner as I called Joshua and Caleb. I ask that you serve me with a whole heart. You will see extraordinary miracles as you pursue my presence. I am releasing the mantle of miracles through my body on the earth, and the youth of the nations will not be overlooked in the outpouring. Guard your heart and mind and seek the One who pours out the miracles, much more than the signs and wonders themselves. I call you to new realms of operating in the miraculous.

"I am raising up a standard in my bride that she will place ministry to me beyond and above ministering for me. My works are not to be despised, but I am truly love-sick for my bride. I am calling the youth of the nations to extravagant first love. My children, I am Love. Love is from me. You love because I first loved you. Therefore, the seed of bridal love is within you. I will cause it to deepen and flourish for I am Jealous for my bride and for her full affections. I am Life."

A CALL TO OBEDIENCE

[Jericho was won through obedience (Joshua 6)]

"I call you to obedience and to many victories for my Kingdom, if you will surrender your rights at the Cross. Obey your leaders as Joshua obeyed Moses, and you will be raised up as you embrace humility. Your zeal and passion are contagious, but know that you also need to be married to the wisdom of elders. I call my bride to unity. I am a tri-generational God."

A COVENANT CALL! COVENANT MEETING GOD; COVENANT KEEPING PEOPLE; COVENANT REAPING!

Ex 20; Ex 24 (covenant confirmed)

"Then Moses set out with Joshua his aide, and Moses went up on the mountains of God. He said to the elders, "Wait here for us until we come back to you. Aaron and Hur are with you, and anyone involved in a dispute can go to them." Ex 24:13,14

"I am calling my bride to the place of communion with me that will carry her high above dispute, contention, and compromise. I desire intimacy with my children. I am calling you higher and taking you deeper with me than you have ever known. Youth of the nations you will walk with your elders into the presence of the Lord, and will know the wonder of my ways. Your hearts will burn and ache with a passion for your King. I am the call, I am the cause, I am the One who commissions you. I will display you as trophies of My grace. I will display my honor through your lifestyles of extravagant love for your Lord, for the church and for the lost."

A VISION FOR VICTORY

"The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. If the Lord is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with us. Do not be afraid of them." Nu 14:7-9

The Lord says, "Youth of the nations I have given you a vision for victory. A vision that supersedes circumstances; a vision that lifts the name of Jesus over every tribe and nation. I am pouring out a fresh anointing to prophesy and you will dream dreams and see visions in ever increasing measure. You will have angelic visitations and hear the sounds of heaven. Use your gifting for my glory. Train yourselves for war. I am rising up generals who will train you as David trained the many warriors to come to bless and praise my name."

"I am breaking fear off the youth of the nations. It is time to arise and take up your Kingdom destiny. I am perfecting love in my body and fear will be broken of as my love is made perfect throughout the church generations."

PROPHETIC VISION

"See what the land is like and whether the people who live there are strong or weak, few or many" .... V17

"I call you to be strong and very courageous. I call you to look upon the land and walk upon the land, and dance and weep and pray and bless the land and see the restoration of the devastation of many generations past. I am releasing a fresh watchman anointing on the church and the youth will take their place as anointed watchmen. I call you to embrace the seer anointing and to marry your zeal to wisdom. Pray for the nations and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

"I am going to use the youth of the nations to do extraordinary feats in my name. I will heal you of all that the enemy has robbed you of. I will cause my Truth to resonate in the hearts of the youth of the nations and deception and lies will be exposed by my Spirit.

"There is a quickening across Europe of connectedness amongst young leaders that will act as a catalyst to birth fresh hope, healing and salvations amongst the youth of the world. I have raised up a radical generation of young adults in Canada and America, who are pioneers for purity. I am sending you out to the four corners of the earth, carrying this mantle for purity. Even now I am preparing places where you will be met with hospitality and love. I have prepared the hearts of a generation of spiritual mothers and fathers to receive you. I am using the youth of Asia to usher in my Kingdom and to repair the highway of holiness. In Africa the youth are ushering in my Kingdom through praise and prayer. Many young apostles and evangelists will rise out of Africa. In India the youth will receive a mighty healing anointing. Many lepers will be cleansed and healed in this outpouring. In Australia a powerful anointing for deliverance will release a generation of young men and women who will be bondage breakers for Christ. All across the earth, I will use the youth who have permitted me to sanctify them with my Blood and my Word and for my name sake, they will serve with joy and peace."
