From the beginning of the intense portion of this Presidential "race," I've repeatedly stated, as I published articles, that the only Scriptural way to pray for ALL leaders who are in authority is to pray in agreement with how the Apostle Paul worded it:

 

1 Timothy 2:1-4
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.


President Bush and Senator John Kerry were then and are now either Kings (President Bush) or "those in authority" (Senator John Kerry). Another way to state this is that, when you pray for and bless and intercede for ALL those in authority, you are saying, in effect, "GRACE TO YOU!"

I have been profoundly appreciative as John Kerry, in an effort to help to re-unite the country, gave a gracious concession phone call to President Bush and speech to America. I also have two daughters roughly the ages of Senator Kerry and President Bush's two daughters, and I could not help but like both sets of daughters all along, and hold these men and their wives in respect for helping to raise those daughters to grow up to be such productive, happy, and supportive members of their fathers, their family, and society in the USA.

To those daughters (and other children) of the Senator and to the daughters of President and Mrs. Bush, I say, "GRACE TO YOU!" from the Lord. To state that you are all loved by God (children and candidates alike) would be a great understatement.

I too am grateful that President George Bush has taken the "high road" to this election and has accepted John Kerry's concession with true grace and character also. I do believe that, before it's over, George W. Bush will be seen as one of the greatest "uniters" of this Nation in its history. He has not taken an easy path but he has taken a straight path.

Please remember to pray that the Lord will continue make HIS PATH STRAIGHT!



WE ARE A PROPHETIC LIST

Our main emphasis, of course, is that of being a prophetic voice to the nations. God sets up Kings and rulers or removes them.

We have believed for some time that for "such a time as this" God has chosen President Bush.

SPECIAL AND IMPORTANT NOTE BY STEVE SHULTZ: It would be a mistake to assume that a most brilliant political director at the White House figured out how to turn out a vote from/by evangelicals, born-again Christians, and the Catholic Vote (which could be born again also of course), though political strategists may "think" this is what happened. This is not what happened! God began to impress churches nationwide, and even in such countries as Africa -- to turn out hundreds of thousands all over the nation to FAST AND PRAY for this election. Then, because they felt called by God to pray, they took action and went out and voted. I can't tell you what a huge mistake it would be to assume, by either party, that a brilliant political machine, either now or in the future -- will turn out evangelical/born-again/and Catholic votes. Because it will not work that way. God's people, moved by the Holy Spirit acted because they felt called by God and empowered from the grass roots level, to pray, and then get out and vote. -- Steve Shultz
 

3) Bishop Harry Jackson called on the African-American Community, stating that He, Harry Jackson (pastor of 2000-member Hope Community Church in Washington, D.C.), has chosen, as a member of the Black Community, to vote for President Bush. This was because he felt that God had shown him that George Bush was most likely to focus, this next four years, on BOTH RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUSTICE. THE WORD OF PROPHETS MADE "MORE SURE" (2 Peter 1:19)

The Lord spoke over and over to His prophets as to who HE had chosen to be in the White House for the next term.

Nevertheless, we were also required to pray it in -- only because that's the WAY GOD WORKS...He partners with those who "rule and reign with Him."

Again, these prophecies were not of a political nature but a prophetic one...that is, these men and women of God heard God speak about God's OWN choice. And yes, again, according to Scripture, God does have a will -- a choice -- in matters of who will rule nations.

Sometimes, HE even appoints Kings and Presidents and then later takes them down...


Daniel 2:20-21
"Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them."


But in this case, since God has chosen to re-install, as King -- as President -- George W. Bush, we say to you and to your family, Mr. President, "GRACE TO YOU!"

And to Senator and Mrs. Kerry and your family, who worked so hard and yet bowed out so gracefully, we say also to all of you, "GRACE TO YOU! And Blessings beyond Measure! You too, matter to us! And you matter to God!"
