"Expect the Blessings of God to Overtake You!"

God Has an Inheritance for You

God is ultimately a God of blessing. He does not want to operate harshly upon His creation. He created you and I, and everyone in this earth, so that He could be a doting Father to us. He is a good God who provides beautifully for His children, giving us good gifts, and He wants to give us an inheritance. Psalm 47:4 says, "He will choose our inheritance for us..."

I live within the inheritance of the Lord. His abundance in my life is something that I now expect because He loves me, and I can feel it. I have seen Him increase me time and time again in many ways. When my enemies come against me, He subdues them. This has happened many times, and I am stronger as a result.

A Dream Along the River Nile

About five months ago, I had a dream where I saw myself 20-25 years into the future. I was on a cruise ship that looked like it was cruising the River Nile. I have not been to the Nile yet, but in my dream, it was like I was there. The weather was beautiful, and the sides of the river were very fertile. I could see the reeds in the water and there were people standing all around.

Suddenly, I saw a boy pop up among the reeds; he was a vibrant, beautiful boy. He looked like my third son, who's name is Isaac, the "son of promise." He had an energy that made me very happy that he belonged to my clan.

The Blessings of God

When I awoke, the Scriptures below came into my heart:

"But now listen, Jacob, My servant, Israel, whom I have chosen. This is what the Lord says—He who made you, who formed you in the womb, and who will help you:

"Do not be afraid, Jacob, My servant, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring, and My blessing on your descendants. They will spring up like grass in a meadow, like poplar trees by flowing streams. Some will say, 'I belong to the Lord'; others will call themselves by the name of Jacob; still others will write on their hand, 'The Lord's,' and will take the name Israel." I knew that the blessings of God were manifesting in my life so that my children's children would be blessed. I have pursued God and therefore know that His blessings, and His Word, must manifest in my life. I do not accept poverty in my life. In the years that I have served Jesus, my personal wealth has increased. He has shown me what to do, and as I have stepped into His plans, my life has benefited very much. I also expect my children to be blessed. Each and every one of them will be the heads and not the tails. God will increase them in their generations.

Happy Bar Mitzvah!

A few days ago, my oldest son Joseph turned 13 years old, and to celebrate we did a Bar Mitzvah. No, as far as I know I am not Jewish, but I am a part of the one new man in Christ. I did not have a messianic priest involved. I have been my son's teacher and he has learned and understands the Word of God very well. He is already preaching it to thousands of people online at his age.

I wanted to gather our family and his close friends together. I also had some elders from our community gather around him and speak words of encouragement and blessing into his life. One of the things that I saw for my son was a very blessed home in his future, so I declared it over Him.

Declarations of Life: Claiming His Blessings

The power of our words brings life or death (Proverbs 18:21). The declarations that we make should be in line with God's Word, and so I declare abundance and prosperity over my family and I declare that they will live righteous and obedient lives unto Christ. (Photo via Pixabay)

If you are in Christ, expect to live a blessed life. You should not expect poverty and sickness. These things are in the world, but you and I are above this world. We are seated in heavenly places in Christ. The place that Jesus reigns from in Heaven has no sickness and no sorrow.

Begin to declare that what is in Heaven will come into the earth. Declare that your poverty will be broken. Declare that you and your family will have joy unspeakable, filled with glory. Declare that you will be free and that you will not fear death. Declare that your family will be blessed. Declare that those who come against you will run from you because God is your defender. He is the defender of the weak.

I declared over my son what I saw in his future and I expect it to grow. The word that I spoke into him was like a seed, a good seed, and my boy is good soil. He loves Jesus with all his heart. He is strong and loving in Christ. I expect to see great things manifest from his life. I still expect great things to manifest from my own life. I expect my children's children will be leaders and rulers who co-reign with the Lord in the earth. They shall manifest the Kingdom on Earth as it is in Heaven.

I pray for you today. I wanted you to hear my thoughts so that you can have the same hope for your household. I expect God to bless you and increase you and make His face shine upon you. You will do great things because He is your God. I expect your children to pop up like reeds on the River Nile. They will have vitality and energy flowing through their lives that will touch the nations.
