"God is Moving the Furniture in His House once again... NOW There is Indoor and Outdoor Furniture!"

People have asked me, "Bill, what seemed to activate your prophetic gifting and launch you into the ministry?" I tell them... "Trouble!"

Other people have asked me, "What seemed to bring about your maturity in the Lord to hear Him more clearly?" I tell them... "Double Trouble!"

The worst things that have happened in my life that I thought would do me in, have actually catapulted me and given me an international ministry!

I was shaken to the core when a year and a half ago the attack against my heart came and the doctors were giving me a heart catherization. My heart had stopped beating during that procedure on the table and they used those paddles to shock my heart back to beat again. At times I have wondered where certain insights or revelations have come from since then, but it seems easier to hear the Lord when you are sensitized through suffering.

Hold the Revelation!

Recently after receiving a fresh word from the Lord, I asked Him, "Father, where did that word or revelation come from? How was I able to hear that?" I sensed the Lord answered me, "Bill, I put that revelation inside of you when your heart stopped on that table that day. Would you like to have some more revelation?" I said, "Jesus, put a hold on the revelation for now... please!"

But most of my spiritual growth came by staying in the same church for thirty years. For some reason when others were 'called' to leave and go elsewhere, the Lord forgot to call me! I had to stay in my church after the honeymoon was over. I had to stick it out through storms, hurricanes, and shakings. Once I started to leave on my own and the Lord warned me... "Don't you leave! I don't want you messing up any other church!" I stayed so long I had roots growing down through the church floor into the very foundation of that Rock Christ Jesus. After thirty years my roots have grown so deep that nothing moves me now. I have seen it all, heard it all, and now I have an anchor that holds and grips the Solid Rock. Have you discovered that marriage and church was not created to make you happy? It was created to conform you to the image of Jesus Christ.

I have noticed that when God moves the furniture of His House around is when we become vulnerable to the enemy. How many of you have ever gone into someone else's house and said to them, "I don't like the way you have arranged your furniture in your house so I am leaving!" Sounds like we are thinking of the furniture more than the owner of the house. If we really love the owner of the house, we will accept the way he arranges the furniture. And you will even respect and learn to love the furniture and its arrangement for it is a reflection of the owner himself! The furniture is actually a part of the owner himself. He owns the furniture too. The furniture is not ours. I sense the Lord saying, "Hands off the furniture please... Let go of My furniture but never let go of your relationships with each another. When you do, that is when you let go of Me!"

I see us as the House of the Lord. I see each person as a fine piece of royal furniture of a King who lives here. I see Jesus in each one of you. God is arranging and moving some of you around inside of His House.

Don't Move the Furniture!

But let Him place you. Don't try to move yourself. I have never seen a piece of furniture try to move itself... for it doesn't know where it is supposed to be... only the owner and builder of the house knows where each piece should go! Don't try to move any other furniture either for you may scratch it or damage it.

Learn to love and respect God's furniture wherever He places it. He will honor you for it. I sense the Father saying, "I'm not arranging my furniture to please you. I'm arranging it to please Me! I have never heard of one piece of furniture telling another piece where it should be in the house. That's the owner's decision. Furniture can't talk... that's an added blessing. Has your sofa ever told you when you decide to move it? 'Don't do that. Don't move me over there. I don't want to be around that piece of furniture... it looks so old, it must be an antique!' Or 'I am so much older and wiser and built better so don't move me next to that new piece of furniture for it doesn't look like it knows anything next to me!'

If we have a problem with the furniture, we will have a problem with the owner... God Himself!

I am discovering more and more that, just like in our own homes, God has some outdoor furniture. In fact I am sensing that much of God's furniture was made to be outside the church doors for the lost to find rest and comfort in. Whether the furniture is inside or outside the House, the furniture is still His... for God's House is in each piece of furniture! If you are discovering that you are a piece of outdoor furniture, make sure you stay in close relationship with the inside of the House. Remember you are a part of God's House and when the storms and winds come you will need the protection of the rest of the House to cover you.

I can't tell you of the devastation in thirty years that I have seen over church splits and people leaving churches because of things they didn't agree with. Often children inherit the hurts from their parents and turn away from God. I have seen divorces come form the roots of bitterness of church hurts. I have seen people die and even suicides.

Paul says, "For this reason, many are sick and asleep (die ahead of their time) because you are not discerning the Body of Christ."

The furniture is not ours... "Hands off the furniture please."

I asked the Father, "Lord, was I created to be an indoor or outdoor piece of furniture?" I heard the Father say, "Yes!"
