In a time of prayer for the nation of England recently, I received a deep impression from the Lord that England is without an identity, and that she is searching for who she truly is in the Lord's eyes. In a vision, I saw the Lord and a brother whom I recognized as a respected leader in England. The brother approached the Lord, and he lay prostrate before Him, and he reached out and held on to the Lord's ankles as the most beautiful liquid prayers cascaded down his cheeks.

With all tenderness, the Lord lifted the brother to His feet, and He held out His hands and spoke "See, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands". The Lord took the man by the hand, holding him in His loving embrace, and then lifted his chin and with deep affection looked into the man's eyes and said:

YOU, ENGLAND, HAVE WEPT MANY TEARS

"My son, search no longer for who you [England] are in Me, for it is time to rise up into your destiny. You have wept many tears and walked in the place of brokenness and contrition for the sins of your forefathers. In humility you have hidden your face from Me, respectful of My Holiness. But see, it is time to seek My face, to permit Me to take you by the hand and to lead you out and to lead you on to greater Glory. It is time to enter into a new experiential level of My Grace, My Grace that is for now, for I am about to bestow My great favor upon your land and I shall raise a standard of Righteousness within you and upon you.

A FOSTER FATHER TO THE NATIONS

Where once your ancestors revealed only a father of fear, you [England] will now receive My impartation to be foster fathers to the nations - to Israel and to all the nations of the earth. I will endue you with a deep revelation of My Father's heart and with this, you will impart My great Love to the lost and you will see many sons come to Glory. I am raising up a generation of spiritual mothers and fathers in you [England] and you will reveal Me as Father to the fatherless in many lands. You will no longer demonstrate tyranny, for all eyes will be drawn by My tenderness displayed in you [England] and the Father's compassion will be poured out in great measure on you. No longer will you be remembered for murder, but lips shall lift praises to Me for the Mercy you will release in My name. The rose has been crushed and in the crushing the fragrance of brokenness rises to heaven as a sweet sacrifice.

Take My hand, seek My Face, swathe yourself in My Grace and together we will win and love the lost.

"See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders. Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers." Is 49:22,23
