THE LORD IS SEARCHING TO AND FRO FOR CONSECRATED VESSELS

Recently, at a conference in the north of Canada, the Lord showed me a vision of a believer. The Lord had the earlobe of the believer in His hand and He had just pierced it. (Explanation Note: In the Bible, when a slave master pierced the lobe of his servant, it was a visible sign that that servant was surrendering his life in fullness to the service of that one master. From that moment on the slave was a "bond slave" -- i.e. committed to serving him alone.)

"I Am Looking For a People"

Then the Lord began to speak to my heart, and He said, "I am looking for a people who will be wholly consecrated to me and to my purposes. I am looking for a people who will not only receive the benefits of salvation, but that will enter into the sufferings of the cross and to the fellowship of the cross -- a people who will, like Christ, consider their lives as nothing to be grasped, but will willingly lay down their lives for my purpose and for my plan. For is it not through the fellowship of my sufferings that the kingdom has always been advanced? Was it not through the cross that the works of darkness were overthrown once and for all? For even in generations past there have been ones that considered their lives as nothing. They gave everything to advance my purposes in a land. They left status, comfort, relationships, homelands, and some did even lay down their lives (literally) to see my purposes advanced in their generation."

Willing Vessels Will Go Even Into Uncharted Land...

"And so, today, my eyes are searching to and fro throughout this generation seeking those whose hearts are wholly given over to me, who will consider their lives as nothing to be grasped, but will willingly lay it down for my purpose and for my plan," says the Lord. "My Spirit is again searching for ones that I might lay the mantle of my Spirit and my truth on to establish something of righteousness in this generation. I am seeking to again release a pioneering, missionary spirit upon such willing vessels that will go even into uncharted land in culture. "

"Who Will Pioneer for Me?"

"Who will pioneer with my righteousness and my word into the arts, media, political realm, education system, health system, business, and into all the areas of cultural influence?" says the Lord. "For it is my good pleasure to raise up ones who would begin to possess, for righteousness' sake, the very realms of society that the enemy has sought to possess with his hordes. But I, the Lord, am searching, searching, searching for those that will not only receive the benefits of salvation, but will enter into the the sufferings of the cross. For upon these ones, whom I can trust and whom have been called by my name, I will come and lay my mantle of truth and they will be sent with my authority -- for they have humbled themselves."

Then I saw fire -- I saw a purging fire coming on all those who will hear these words and respond in their hearts.
