Dream: The Door
On March 26, 2020, I had a dream with the name of Jesus being "The Door" – this was being highlighted to me on an exam for the purpose of promotion. On this exam, there were multiple-choice questions for choosing who Jesus was in this season: The Alpha and The Omega, The Great Shepherd, or The Door. I woke up out of this dream hearing myself repeat the correct answer for this exam by verbally declaring the name of Jesus as "The Door!"
"Then Jesus said to them again, 'Most assuredly, I say to you... I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved..." (John 10:7, 9 emphasis mine)
"For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries." (1 Corinthians 16:9 emphasis mine)
The Greek word for "door" in context to the above Scriptures, is defined as "a passageway, an entrance, a portal; 'an open door' is used of the opportunity of doing something." When Jesus announced Himself as "The Door" for people to pass through, I believe He was referring to a new Kingdom dynamic of light overcoming darkness through the saving grace of God.
As a result of walking through "The Door," a new day dawned for Believers that was filled with resurrection power and it opened the door for a personal, great awakening! Those in proximity to Jesus recognized Him as the Great Shepherd who gave entrance to new life for those who chose His ways and not their own (Matthew 7:13).
A new door is indeed opening. I believe this dream pertains to the Body of Christ as a whole. We are stepping over the threshold of the month of May and are now approaching Pentecost after having been through the most intense Passover season I can ever remember.
The Day of Pentecost marks an event where the Holy Ghost baptized the New Testament Church into a new era – an era of walking and functioning in His power (Acts 2:1-4). When the power of the Spirit of the Lord shook the door-posts of the Upper Room, everything shifted to comply with His will! Nothing stayed the same in "the house of the Lord" after a Holy Spirit invasion rocked all those in the Upper Room on the Day of Pentecost – 50 days after Passover. (Photo via Wallpaper Flare)
In the natural, and in the second heaven, there's a tremendous amount of turbulence disrupting the earth. This turbulence is manifesting in the news media (voices) and the nations. It is manifesting through violent weather patterns and the war between light and darkness (Heaven's army and the dragon), all for the purpose of the shaking and cleansing of God's House. I believe God is separating the sheep from the goats, and the precious from the vile (Matthew 25:33, Jeremiah 15:19).
The year 2020 has positioned us at a great and effective door for this new era, as Jesus – The Door – is front and center during this billion-soul harvest! The number 20 biblically means redemption. The number 20 also means a complete or perfect waiting period. "The Door" to this new era has certainly tested our ability to wait until the storm passes over for God to redeem the time for His end-time harvest to bear the entirety of her fruit.
As post-pandemic plans are surfacing, The Alpha and The Omega is in control! And Jesus, "The Door" to our future, is at His helm! He has prepared a people through the wilderness in this time, who have pursued Him in the secret place, with the sights and sounds of their exodus in view. The promotions the Father is releasing at this hour positions a remnant to shine in a new way not yet discovered by human minds or hands. We will recognize this remnant army marked by fire, strengthened by the wind of the Spirit, and as strong as war horses for overcoming the battles which lie ahead.
A new model for the 5-fold offices is arising for the days in which we live. Expect Pentecost this year to awaken the "sleeping from their slumber." Expect the womb of the cocoon to birth forth those who were hard-pressed and readied for a new era. Expect to see and to hear a new sound arrive. Expect the unexpected, for from the unexpected, the open door for a new remnant will appear! You were born for such a time as this (Esther 4:14).
A New Company of Prophets!
I was startled out of my sleep a few days ago by a new mantle being thrown over my shoulders. Just before I was awakened I was dreaming, and in my dream I made a remark about a locust which had landed on the face of a person who was with me. While I conversed with this person regarding the presence of these locusts in our midst, I watched boundary lines being adjusted and removed at the turning of a new season. (Photo via UIHere)
Elijah threw his mantle over the shoulders of Elisha upon commissioning him as his protege (1 Kings 19:19). John the Baptist ate locusts and wild honey as he emerged as a voice in the wilderness before the appearance and ministry of Jesus (Matthew 3:4). A face being highlighted in a dream is symbolic of one's identity, characteristics and features, while conveying a specific message significant to their image.
I believe this season has awakened a new company of prophets with the DNA of John the Baptist while carrying the spirit and power of Elijah. These new prophets are pure in their delivery and unprecedented in their power. Isolation has prepared them and discipline has refined them.
What's unusual about this new company of prophets is that they thrive in the fire while emanating a new glow of glory. They wield prayer in the spirit as warriors trained on the front lines of battle. They carry the burden of the Lord for repentance and a powerful anointing for restoration. They are rebuilders of the prophetic ministry and repairers of old apostolic structures.
Healing, signs and wonders will follow these end-time vessels because their true devotion is to the Lord! They are plumb-line sensitive and purity focused. They are compromise resistant and man-pleasing defiant. Keep your eyes open for these new ministers of the Lord! A mantle has dropped in the spirit. Watch for a turning back of the hearts of the disobedient toward the heart of the Lord (Luke 1:17)!
"'Behold, I will send My messenger, who will prepare the way before Me. Then the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple – the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight – see, He is coming,' says the LORD of hosts." (Malachi 3:1)
