For very obvious reasons, I am excited about the name "ELIJAH" moving to almost the top of the list. We started this list in 1997 and for a few months we called it, "The Prophetic Word List" but shortly thereafter, God had me rename it "THE ELIJAH LIST."
Notice the number "7" that Johnny refers to below and our beginning in 1997.
Even the most popular name now, "Noah," is a name that was prophetically given to me almost 30 years ago, a fact I have never told anyone.
You will all find great encouragement for yourself and for your nations as well. This word is NOT about me or us, but I am grabbing onto every scintilla of meaning from it that I can for myself.
Mostly this word is for the entire Body of Christ and about what God is both saying and doing on the earth – RIGHT NOW! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Significant revelation is often hidden in plain sight. Proverbs 25:2 says, "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings." Our privilege, as His royalty, is to search out treasures He has hidden. As you know, I like to search for hidden treasures. The events of the day are revealing these to be the "Days of Noah and Days of Elijah" but yet another significant trend has confirmed the highlighting of these two names.
Popularity of Baby Names: Noah #1 and Elijah #4
For years now, the Lord has given me insight into matters as He has me observe what names rise and fall in popularity. He recently had me look at the most popular names for boys in the United States and coming in at #1 for the first time ever was the name "Noah." A rapidly rising Elijah is #4 and is at its highest ever. Here is some history of these names and, in their history, I believe you'll see the revelation treasure.
In 1927, Noah was #101 in popularity for baby boy names. It did not break into the top 100 until 1968 when it hit #91 – right around the time of the Jesus Movement. Within 6 years in 1974, it was #46 which was quite a jump. In 2009, it made it to #20. It then bolted to #3 for each of President Trump's first 3 years. This year, as I already stated, it hit #1. An unprecedented flood of Noahs are being birthed into society in 2020. What a coincidence, huh?
Elijah has an ever-stronger leap from irrelevance to a trending name for newborns. In 1970, Elijah was at #596, and by 1977, it had jumped to #350 – after perhaps the effect of the Jesus Movement, but still hardly relevant. In 1995, right around the advent of the Toronto Renewal, Elijah broke 100 and went to #93. Within 5 years, in 2000, it was now #52. By 2010, it had jumped to #18. In President Trump's first year, it broke the top ten coming in at #9. Now in 2020, suddenly it's at #4 and at its highest ever. So, from #596 in 1970 to #4 in 2020. What a huge jump. This name is perhaps even more impressive when you consider that its alternative Biblical name of Elias has gone from #242 in 2000 to #49 in 2020. Add these together and Elijah is pushing Noah for the #1 spot. What might God be saying?
Days of Noah
So much of what is happening today is as transcendental as life in Noah's day. Noah was born to Lamech who lived until he was 777 years. Everything else about his life was filled with many 7s. Noah's ark and the flood occurs in Genesis 7. There were multiple 7-day waiting periods. There were 7 pairs of many of the animals. Genesis 7:17 tells us that the flood itself was from 40 days of intense rain that Noah and his family were "quarantined" in by. For most of us, our quarantine season was essentially 40 days, which is pretty much what the word quarantine means. Life was never the same after the flood and history marks a definitive before and after of the days of Noah. This is, I believe, our reality as well.
Many have prophetically seen the word "reset" for our day. It has happened. Genesis 7:19 in describing how high the waters went says, "Finally the water covered even the highest mountains on the earth." I believe this will bear out to be true of this season – with the mountains speaking into the 7 Mountains of society and the illegal principalities that have been there. We know that when the waters went down some, that the ark rested on Mt. Ararat which means "the curse reversed." This all happens during "the Days of Noah" that we are in. As you know, it is during his days that the rainbow first shows up and we hear the word "promise" attached to it. A Noah season takes us into seeing rainbows and experiencing promises from God. How appropriate.
Days of Elijah
My very first book on the 7 Mountains (The Seven Mountain Prophecy) was subtitled, "Unveiling the Coming Elijah Revolution." In 1 Kings 18, Elijah says to Ahab and the prophets of Baal and all the people, "Come to my mountain and let me show you who really is God" (paraphrased). When the fire of God hits the altars, the people cry out, "The Lord – He is God! The Lord – He is God!" or "Elijah! Elijah!" as that is what Elijah means in Hebrew.
These are the days of Elijah because these are the days that Baal and his false prophets are being confronted as hasn't been seen in generations. Baal is the god over sexual deviancy, over the killing of children (Moloch), over sex-trafficking, over pedophilia, and the god that is in league with Jezebel. Many to most of the main characters of the "deep state" are in actual intentional worship of this god. Epstein's island had a temple to Moloch in a prominent position and easily visible if you Google it.
You can't make this stuff up. How does the baby name Elijah suddenly jump out of obscurity to becoming one of the most popular? Who gets the word out that this is a "cool" name? Did celebrities suddenly popularize this rugged Old Testament prophet's name?
I marvel at how our God pulls these things off. Noah sees the waters rise to the top of the mountains and Elijah challenges the principality of the nation on the top of his Mount Carmel. Those were unique days and now these are unique days.
