You're Not Going to Believe Your Eyes!
In the upcoming days, we are NOT going to believe our eyes! During this last week, the Lord was showing me how we are going to move into a time of adoration which will lead us into sweet surrender unto Him. The Lord was magnifying to me a passage in the New Testament, and He showed me how the disciples' obedience opened the door as well as made provision for them:
"So Jesus said to them, 'Children, you do not have any fish, do you?' They answered Him, 'No.' And He said to them, 'Cast the net on the right-hand side of the boat and you will find a catch.' So they cast, and then they were not able to haul it in because of the great number of fish. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, 'It is the Lord.' So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put his outer garment on (for he was stripped for work), and threw himself into the sea. But the other disciples came in the little boat, for they were not far from the land, but about one hundred yards away, dragging the net full of fish.
"So when they got out on the land, they saw a charcoal fire already laid and fish placed on it, and bread. Jesus said to them, 'Bring some of the fish which you have now caught.' Simon Peter went up and drew the net to land, full of large fish, a hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not torn." (John 21:5-11 NASB)
I heard the Spirit of the Lord say that as we obey what doesn't make sense in the natural, we will step into the abundance of the Lord, into the supernatural. This has to do with everything that is around us. As we "cast our nets" for the salvation of our families, and for the healing of our bodies, we will be awakened to the reality of the Son of God!
I heard the Spirit of the Lord say that when we lay down our agendas, as we go low and place His way above our ways, we then allow the Lord to move in a way that brings not only results, but HIS KINGDOM onto the earth. It's really about placing every thought upon HIM, allowing Him to wrap His cloak around us so that we are hidden by Him in the clefts of the rock (Song of Songs 2:14). (Photo via Unsplash)
Her Obedience Brought Provision – This Is the Position of the Bride
Then, the Lord began to highlight this Scripture to me:
"So he arose and went to Zarephath, and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks; and he called to her and said, 'Please get me a little water in a jar, that I may drink.' As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, 'Please bring me a piece of bread in your hand.' But she said, 'As the LORD your God lives, I have no bread, only a handful of flour in the bowl and a little oil in the jar; and behold, I am gathering a few sticks that I may go in and prepare for me and my son, that we may eat it and die.'
"Then Elijah said to her, 'Do not fear; go, do as you have said, but make me a little bread cake from it first and bring it out to me, and afterward you may make one for yourself and for your son. For thus says the LORD God of Israel, "The bowl of flour shall not be exhausted, nor shall the jar of oil be empty, until the day that the LORD sends rain on the face of the earth."'
"So she went and did according to the word of Elijah, and she and he and her household ate for many days. The bowl of flour was not exhausted nor did the jar of oil become empty, according to the word of the LORD which He spoke through Elijah." (1 Kings 17:10-16 NASB)
The Lord is releasing miracles, signs and wonders in our midst. What you thought was something that was going to bring devastation, disappointment and hopelessness is literally CHANGING BEFORE YOUR EYES! (Photo via Pexels)
The Lord reminded me of the widow who was preparing to die with her son. She had only enough to feed herself and her son a meager meal when the prophet showed up and requested the last that she had. I am hearing the Spirit of the Lord saying that this is the time for us to trust in Him and to have faith like never before. This time is pivotal in the sense that it is a time of marking ourselves and letting go of the things that are tied to this world. There is a holy decree coming from Heaven that we shall live and not die!
We are in the midst of times where we are seeing our nation's markets go up and down. With this current virus, fear has tried to grip our country and the world with whispers of death and destruction. But the Spirit of the Lord is saying, "I have not sent the spirit of fear to you, for fear is NOT in Heaven."
The enemy is trying to exhaust you and me. The enemy is trying to lure us from our ROYAL place which is to be seated next to Jesus in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). The Spirit of the Lord is saying that He has not called us away from the holy habitation that we are to legislate from. And with this being said, I am seeing how the Lord is bringing us into a place of repentance and into a place where we are able to see Him face to face with all humility; where we are able to say unto Him, "Forgive us for placing other things, people, and places above the ALMIGHTY." This is the place where we have access to His heart and to the abundance of the Lord.
