"How Jesus Is Reframing and Resetting Our Worldview"

Wayland Henderson

Intro from Phyllis Ford:

Steve ShultzWayland Henderson is someone I see as a son in the Gospel. In 2010, he and his wife came to the Dallas/Fort Worth area with a powerful word of revelation and awesome downloads concerning revival. He and Jeanette joined their hearts and minds with others in our surrounding area.

As we gathered together, the Lord formed in us an Apostolic Prophetic HUB. They have traveled together with our team to various regions in Colorado, California and throughout the Texas region. They love ministering to many who are hungry for prophetic fire, glory and revival. They also minister to groups of Millennials locally and in California. The Henderson's are prophetic vessels and have founded Greater Works Ministries, along with their own school of ministry. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

As I was in prayer one morning, I went into a vision where the Lord Jesus pulled me into His body; I was walking in Him, seeing the world through His eyes and from His perspective. It was only a few minutes, but it was profoundly impactful. During this experience, the Lord revealed to me that His Body, the Ekklesia, must see the world through His eyes, and shift their worldview to be reframed and reset to His.

We are in the midst of a reset and Hebrews 11 holds a key that will help us navigate through it.

The Eyes of Faith

Hebrews 11:1-3, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible."

The Greek word that the writer of Hebrews uses to describe faith is "pistis," which can be translated as "assurance or belief." It also means "moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God)."

Hebrews 1:3 talks about the "person" (or "hupostasis") of the Son of God: "Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person (hupostasis), and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high." (Hebrews 1:3 KJV, emphasis mine)

Hupostasis: "a support, substance, steadiness, assurance. For the Believer, hupostasis ('title of possession') is the Lord's guarantee to fulfill the faith He inbirths."

Faith is the result of encountering the revelation of the person of Jesus Christ. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). (Photo via Pixabay)

Though the Bible says we walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), this does not mean we walk blind. We receive spiritual insight as we gaze into the revelation of Jesus. We look with hindsight through His unfolding revelation in Scripture and with foresight as we taste of the good Word and see the power of the Kingdom age to come.

The Blueprint of the Son

A biblical example of this is Moses as he receives instruction for the Tabernacle on Mount Sinai. The Bible says that when he looked into the heavenly pattern on Mount Sinai in preparation for building the Tabernacle, he looked into the form and likeness of the True Tabernacle.

Exodus 25:40, "And see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain."

The Hebrew word for "pattern" is "tabnith," which can mean "a model, pattern, structure, form, similitude or likeness." It is used several times in Scripture in the context of "looking in a form or likeness of something," and also derives from the root word "banah," which means "to build" as well as "to obtain children."

Moses looked into the blueprint of the "likeness of the Son," who is the True Tabernacle. It was the Word that became incarnate as the "tabernacle" among us, according to John the apostle. The writer of Hebrews gives us insight when they wrote that Moses counted the riches of Christ greater than the reproach of Egypt (Hebrews 11:23-25).

The book of Hebrews also proclaims that it is "by faith the elders obtained a good testimony," and by faith, "worlds were framed by the word of God" (Hebrews 11:1-3). As we looked into the revelation of the Son, we begin to be changed into the very image we see.

The Lord has prepared a remnant that have gazed into the eyes of Jesus and have been ruined for the normal. He has transformed their hearts through the fire of His presence like Isaiah when he declared, "...I am undone...for my eyes have seen the King..." (Isaiah 6:5). Jesus has brought them into the fellowship of His death, reframing their worldview so they can become witnesses of His resurrection and the first fruits of a new era of Kingdom reformation. He is preparing the Body, the Ekklesia, to tabernacle in and move through to spread the culture of the Kingdom.

We Are Being Reframed and Reset

The Greek translation for the word "framed" in Hebrews 11:3 is "katartizo" which means "to prepare, adjust, mend or restore." It is the word Greeks used to describe setting a broken bone or popping a dislocated joint back into place to bring proper healing and alignment. "Katartizo" is also the root to the Greek word "equip" in Ephesians 4:12, which describes the function of the apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors and teachers – to equip the saints for the work of the ministry.

As we gazed into the revelation and blueprint of the Son, He is resetting and reframing how we function personally and corporately in His Body. As we look into His image, He is removing dysfunction so we can effectively function as "lively stones" in the spiritual house of God.

We are in a Kingdom reset, yet it will not be comfortable for many. The voice of the Lord is sounding from Heaven and shaking everything that is out of alignment. That same voice is sounding as we look into His face and abide in His presence. His thundering voice of reform will cause every Kingdom citizen who is out of alignment to be snapped back into place as a bone that has been dislocated.

Our personal reset will be in direct correlation to our assignment. The reset will flow out of abiding in His presence as He reveals Himself as the Light that brings order and alignment. I'm not simply speaking of being aligned with people, but being first aligned properly in Him so that we can be properly aligned with each other.

It's a reset. We will discover the areas of our dislocation and be reset. A reset will come in our walk as well as our ways so that we do not dilute and pollute the flow of His glory as we build according to the pattern of the Son of God.
