I have known Kiwanda Redner for 15 years. She and her husband were the pastors of my church in Kinburn, Ontario, Canada where I rededicated my life to Christ. They stewarded a wonderful revival in the Ottawa Valley and have recently transitioned into full-time itinerant ministry.
Kiwanda is a strong prophetic voice. I have seen her come under the power of God and begin to prophesy, and as she did, atmospheres and lives began to shift. She is a woman of great faith and a powerful intercessor.

"From my distress I called upon the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me in a large place. The Lord is for me; I will not fear; what can man do to me?" (Psalm 118:5-6 NASB)
My husband Mark and I have recently come into a new place in our lives. Within 2 months we shifted out of a pastoring position we had been in for 15 years, and at the same time, each one of our children also transitioned – leaving home, engagement, moving away, and starting school. We had no more structure, limited supports, and no income. In the natural, it was not comfortable and even created some fear because there were so many unknowns. We tried to hold onto anything familiar, just to have some sense of security, but discovered we could not go back!
God had said, "I am making ALL THINGS NEW!" Why? Because we cried out, because we asked for the heart of God, because we wanted to submit to the ways of the Spirit. We just didn't realize what NEW would mean when we asked. We did not know it would mean EVERYTHING was going to change! New ways, new thoughts, new processes, new relationships, and new footprints to follow.
As we cried out to God, HE set us in a large place – the nation and the nations! Holy Spirit spoke to us and said, "For you to move into the new, I am breaking all attachments that are not of Me." God revealed to us how small our world had become as we had unknowingly become attached to our own abilities, the world's structure, religious thinking, relationships, influence, gifts and responsibilities more than the ways of God. We were humbled, we repented and placed it all on the altar before God. We thought we knew what to do, and how to act, but now that we were positioned in complete surrender, we came to know that we did not know where to go or what to do on our own! Everyday we said the same thing, "I don't know what to do today but, Holy Spirit, You do."
The beautiful part of the journey was that we could now see how our old attachments had held us in unbelief, fear, and a false sense of security. They were all broken off as we cried out for more of Holy Spirit. He set us free from attachments that had held us captive, and placed us in a large place with so much more freedom to BE who God created us to be, and to walk into the expanse of dreams and abundance He set before us.
It Is Time to Experience the New!
TODAY is a time of transition into NEW for the Body of Christ. There is freedom in the NEW, it's time to experience it! He is setting each one in a large place, if we are willing to surrender. This transition is not just a small change in daily situations, but a whole life transformation, because it is a new ERA. We need to be prepared as it is the NOW time for the people of God to ARISE and take their position.
"For He says, 'At the acceptable time I listened to you, and on the day of salvation I helped you.' Behold, now is 'the acceptable time,' behold, now is 'the day of salvation.'" (2 Corinthians 6:2 NASB)
God has an agenda for families, regions, and nations that require us to be aligned with His heart, ready to move, with NO ATTACHMENTS!
"For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea." (Habakkuk 2:14 NASB)
In the NEW, there will be responsibilities and structure, but it will not be the same as the old because that mindset has been stripped away, as we establish ourselves in the mind of Christ. For we HAVE the mind of Christ!
"Someone living on an entirely human level rejects the revelations of God's Spirit, for they make no sense to him. He can't understand the revelations of the Spirit because they are only discovered by the illumination of the Spirit. Those who live in the Spirit are able to carefully evaluate all things, and they are subject to the scrutiny of no one but God. "Let Go of the Familiar and Hold onto Me"
Today the Holy Spirit is saying:
"I have set you in this large place. I have heard your cry. Why are you afraid? Why do you fear? You asked, and I responded! I have so much more for you than you have ever imagined or dreamed. You have not even been able to imagine and dream because of the attachments. Your world became limited as your focus was on what YOU could do, who is around YOU and what YOU know. Your security was found in YOU, not ME.
"I say it again, 'I heard your cry!' I heard the longing of your heart. It resonates with My heart. That is why I set you in the large place. But to step into the fullness of the new, you have to let go of all the old attachments.
"Take time with Me and let Me show you the way. Now is the time to let go of all the familiar and hold onto only Me. Yes, it is unknown, but only to you – not to ME. I am your refuge and strength. It is a LARGE place, bigger than you have known, free of attachments of the world, ready for you to explore WITH Me.
