In the Spirit I saw a word being written across the
nations of the earth...W-A-I-T! I sensed the Lord saying, "As you wait upon Me,
your 'wait' will turn into an eternal 'w-e-i-g-h-t' of My Glory that will begin
to descend upon the whole earth!"
I sensed the Lord speaking to me recently in commercial airline terms concerning
His people and their ministries. He spoke the word, "Holding Pattern,"
like an
airplane circling around in circles until the "air traffic control" on the ground
signals it in for a landing. Does it seem like you are going around in circles?
Strong Confirmation
Two days after receiving this word, I flew to another state for some meetings.
As we began our initial descent for landing, the pilot came on the intercom
announcing,
"Ground control has just put us in a 'Holding Pattern' until further notice!" The
same thing happened on my flight coming home. ( strong confirmation! )
I sense there are many ministries 'up in the air' right now seemingly going in circles,
wondering why they are not being given permission from 'ground control' to bring
their ministry in to arrive at their destination. I sense the Lord saying, "You
are not the only airplane or ministry in My Kingdom. There are other ministries
below you on the ground that need to take off before you can land." As you continue
to wait and circle, you will be clearing an opening in the heavens for these ministries
on the ground to take off, staying out of their way as they gain altitude. Only
as these ministries take off, will the ground below you be cleared for your ministry
to come in for landing into God's destination.
Air Traffic Controllers
"There are 'air traffic controllers' on the ground who you feel are in control and
are delaying and holding you up from coming into My Destiny for you. You must understand
that I am in control! Be careful not to get upset or angry with the 'air traffic
controllers' in your life at this season. A wrong spirit towards those in positions
of authority can be dangerous at this point in time. Lack of respect towards 'air
traffic controllers' could prolong your 'holding pattern!' You must pray for those
on the ground who have the authority to bring you in for a safe landing. In a way,
your life is in their hands. Pray that they bring you in safe and sound."
Many ministries in this 'holding pattern' seem to have their own agenda and time
of arrival carved in cement for touch down. ( I think I heard God laugh at these
plans! ) Some even had God's agenda but were frustrated why the Lord seemed to not
be giving them much attention in spite of them being huge 747's with many passengers
on board who were getting so hungry in the waiting process that there was nothing
left on board to feed them. Divine hunger was gripping the pilots (leaders) also,
who were feeling helpless to feed the passengers (sheep) any longer. I sensed an
angel whispering, "This 'Holding Pattern' is working! The people are becoming totally
desperate and helpless!"
"Keep Circling!"
I sense the Lord saying, "Many are tired of being in My 'Holding Pattern' and going
around in circles." Many are being tempted to jump from their plane or ministry.
I heard the Heavenly Pilot speaking loud and clear, "No parachuting at this time...keep circling!"
I sensed the Lord saying, "Tell these ministries that the reason why they are seemingly
being overlooked individually right now is because I am not really focusing on individual
ministries at this time...I've got the whole world on My mind! I am in the process
of bringing the whole earth into alignment and into My purposes. The reason why
I don't seem to be focusing on you and your "ministry" right now is because I am
looking throughout the whole earth to find a ministry who is willing to look not
just at its own needs, but to look to the needs of other ministries, to connect
and network with them, preferring and esteeming one another...For I am moving corporately
in the earth this hour with corporate vision!"
It is very important what you do during this 'holding pattern'.
The devil is telling you that you are just going in circles, but the Lord says,
"We are right on schedule! Wait! While I have you in My 'holding pattern', I am
holding you! Many think the enemy or other people are holding them up from accomplishing
My plans, but it is I who am holding you up in My arms, and I kinda like it! You
are not going in circles without purpose. This is your moment to worship Me and
dance with the King in high places!" (When you hold and embrace someone when you
dance, it appears like you are going in circles, but I guarantee you something is
happening.) There is intimacy taking place. Try slow dancing with your wife, holding
her tightly, and see if you don't do more than go in circles. When you dance with
the One who sits upon the circle of the earth, who cares if you go in circles? You
are suppose to! You just might forget about ever landing on earth. You begin to
realize you are
seated together with Him in Heavenly places. This is how Heaven views our 'holding
pattern'.
When you are dancing in circles with the King, you are dancing circles around the
enemy and confusing him!
In your waiting, go ahead and worship and love on Him. God is waiting for you to
do just that. It's almost like I hear a "referee angel" in heaven, blowing a whistle
throughout the earth, decreeing the word of the Lord, "Time out! I must have worship!
Earth can't go on without worshiping Me! Please let Me hold you in My arms. I promise
you it will cause Me to fill the whole earth with My Glory!"
The Sweetest Song
May 1st my oldest daughter got married. I had mixed emotions walking her down the
aisle that day. My most cherished moment of the wedding came at the reception when
they introduced the song for the father of the bride to dance with her. I honestly
didn't want to stop holding her on that dance floor!
I sense Heaven is introducing its sweetest song right now and announcing, "It's
the moment for the Father of the Bride to dance with her."
I promise you, you will not mind His 'holding pattern' or going in circles with
Him!
