For those who are new to the prophetic--God often gives a word to a "prophetic voice" YEARS before something occurs. Only at a given time, does He have this person bring this word forth. Many prophets are accused of being "false" because they give a word "at the wrong time" --not because the word itself is wrong (though their accusers usually don't understand that). It is not uncommon for prophetic people to see a specific word and believe it's for right now, when it may be 10 years away. The word below is both: for the time it was given, and for now. The reason it is brought forth now is that current events in the news have suddenly become an "emergency" in Austria. Several years ago I had a vision of Austria, and the Lord told me to pray for the believers in Austria to be alert and awake - and to pray for their nation.
The Vision:
I saw several youths of about 18-20 years old. They were playing a game and were on a mountain. It was very green and the sky was blue.
In the right hand corner of the sky appeared a very small dark cloud. They didn't notice - it was so small. As they continued with their game the cloud got a little bigger, but still it was small. It seemed hardly worth noticing.
After a while the cloud grew bigger and although the youths glanced at it, it still seemed unimportant, they continued with the game.
A while later the cloud was bigger still and they looked at it- but then turned away again to the game.
Then after another while it was bigger still and obviously growing. As it grew bigger and bigger it began to take up a good part of the sky. They became alarmed and started shouting at the cloud. It still continued to grow bigger. Then as the shouting hadn't done anything, they picked up stones and small rocks, and threw them at the cloud. The stones had no affect upon the cloud at all and soon it was covering most of the sky.
As they realized that what they were doing was not affecting the cloud at all, they then knelt down in desperation and put their hands in the air and began to call upon the Lord.
Austria - interpretation. I believe the Lord showed me that the dark cloud represented the Nazi spirit. The youths were distracted with enjoying themselves. Although there were signs that things were happening in the spirit that weren't good, they didn't consider it of any real danger.
And so the spirit had opportunity to gain strength. The shouting - represented complaining, and the stones represented "words." When both the complaining and "words" failed then they turned to the Lord.
I don t believe this is an inevitable thing, but a word from the Lord to pray now - to take seriously the small signs you see - don t be distracted and ignore them.
15 years ago the Holy Spirit told me that the Nazi Spirit was making plans to make Austria its headquarters. Lets pray for Austria and join with out brothers and sisters there to pray for this beautiful nation.
