WORD FOR THE CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE OF SCOTLAND AND THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH

Dear Steve This is the second word that I felt quickened to share with you. It was given during a time of fasting in November of 1999, and I recorded the vision and prayer time/prophecy on audio tape. It was specifically for the children and young people of Scotland, but it is also very relevant to young people world-wide. We are planning a nation-wide tour of Scotland from 7-13 April 2000, where we believe the Holy Spirit will pour out His Presence and Power through the ministry of our young people, who are being joined by a team of praying youngsters from Australia. The Tour is called "Take the Land" and children and young people will lead all of the meetings.

TAKE THE LAND VISION, PROPHECY, PRAYER 7.11.99

THE VISION

I was shown a huge mountain with many levels on it, and I saw that lots of children and young people were gathering around its base. The gathering was quickly expanding and there appeared to be no access point for the children to move from the base onto the higher levels of the mountain. I sensed a growing restlessness among the young people, who looked at the mountain with such intense desire to climb into the higher purposes of God.

On the mountain itself stood many adults, all of whom were busily engaged in speaking to each other, but were totally oblivious to the huge number of children that were appearing at the base of the mountain. While the adults were busy with each other, some of the children fixed their eyes on the top of the mountain and began to climb. The cliff face was extremely sheer and dangerous, but they set their faces like flint and looked towards Jesus. Their hands were torn on the rock face as they sought clefts, but in tenderness, I saw the Lord illumine the places in the rock where they could place their feet and hands. The Lord was with His children. The adults had become a stumbling block to the little ones on the mountain, and I felt the Father's wrath at the condition of the mountain, which represented His Church.

A SHAKING ON THE MOUNTAIN AND TREMORS ON THE EARTH

The Father sent a shaking on the mountain and in tremors on the earth, and the angels were released and began circuiting the mountain. The young people were hidden in the Glory, assisted by the angelic host. Just as Moses was hidden in the rock, so were these children and young people who had been holding on for dear life to the cliff face. As the Glory of God passed by, their faces were transformed with the radiance of Christ.

In the shaking some of the adults were taken off the mountain, and these represented adults who would not acknowledge the place children and young people have within the army of God. The Spirit impinged those adults who remained on the mountain and they fell to their faces, in deep repentance for their part in holding back the little ones. The Spirit worked a deep and mighty work of repentance and restoration and I heard Him speak:

PROPHECY

"I will return the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the Father, and on this mountain I will bring a shaking and I will remove every obstacle from the footpaths of My children. See, I will create a Way, a clear way for My children to climb, to walk into the higher purposes that I have for them.

For I am raising up my Enoch's, from amongst the smallest and the weakest I am preparing My Joshua's to take the land, My Joshua's to take the land, and they shall break forth clad in the mighty array of My Holiness, and they shall be clad experientially in My Righteousness, and they shall gird themselves around with the purity of My Truth, and they shall carry aloft shields of faith that are no longer withheld from them, for they shall be uplifted by the prayers of the saints and they shall raise heavenward the Sword of the Spirit as the anointing is released among them.

A MIGHTY ARMY

And they shall march forth a mighty army, and their war cry shall echo throughout heaven and earth as they are released into their destiny. And I shall shake this mountain, says the Lord, and release faith to My children and the immovable misconceptions of your mind will melt away, they will melt away as My Glory is released; they will melt away as the adults come in humility before Me. Yes, I will bring restoration, says the Lord, to this land where broken relationships have severed divine connections that I have prepared since eternity.

But see I am sending those from outwith your nation, I will use those within your nation and I am sending you envoys from the nations of the earth who will stand with you in this day and you will gird yourself up with My Truth and you will release a mighty army in this land.

THE CHILDREN WILL CARRY THE ANOINTING

The children shall carry the anointing, the children will carry the anointing and that which is immovable shall be shaken, that which is not of Me will be removed. This is a new day; this is a new day. My Enoch's and My Joshua's shall take the land and they will know an intimacy with Me and they shall know a holiness that has hidden from My people for many decades, a holiness and a purity but they shall not be alone, for without the undergirding of your faith, without your release, they are held in prisons, they are held and bound, their hands are bound by the false boundaries My Church has placed upon them. I will tolerate this for no longer. No longer, says the Lord, will My children be held captive, it is time for My children to be released into their kingdom destinies and to march forward and to take this land for My Name." Amen

A TOOL TO BRING DOWN THE WALLS

This word was given, I believe, primarily as a tool to bring down the walls of division between the generations and to bring restoration, release, forgiveness and wholeness to the whole Body.

I have a personal mandate for repentance towards the younger generation from the older and the Lord has spoken to me of being a bridge between the younger and the older generations. While there is a place for the older generation to repent to the younger generation for not releasing them, for being condescending, for rejecting and ignoring them etc. there is, of course, a place for the younger generation to respond and to repent to the older generation for their part in walking in rebellion and for not wanting to accept the mantle of their forefathers.

My heart aches to see the dividing walls come down between the generations, for repentance, reconciliation and restoration - for it is the WHOLE Church, to the WHOLE world, with the WHOLE gospel! We need their youth and vitality and their zeal and energy and passion; they need our wisdom and experience and our faith and our discernment. They need spiritual mothers and fathers who will come alongside them and bless them and release them, nurture them, and pray for impartation and anointing and they need our counsel. With these things in mind, this was my prayer that followed the prophecy, it is with all of my heart that I pray other adults will join me in praying for the dividing walls to come down.

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE

". . . I realize afresh our sin, as I realize once more my own part in all this - not only with my own children, but also with the children of Scotland. I bless you Father, that you will not be confined by our human misconceptions. I bless you Lord, for the season of Grace that has been upon the church. I bless you for your patience Lord, with a hard-hearted people who pay lip service to children. Thank you for the revelation that is coming, indeed, that is upon your Church in this nation - that children hold equal status in Your Kingdom. And I thank you Lord, that you are going to make that a reality to so many more.

I thank you that we are in strategic times and that things are changing and that you have prepared apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, miracle workers, administrators. There are awesome seeds of the five-fold ministry that you have already planted deep within the hearts of many, many children and young people, and I thank you Lord, that children as young as 3 and 4 are going to be used again in this revival and they are going to speak forth your anointed Truth and we are going to see children and young people move in this revival under a mighty, mighty anointing. They will go forth with the Great Commission and they shall preach the Kingdom of God, they shall have prophetic revelation and they will be imparted with a power to cast out demons, in Your name Lord, they will be empowered to heal the sick, they will be empowered to raise the dead, for they have equal status in your Kingdom.

(Deep travail) Oh Lord Jesus, forgive us. Forgive us for our complacency and apathy and our downright denial of the rights of the children. Forgive us for sectioning them off, forgive us for babysitting them. Forgive us for denying their validity as children of the Most High, for there is no junior version of your Holy Spirit. Forgive us for the shackles we have placed upon them, and forgive us for doubting you Father.

Forgive us for the sin of denying Jesus in them. Forgive us for the sin of withholding the fullness of Your Spirit from them through our disbelief. Spirit of God we ask that you come with a mighty axe and slay the monster of disbelief in your people. We give you permission to come Holy Spirit and to winnow and to cleanse us of our misconceptions. And we choose to walk in the Truth, and to stand with our young people and to release them Lord into your higher purpose, to the Great Commission and to the callings you have placed before them. Thank you for your Grace and your Mercy Lord that covers our inadequacies. We accept forgiveness and we want to be used to release this army of young people. For you have ordained your praise on the lips of children and infants because of the enemy and in order to silence the foe and the avenger, and we break the silence over our young people, we break the spirit of death over our young people and we release and impart your Life.

We release them to be mighty vessels of your reconciliation and your restoration. To be the five-fold ministry of revival and we receive, in faith, Lord that you are calling out our young people for your great glory, Lord Jesus.

Come Holy Spirit, come. Come, Holy Spirit, come. Fall upon your people; fall upon your children. Lord they have been humbled and you are promising to exalt them, for that is what you say in your Word (Humble yourself before the Lord and He will lift you up Jas 4:10)

Exalt them Lord, as we exalt Your Name to the highest place, for you are truly the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord, and we declare Your Glory over our nations and we speak release to our young people this day in the name and the authority of Jesus Christ, they shall move forward with a new revelation of the Blood of Calvary, yes, Lord, the Blood of Calvary. We release them Lord, to you in Jesus mighty name - THE SONS AND THE DAUGHTERS OF SCOTLAND - COME FORTH, ARISE A MIGHTY ARMY! COME FORTH, ARISE A MIGHTY ARMY. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
