Kevin Paul Stephens ministry is overseen by John L. Moore, a writer and prophetic voice for The Elijah List. The Lord commissioned Kevin and his wife to begin a home church in November. God has called them to the Denver area and to the nations.

Kevin is 40 years old and has been living in Colorado for 26 years. Born in Pasadena, California, Kevin has been a Christian since age 9 - was called at age 12 (though he says he lived for himself until the age of 22). Kevin has a Bachelors in Theology and near completing a Masters at Christian Life School of Theology. Kevin and his wife of 16 years years reside in Littleton, CO and Kevin works as a self employed computer consultant.

In September of 2003 God let me know that many things would shift and begin to change radically in November of 2003 and carry over into 2004. This was certainly confirmed by the signs in the heavens we witnessed in November, as well as through many prophetic words. In mid November I began to receive an abundance of personal revelation and confirmation of many of the things mentioned here.

Magnified Grace

An extraordinary measure of grace is being released to all that will lay hold of it by faith. Failures during our testing period in the wilderness over the past couple of years are being covered. Many have been told that they have been disqualified . This is a lie and God is delivering many from bondage and oppression designed to keep us from entering into the dawn of our destinies. Our emergence into newness of purpose and empowerment, and restoration of vision is being given freely. Though this grace is granted, we may still be tested in areas of failure, but this should not prevent us from moving forward.

Release of resource, wisdom, power, promotion, commissioning

I see many being released into their vision and ministry this year. The provision, wisdom, anointing, and power to fulfill our assigned tasks is given freely, but we will need to contend for it as the enemy has laid siege to much of it.

Finding the zone

The Lord showed me an illuminated circle before me and said that I should step into it immediately. I had the realization that this was a promotion for me personally and hesitated, feeling unworthy and unprepared for this advancement. He sternly commanded me to step into the spot immediately once again. He told me that He was already aware that I was not worthy and completely unable to fulfill the functions of this new position. He alone is worthy and able and will, Himself, empower me through a sovereign grant of extraordinary grace. My part is only to recognize this and obey. I then realized the false humility I had just displayed before Him. He emphasized the importance to be instantly obedient when told to advance or retreat in the coming season. We are to remain in the place and position He calls us to until ordered otherwise. I call this "finding the zone". He then said to tell others of these things. We must not argue with Him in any matter when told to advance, retreat, or stand aside as we are entering a time of intensified warfare. This will be especially critical for those who are now being commissioned as officers in His army. The lives and destinies of others may be affected should we not obey orders here. So, two of the personal dangers we now face are presumption and neglect. Let us strive to "find the zone"!

Restoration, not Reformation -- THE DAY OF THE SAINTS

More people will begin to embrace and endeavor to recapture "primitive Christianity" as they are awakened with the revelation that ordination, commissioning, and anointing come from God alone. Some have been held back by a false belief that man (ordained leadership) must send you before God will bless your work. Many will leave the organized church and begin to meet in homes and small groups in order to be free from intimidation and control in obedience to God. Those who do must leave their fellowships in peace and guard against a rebellious heart. This is not an "anti-church" move, it is just a shift to another expression and form of the Body universal for those who God may "call out".

Restoration of things stolen by the enemy will also be made available to those who will contend in prayer and stand in faith. This would include finances, lost vision, and lost health. Restoration is a key word this year.

Open heavens

God has already opened the Heavens in many areas of North America to a greater degree and will continue to do so across the continent this year. Access to the secrets of the Kingdom and hidden knowledge of God will be granted to His trusted friends. As we seek Him and submit to the refining work of His Spirit we will be granted access to treasures never before revealed to mortals.

Open doors to advance the Kingdom

I see doors of opportunity opening for individuals in business and ministry. I also believe that doors will open to advance the Kingdom in Muslim nations, but this window of opportunity may be brief.

Harvest

Luke 10:2:

And he said to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. ESV

Workers are being recruited for the harvest. Those who are now coming into the Kingdom are not the first fruits of the "Great End Time Harvest", but are the first fruits of the workers that will bring in the harvest. These will need to be thoroughly discipled, not in doctrine but in the power and presence of Jesus. He will put many on a fast track and mature their character at an accelerated rate. We must be on guard against pride, envy, jealousy, or anything else within ourselves that would put a stumbling block in their way.

Home Coming

Prodigals, or the backslidden, will return home. Many in the church have written them off, but God has not. We must not abandon our lost brethren for the sake of catching new fish. Some of us are being prompted by God to pray for and go after the prodigals. These too, will be used mightily by God in the Harvest as they are restored, matured, and empowered for service.

Opening the door in 2004

This year promises to be one of open doors. Some will be opened by the Lord in His sovereignty, while others will only open as we contend with the forces that have kept them shut. However, the door many of us have been asking the Lord to open for us or that we have been commanding to open through declarations and spiritual warfare, will remain shut unless we recognize its location. We ourselves are the doors God most desires to see opened.

Revelation 3:20:

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. ESV

In 2003 the Lord began a deeper work in those who would submit to the purging, breaking, and shaping process. He is continuing this work as we continue to submit and trust in obedience. Many are now ready to receive a greater measure of His grace and favor as they embrace healing, holiness, and humility. Many are being commissioned and released into the dawn of their destiny. We must be cautious though, to not presume that we have completed the refining process and have arrived at "perfection", just because the Lord has seen fit to promote us. Failure to see the refining, promotion, commissioning, and release of greater gifting, anointing and power as an act of His grace, apart from anything that we have done, will likely send us back into the wilderness for an extended season. If He has worked true humility in us then let it be proven. True humility carries with it the realization of our complete dependence on Him and that there is no good thing in us apart from what is produced by Holy Spirit, while confident in our identity as His children and friends. A false humility may lead to fear and intimidation and keep us from stepping into our destiny, while pride masquerading as boldness will lead to presumption. Here again, we must "find the zone".

Romans 12:3

For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. ESV

We must open ourselves up and extend ourselves in love and compassion to our brethren first, and to the world. We will be a door opened to release the power and presence of God, or shut and come under discipline. As we open ourselves up in trust to the Lord and to each other in greater measure, we will find the way of release into greater power, anointing and signs and wonders.

Specific Geographic Areas:

United States

Several events, both inside and outside of the church, will begin to set the stage for the persecution of Christians. We must keep our hearts free from bitter judgment as God begins to set things right in His house.

Hawaii

God is establishing spiritual "beach heads", especially on Big Island. Men and women will rise up to begin to train others in spiritual warfare and evangelism. God is extending an extra measure of His tender mercy and grace to the Hawaiian people for spiritual deliverance, restoration and release into the destiny that has been stolen from them over the past many centuries. The stage is being set for revival on Oahu as well. Intercessors will need to come together in unity quickly in order to maintain territory taken and advance. Some prayer warriors will be called to move to the islands this year.

Fiji, and the South Pacific Islands

Demonstrations of God's power and love will erupt and increase here. Intense intercession is needed to birth and sustain revival.

Canada

Prayer is needed for Montreal and all of Quebec in order to bring the unity needed to release renewal in the Maritimes. Quebec is a stronghold of the enemy and is strategic in seeing God's Spirit move from coast to coast.
