STEVE SHULTZ: "The Lord said, 'Tell him it's his time.'"

Dear Elijah List Family,

Recently, as I returned on a flight from France, I noted that the man sitting next to me began to read his Bible.

"Tell him it's his time!"

"Tell him this is 'his time,'" the Lord said to me.

I wondered about the word but waited and watched. Eventually this man underlined only one passage. After over an hour of reading, he underlined only one few-sentence passage in Joshua.

We struck up a conversation a short time later, discovering that we had both been in Paris for ministry.

"What did you underline in your Bible?" I asked him.

"Oh just something I wanted to remember," was all he replied.

"Yes, but I noticed you read for over an hour and underlined only one short passage. What specifically did you underline?" I literally insisted. (I was actually surprised at my own persistence.)

"Well, I underlined where it said that Caleb had gone into the Promised Land at the age of 40 and that's my age now."

"That's interesting!" I said, "Because God told me to tell you that it was now "your time." I continued, "I feel God wants to encourage you that He is with you as you are now entering this special season of your life. Things will start to open up for you, because as He is saying, 'It's your time."

Though He "heard God" he disagreed that he had

"Well," he said, I strongly agree with you and strongly disagree with you."

I was taken back. "Oh, really?" I asked . . .

"Yes," he continued. "What I mean is that I think that's nice and that God is with me but I don't believe you can just take Scripture like that and just apply it to yourself."

What ensued was a fairly vigorous defense (by me) of what Scripture had just accomplished for him . . . that is, how God had just specifically "spoken" to him through written Scripture. To prove it, he had underlined the specific passage to remind himself of the truth of God's "voice" to him. Yet, at the same time he was denying that God would ever speak this way to an individual."

Later, he seemed grateful to have heard this, yet unwilling to admit it was God speaking.

Our Case for Teaching "The Many" that God Speaks Today

At the Elijah List, the ways continue to grow in which we are enabled to teach more and more people on how to hear God's voice for themselves.

As Moses cried out:

Num 11:29 "I wish that all the LORD's people were prophets."

I can't even begin to tell you how many prophets have told us, "You have no idea how big this thing is going to get," or "This won't even look the same a few years from now."

We want the World to know that God is speaking to individuals . . . you and me . .. all the time!

God is up to something very big . . .and we are humbled by it!

Almost six years ago, when the Elijah List began with 30 subscribers, little did we know we would-- only a few years later, have almost 80,000 subscribers, or that we would have visited or ministered in Israel, England, Wales, France, Scotland, and Ireland, not to mention the many places we've ministered to in the United States.

We've been allowed to pray in and help re-consecrate the newly-rebuilt "ground zero" at the Pentagon and even to pray into the Whitehouse on a private tour, just months before 9/11.

One prophet told us that he felt that our 80,000 subscribers are being forwarded such that our actual readership is several million, not just 80,000.

When Jesus told his followers to go into all the world, little did we know that our simple writings, and potent prophetic words would end up on living room computers in virtually every country in the world, from Jerusalem to the uttermost parts of the earth. . . you see, you can forward an email, but you can't forward a radio broadcast or a television show.

Nevertheless, Growth Continues, and we are aiming
for both Television and Radio
==============================================

Bob Jones recently, called me out in front of almost 1000 people, not knowing that I was in the process of negotiating for office space which was to include a TV studio location. He said, "You're going to do both TV and Radio."

Again, he and I had never discussed this issue.

To this date, we have made our major income (to pay our 20 full or part-time staff) through the sale of good quality prophetic or worship products, rather than asking for donations by themselves. The reason is that we chose to stay a "for-profit" ("FOR-prophet") organization, which allows us to call for prayer for the President or make statements that could not be used against us if we were a NON-profit organization (called a 501-c3 organization).

Because of our for-profit status, we have not made many appeals for only donated funds to help our growth--- because when someone donates to us, they are not able to be guaranteed a tax-write-off.

Honestly, I suppose we should all be at the place where we donate, not only when we can claim it on our taxes as a donation ----but that's the way it seems to be.

One person donated $5000 to us and we had to reassure that person that this could not be written off on her taxes. This Godly woman said, "That's ok, I'm donating it because you tell others they can make copies of your tapes and give them away to all their friends--because you don't copyright your tapes, I'm giving you this money."

I pray that God will MORE than make up this woman's generosity in increased prosperity, because she gave from the heart and NOT for a tax deduction.

So . . .

Even though this is the very month and season in which many are seeking for that final tax deduction I would like to make this appeal to you all
. . .

A new kind of donation

We are called to not only increase dramatically the size and scope of our teaching and decreeing of the prophetic word, but we are being called to build "the same way" into Radio and TV, both on the broadcast level (over Satellite) and via the internet.

To put the Lord's Words into our vernacular . . . "We've only just begun" to dispense the Prophetic Word around the world.
