ACPE and Elijah List in Agreement on Prayer Dates

Dear Elijah List,

I am one of many members of the ACPE (Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders). Among the founders and members are C. Peter Wagner, Chuck Pierce, Cindy Jacobs, Jim Goll and many others.

At roughly the same time we posted our prayer notice to pray for President Bush on the 40th anniversary of the Assassination of President Kennedy, November 22, this announcement by the ACPE also went out (unbeknownst to us) asking people to remember especially to pray on November 21. Please remember that on November 21, in the Middle East, where Ramadan is mostly celebrated, that it will still be underway. It's November 22 right after that time.

Those who celebrate Ramadan are among those who Christ died for.

We bless them.

But we must come against the spirit which is behind the celebration of Ramadan. Many curses go forth and it's those curses which can cause havoc in the church. As we speak, Derene has a migraine and I'm on my way to the doctor for a mysterious eye problem.

Please keep those things in prayer, but more than that, keep the USA, Great Britain, prayer for all world leaders against terrorism and curses that are wittingly or unwittingly released during Ramadan, especially on the 21st/22nd of November.

Dear Faithful Warriors:

I am reminding us of the last few days of the 30 Day Prayer Focus that we have been praying through. Remember, the 27th Day of Ramadan, Nov. 21, is a key day for us to add fasting to our prayers. We are to love our enemies, but we must learn to negate and neutralize their words, so NO WEAPON formed against God's covenant people will PROSPER. Here are the last few days:

Day 24: Read 1 Thessalonians 1:5, 8. Memorize these two verses. "For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake... For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything." Declare His word will begin to SOUND forth.

Day 25: Read Genesis 12 and 15. Ask God to reveal to you His COVENANT plan for your life and in the earth realm. The war that we are in is a covenant war.

Day 26: Read Deuteronomy 20. Understand the laws of war. Give a war cry up into heaven over you life and family. Give a war cry over the nation that God points you to pray for.

Day 27: Read Isaiah 40. Declare that a highway will be paved into the Islamic world and many will begin to get on the highway of salvation.

Day 28: Read Isaiah 54. Declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper. Declare no weapon formed against the Lord Jesus Christ will prosper.

Day 29: Read Psalm 96. Sing to the Lord a new psalm. Let it be a song of salvation. If you don't feel comfortable singing your own psalm, sing along to a worship tape or CD.

Day 30: Read Joshua 6. Do a Jericho walk around your house or neighborhood. As you are walking focus your prayers on an Islamic nation. Declare the walls will fall.


I woke up agitated several days ago. I had a familiar "feeling" like I had before 911 (September 11, 2001). I have asked the Lord if this is an emotion or if I am sensing a warning from the Holy Spirit. I then received the following from Francis Frangipane:

"We have been living with the potential for terrorism for a long time and, by the grace of God, we have not seen a major 9-11 type attack on American or Western soil. However, I feel that over these past months a false sense of security has lulled some of us into a more relaxed prayer posture. In my opinion, it is just this kind of spiritual vulnerability that sets the stage for the enemy to fulfill terrorist plans. To accept the responsibility to pray for our respective nations, beloved, is to move toward the highest realms of God's destiny for the church. With confidence, I say that God's word will be fulfilled: before Jesus returns, the church will truly become a house of prayer for all nations. Yet, whether our transformation occurs prior to, or as a result of, terrorist attacks is up to us. I also want to be clear that my issuing this warning is not because of a unique or specific word from the Lord. Yet, the signs are all around us: consider a recent Fox News report where radical Muslims have recently begun warning nominal Muslims to leave New York City, Los Angeles and Washington DC. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,102179,00.html.

Do we need a major spiritual sign to discern we need to pray? .........God's word encourages us that, "the people who know their God will display strength and take action" (Dan 11:32b). Let us not fear, but move in faith--divine exploits shall be done by many during these days! Indeed, the Holy Spirit promises that a visible glory awaits the overcoming church. Though "darkness will cover the earth, and deep darkness the peoples," yet "the Lord will rise upon you, and His glory will appear upon you" (Isa. 60:2). The war we are fighting is real and the enemy is desperate. Yet, our God is the great Redeemer King. By His grace, let us rise in prayer and faith for the nations where God has placed us. Let us hold true the Father's promise, that even in such a time as this: "nations will come to [our] light, and kings to the brightness of [our] rising" (Isa. 60:3).

With our President currently in England, understanding the times and then having this discernment, I feel we just need to rally prayer and gather together to pray with friends and families. My own church is meeting from 3:00AM to 6:00AM Friday morning, Nov. 21.

Remember, this is a year of revelation, mysteries, secrets and surprises. The Lord wants to give us revelation that will surprise our enemies.

These things could stop or hinder us from receiving revelation:

(1) Our attitude. If you have rejected a gift, or if you have rejected revelation in the past, or said, "I wonder why God would never give me (a specific gift or revelation)," that is an attitude. You've got to have God cleanse you of any deep seated attitude against revelation, dreams or visions.

(2) For some of you, your day is not scheduled right. We've got get in sync with God. Where does He want to meet with you? What place does He want your communication to be developed? Find that place.

(3) Our independence. We must become more dependent on God than the other things we are relying on. Let God lead you into a more excellent way. He would say to you, "I will show you I am greater than these other things this year." Depend upon the Body more. Do not be isolated.

(4) Rejecting words in the past. Some of you have been unwilling to receive a word that God has spoken to you in the past. This has blocked your spirit from receiving hidden revelation from Him. We have to go back and look at certain words we have resisted that God really was saying to us and things that God was doing in us and corrections He was bringing to us. Once He shows you that which you were unwilling to hear and you hear it again, all of a sudden the floodgate of revelation will open upon your life.

I am praying that your SHIELD OF FAITH be strengthened and every fiery dart that is set against you quenched. The SHIELD has several meanings: Sinna, protection. This shield was large enough to cover the whole body (see Ps. 5:12; 91:4). Generally, the word is used with "spear" as a formula for weapons (see 1 Chron. 12:24; 2 Chron. 11:12). Magen. This shield was smaller, a buckler or target, probably for hand-to-hand combat. This shield is usually coupled with light weapons, as the bow (see 2 Chon. 14:8) and darts (see 2 Chron. 32:5, KJV). Shelet. The form of this shield is not well known. Although by some it is translated "quiver," and by others "weapons." It is evident that the shield is proper by comparing 2 Kings 11:10 with 2 Samuel 8:7, 1 Chronicles 18:7-8 and 2 Chronicles 23:9. The sohera, "buckler," is found only in Psalm 91:4 (KJV), and is used poetically. We also have the Greek word thureos (see Eph. 6:16), a large oblong or square shield. The ordinary shield among the Hebrews consisted of a wooden frame covered with leather; it could be burned easily (see Ezek. 39:9). Some shields were covered with brass or copper, and when shone upon by the sun, caused the redness mentioned in Nahum 2:3. When we make the choice to be single-minded, yielded to God and true worshipers of Him, He becomes our shield of faith. In the Word of God, we see many verses declaring the Lord as our shield. I want to use some of those verses and write a prayer for you (see Gen. 15:1; Deut. 33:29; 2 Sam. 22:3,36; Ps. 5:12). I will leave a blank for you to insert your name. Here is the prayer that I prayed for you. Just put your name in the blanks daily during the month and watch yourself enter into a new dimension of victory.

I AM here to shield you today. Do not be afraid, __________; I AM your shield, your very great reward. Blessed are you, ____________! I AM your shield and helper and glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you and you will trample down their high places. I AM God your rock. ___________, take refuge in My shield and the horn of My salvation. I am your stronghold, your refuge and your Savior from violent men. My shield of victory I have given to you. I have stooped down to make you great. I bless the righteous; therefore, ________, I will surround you with favor as with a shield.


Isn't that an incredible prayer of God promising to be our shield? Not only is He our shield, but He has given us Himself to put on as a shield. Our faith and trust in Him becomes our shield to quench all of the enemy's fiery darts. Robert Heidler and my new book, Restoring Your Shield of Faith, comes out at the beginning of December.
