When Bobby Conner speaks, I listen.

He is a true "Father" to the Body of Christ. Bobby is one of those few who are as the "Sons of Issachar." He is among those who know the times and seasons in the World and in the Body of Christ.

So many feel that, especially in the United States of America, it's Republican against Democrat. I'm sorry, but that's not it. And that's not the warning Bobby is giving below.

Who is on the Lord's Side?

We are having enough trouble even getting those who are on the Lord's side - regardless of political party affiliation, to agree to pray for our President (though wonderfully, we just added about 2000 people to pray for our president this last week. A report to follow soon!)

Folks, When Paul taught us that we were to pray for Kings and those in authority, Nero, one of the most evil dictators to ever rule was in control of the entire Roman Empire and life on earth as it was known.

What does that mean to you and me?

It means that, even if we are on the SAME political party and yet we disagree with even the tiniest decision that our Commander-in-Chief makes, that shouldn't change our prayers one iota.

We are simply instructed by God to pray for Kings in authority - and every other ruler, for that matter.

The Last President in Office

When the last President was in office in the USA, a serious warning by a well-known prophet went forth that we were to pray regularly for that President, regardless if we disagreed with his policies. But instead, because many disagreed with things they were seeing, rather than praying, many - if not most - cursed that president. I'm telling you honestly, I saw marriages suffer among those who were cursing that president. I even began to notice a trend . . . curse the President . . . watch your marriage suffer.

There is a spiritual truth that if we do not pray for those in authority, we will pray a price.

Now, in 2003, we are seeing, even among those of the same political persuasions, cursing the President, over the least decision he makes in which the observer disagrees. May it never be.

My goodness, People of God, God never said, "Pray for those in authority who you are in absolute agreement with."

God simply said, "Pray for Kings" and others in authority.

I'll quote you the Scripture below. That includes, on both "sides of the aisle" of Congress and the Senate - both men and women - whether we agree with them or not.

PRAY FOR THEM - all of them!

Let's not be "hearers" of the Word ONLY - but "doers" of the word.

1 Tim 2:1-4
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

". . . I do want to bring up a stern warning.

"You know it's part of the role and the responsibility of the prophetic to warn about Satanic attacks.

"Do you believe that?

"The Bible says, 'Shall a trumpet be blown in the street and the people not assemble?' One verse says, 'Shall a lion roar in the streets and the people not be afraid?'

Warning Against a Coming Division

"I saw the enemy's plan for a coming division in our nation.

"Now, we are talking about authority today. We're talking about Kingdom power. We're talking about power to change and power to rule. We're talking about dominion.

"See, that's what we've got to have if we're going to be an apostolic people. We've got to have divine dominion. And that's what God wants to grant to us. . . .

. . . But here's the enemy's plan. And I believe it's going to be a test to see how much dominion we have.

"I saw the enemy take a chisel. You know what a chisel is . . . you break stone with it.

"And I saw a small hairline crack in our nation.

"And the enemy is placing this chisel right in this hairline crack and he's drawing back a mallet.

"Now this crack isn't political parties - not about Republican or Democrat.

"Now I want to tell you something. This is not about politics. This is about a demonic attack. And I'm warning the church today that if we don't take our place as prayer warriors and pray this thing back, the enemy will make connection with this mallet and this chisel and bring division in our nation that's going to set our nation into a spiral of darkness that we have not witnessed in our lifetime.

"Now God cares nothing about democrat or republican. That's not what I'm talking about. This is far past political parties. This is a demonic assault and it is to divide this nation and other nations around the earth.

"Now church, do we have power to stop the mallet?

“No weapon formed against us works. No, but if we sit idly by . . .

"God says, 'I don't care which way it's going, we'd better sound alarm.'

"The sons of Issachar should know times and seasons and purposes and activities of God. And it's time to warn the people.

"Do you believe that it was in Oregon was where the presidential election was won?

Remember in a prophetic meeting over there in the tent (Grants Pass) when we prayed? God wants to do something now. Now I'm telling you if we don't do something now and the enemy does smack this mallet against this chisel there's going to come a division that's going to release darkness.


A Word for Canada

"Now I have a word for Canada.

"So you Canadians need to listen.

“Go back to your nation and stand boldly and say, 'The church runs our country, not the politics.'

“That's what's wrong. All these judgments you're seeing are judgments from the hand of God because the church backed off and let the country be run by politicians. I'm telling you it was never the plan of God for politicians to govern our land. The church has it's job to do.

"So go back and boldly declare it. And if you'll start declaring it, Job 22:28 will happen:

"'Decree a thing and it will be established,' the Word of God says.

"And so that's really all the judgments that have fallen on Canada in the last few months and years . . . really. It's because the hand of the Lord has allowed this. And you know the wild fires have consumed a lot . . .

"God said they're going to ask you, and He said that you are to answer their question with a question. . .

"I've got a question for Canada. How about the wild fires?"

"God said, 'Answer their question with a question.'

"Who started it?

Look at the origin of it and you'll find the answer.

So go back to your nation [whichever nation you're from], see and declare.

"I'm telling you this thing is even to divide America and Canada. You understand this?"

". . .You believe a house divided . . . what is it?------ It can't stand!

So does anybody hear this?

You know I hear some of you say, 'I don't think the church ought to be involved in politics.'

"That's how . . .un-enlightened we are.

The church is supposed to, through our involvement and intercessions---- pick the politicians that rule over us. This thing of separation of church and state . . . show me that in the heart of God. It's the furthest thing removed from the heart of God.

I'm telling you the church had better own up to who we are or get out into the market place and quit this claiming to "be" something because we have no evidence and demonstration that we are.

What do you think?

I'll tell you one thing I've found out, that the Lord doesn't respond to our screaming. Do you understand that? He responds to the sincerity of our heart. Screaming at the devil does not get him nervous one bit. He's not one bit afraid of our screaming. But he's scared spit-less of our elder brother, Jesus Christ . . . When our elder brother clothes us in who we really are, it scares the devil spit-less.

"That's what God is trying to tell us - who we really are."

"Father I want to thank you that it's because of who You really are, that we have any kind of comprehension of who we are. And Lord I want to thank you that in you we are seated in heavenly places. And right now we take authority and dominion over this division that the enemy is trying to spread. We say no to that. We say absolutely no to that. We say no to that. We speak unity. Not some kind of uniformity, but real unity that's birthed in the heart of individuals. Let's say at all costs we'll get along with the Kingdom of God."

"Lord bring us supernatural unity now. And Lord I pray for this. I pray that you would stop the hand of the enemy that he not be able to smack the mallet against the chisel, and whatever you have to do to stop that, Lord, that we're rendering the enemy absolutely powerless right now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord.

Finish this thing. In Jesus' mighty name, amen.
