In Patricia
King's (Pat Coking's) "From Co-laboring to Bridal Rule," below, you will
see a picture of the Grace of Jesus Christ. For too long the Church has
been trying to figure out how to get the Lord to "love her" in her present
messed up condition. It's as if we have still not understood the Cross.
The Cross and Jesus' own blood shed on it, is what causes Him to love us
with an everlasting love, even in our present condition. He looks at us
and sees us as His beautiful Bride.
By the way,
below this article, we have posted Patricia's explanation for her name
change. In case you hadn't noticed it, several in the prophetic lately
have felt led to put a new emphasis on their name to symbolize what God is
saying and doing in their lives. Jim Goll now is James Goll. Keith Davis
is now Paul Keith Davis. Lisa Cook is now Lisa Cooke (her last name
changed to be her original spelling.).
I'm thrilled
with Pat Coking's new last name, "King," as KING is my mother's maiden
name, so there are KINGS in my lineage (smiling). By the way, Steve or
Stephen means "crowned one." I like that!
Anyway, I felt
you would want to know that this is happening a lot lately among God's
prophetic people. For more of the "story," on Pat's name change, See
Patricia King's explanation below her article.

"Now it came about on the third day that
Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king's
palace in front of the king's rooms, and the king was sitting in his royal
throne in the throne room, opposite the entrance of the palace.
And it happened when the king saw Esther
the queen standing in the court, she obtained favor in his sight and the
king extended to Esther the golden scepter which was in his hand. So
Esther came near and touched the top of the scepter." Esther 5:1,2
VISION
I saw the Bride of Christ, like Esther, stand
before the King. She was beautifully prepared....no spot or wrinkle and
was arrayed in fine linen. A golden crown was upon her head. King Jesus
delighted in His Bride with an intensity of favor that is indescribable.
He extended His righteous scepter to her. In the vision, the Bride
touched the scepter and as she did, the authority and the favor of the
King was imparted to her. It appeared like a tangible thick liquid that
filled every part of her being. He said, "Go my Bride.....Go in My
authority and save the nations."
In the next part of the vision, I saw the
Bride, arrayed in glory riding on the back of a large, beautiful, white
war horse. Jesus held the reigns and she was cleaving to Him as they rode
together into harvest fields. Jesus and His bride were absolutely one in
this vision and they shared the same mission. Kingdom authority -- the
authority of love and light was radiating off of them and the nations were
being flooded with the influence of this "love authority". The nations
were being flooded with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord.
INTERPRETATION
1. Believers are being called to a
preparation season (like Esther). This is a call to deeper levels of
intimacy with the Lord. Individuals need to ask the Holy Spirit to lead
them in the preparation.
2. The royal robes (Christ's
righteousness) are to array the Bride. This means that we cannot lean on
our own righteousness but must acknowledge the finished work of Christ at
the cross and depend on His life to fill us and clothe us. The Bride will
know "grace" and will not lean on her own self efforts. Kingdom
works will flow from this revelation. The works will be marked by the
Lord's presence. "The fine linen are the righteous acts of the saints"
Revelation 19:8b
3. The Lord is calling His Bride to stand
in the presence of His throne. This is the place where His rule is
executed. (see Matthew 28:18-20). Ephesians 2:6 states that we are seated
in the heavenly places with Him. The Bride will acknowledge it's "third
heaven position".
4. The church is to acknowledge the
greatness of the Lord's favor towards her. Favor will strengthen the
mission of the church in the earth and the Bride must have the revelation
of how favored she is. This favor will surround her as a shield and give
her confidence (see Psalm 5:12).
5. The Lord imparted favor and authority to
the Bride as she touched His righteous scepter. The Holy Spirit is going
to grant revelation of the Kingly authority of Christ and as the
revelation comes there will be an impartation of that same authority to
those who "touch it". This will come only by being in His presence.
6. The Bride will be released to ride with
King Jesus into the earth to touch the nations with His "love authority". The horse was a "war horse". There will be great conflicts in these
coming days and the power and authority of the love and light that is in
Christ will conquer darkness and wickedness. This is a time of great
harvest. The Bride will "go" into all the earth with her King executing
His dominion and authority. The nations will be touched by the glory of
the Lord and the knowledge of His greatness will be made known through the
church.
FURTHER NOTE:
The true "Bridal Rule" will be expressed in
tremendous levels of humility and meekness.

AN EXPLANATION

MY NAME CHANGE FROM
PAT COKING TO PATRICIA KING
Dear friends,
A number of you have emailed me concerning my second name change, now to
Patricia King. Many of you have confirmed the name change and had seen it
in your spirit even before it happened and others of you have written
letters of love, concern and constructive criticism. I am thankful for all
of your input and appreciate the time that you take to write.
I believe that I have probably made a big mistake that I wish to apologize
for and I know that you deserve an explanation, so in the following words I
will help to inform you to the best of my ability concerning the processes
that I have walked through this last year. I am going to in openness and
vulnerability allow you into this part of my life and heart.
JANUARY 2003
At the end of January 2003, I had just completed the most
intense warfare season in my entire ministry. I was actually contemplating
taking a year's sabbatical in order to engage in prayer for at least a
twelve month period. My accountability team could not get a witness on
this. In fact, they believed there was going to be an escalation of public
ministry. We prayed into it, received confirmation and so I laid down my
desire for the sabbatical and asked the Lord for supernatural strength for
the next part of the journey.
CALL FOR A NAME CHANGE
As I prepared to move into the next season, the Lord spoke
very strongly to my heart about a prophetic name change. The change was to
be from Pat Cocking to Pat Coking. He spoke to me concerning the prophetic
value of the change regarding the vision of the Body coming into "co-ruling"
with Him. It felt very clear to me. When I submitted it to my husband and
team, they had a witness as to the change but many of them felt that it
should be Patricia King and not Pat Coking. I sensed a bit of a witness on
it but could not get the final witness to go ahead with Patricia King. I
explained to them that I might end up with Patricia King, but that I felt
the Lord had something to proclaim in the "co-king" revelation for the Body
-- a call to a higher place in Him, manifesting His dominion in the earth.
After sharing their thoughts, they graciously released me to obey my
nudging. My husband was in complete favor of me doing this.
It was interesting, because after I officially made the name change, we
began to be inundated with unclean and perverted emails using our name
"cocking" in a very derogatory and disturbing way and we even received
obscene phone calls into the office. This had never, ever happened to us
before. It seemed to my heart to be a further witness on the timing of the
change, especially as we were launching into secular television. (By the
way, I LOVE my married name, "Cocking" and I am proud to claim it.)
MARCH 2003
In March we filmed our first programs of Extreme Prophetic
as an intercessory act of calling the Body of Christ into radical prophetic
expressions on the air waves. I had never had any ambition for television
ministry in the past, but it was a strong mandate from the Lord to film in
Hollywood (the jugular for the Babylonian spirit in the area of
filming/television etc) and to air it in Vegas in June. I did so under the
Coking name. It all went better than we had ever anticipated in every
respect.
APRIL 2003
Our team was mandated to continue producing and airing
programs to be aired on Christian and secular television as an outreach unto
Harvest. It was at this time that a number of team members approached me on
my name and felt very strongly that the ministry name for the next season
was to be Patricia King and not Pat Coking. At first I wrestled, because I
did not have a witness that the season for "Pat Coking" was finished. I
didn't sense that it was the time yet to transition into "King", but, in
May/June, I agreed to go ahead with their advice.
JULY/AUGUST 2003 -- a
revelation
In August, I was visited by the Lord with a revelation on
the progression of the name change from Pat Coking to Patricia King. It was
very personal and I will not go into all the details, but in a nutshell, the
Lord spoke to my heart regarding the transition in the Body of Christ from
"co-laboring/ruling" to "Bridal Rule". Bridal rule is a dominion that flows
from the deepest, most intimate place in covenant love that can be secured
-- the Bride of The King! This is a very different picture than a
"co-laborer".....and it is what we, the church are called to in this hour.
I wept and was deeply and profoundly touched at this time.
PATRICIA KING
My given name at birth was PATRICIA. It means "noble one"
or "of nobility". I believe the Lord has asked me to use my full name as a
prophetic statement of His call on the Body of Christ as His "noble ones"
and KING as a bridal identification of His kingship and dominion in the
earth through His church.
MISTAKE
I believe that the progression of the name change was indeed
a true prophetic intercessory act as I have been calling the Body into
identification with co-ruling and bridal rule but that I should have taken
longer to listen to the team's revelations regarding the change. In
hindsight (which is always better than foresight), I believe that I should
have possibly used the "Pat Coking" name only between the Lord and myself
(and perhaps my team and close friends) as I walked through the
prophetic/intercessory call and then launched into the public name change of
Patricia King. That way, there would have been only one change and yet I
would have still been faithful to the intercessory progression.
APOLOGY
I am deeply sorry for any way that I have offended any of
you with this process. My heart has always been to walk in obedience. For
any way that I have been a stumbling block to you and made room for offense,
I am deeply sorry and I ask your forgiveness. Please receive my humble
apology.
WHAT NOW?
I will begin to publicly use the name Patricia King on a
full time basis as of October 1, 2003. Could you please change this in your
files.
PRAYER PLEASE
Could I ask you to keep this transition bathed in prayer. I
don't want people to be hurt or offended because of my lack of sensitivity.
May the grace and mercy of the Lord cover this. Your prayers mean a great
deal to me.
FINAL NOTE
Thanks for reading through these details. I really do
appreciate and love you -- in fact the entire Body of Christ. I am looking
forward to joining you in the harvest season. I can hardly wait to see the
multitudes flooding in to the Kingdom. We can do it church.
My husband Ron sends his blessings to you with this letter and wants to
assure you that he is completely fine with the change. It was all done with
his support and agreement.

THIS MONTH'S INTERCESSION SCHOOL SELECTION

One of the messages the Holy Spirit is saying to the
church of today is "Come Up Here". He longs to show us intercessory
strategies from a Third Heaven perspective. And we will never be able to
comprehend the "game plan" unless our intercession "skills" are razor
