Be Expecting!

I believe we are on the brink of the greatest move of God in History, one that cannot be compared to what has been in times past. Call it an end time awakening, or move, or latter day rain, whatever you want, but I know in my "knower" it is HUGE! and not just for one nation but for the entire created population.

"In the last days I will pour out my spirit on all flesh."

Along with that knowing is also the knowing that our very real enemy is like a caged animal backed into a corner and desperate to get out of it.

"The enemy walks about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour"

Be Aware of Your Surroundings!

His desire is to wreak chaos and havoc before his time is up. That is why we must be aware of our surroundings. The Word tells us that, in the last days, we will also see great darkness upon the earth as has not been seen before. Take a look around! we are in it!!! and it will only get worse. Along with this mighty move of God, the perverter has come with his false movement. Although we do not fear him, we are to not be ignorant of his devices. We must know our Savior and Lord, and be able to confidently give account as to why we hold fast to the truth, no matter what the cost. We must know the Word like we have never known Him before ....

I stand excited for I know that as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ (any believer is a minister), we get to be a part, and play a big part, in this great end time move. I am expectant because I know God is true to His word and He will perform everything He has declared and, when you know what He declares, you have a lot to be expectant about.

As for being cautious, well that is where I am leading this message to. Not being ignorant of the enemies devices is the key. Lack of prayer is ignorance, and when in need, not asking is also ignorance.

"Seek and you shall find, Ask and it will be given you, Knock and the door shall be opened."

What happens when you step out

As we the body begin to step into this part of our destiny, God is opening doors no man can shut, and providing opportunities that once were only dreams. Along with this, each time we step out in obedience, we also become a target for the caged animal (the enemy). These are times when it seems that the old liar brings things into our path to totally deter us from our purpose and keep us tilted to what is happening in our situations. If he keeps us focused on "us", he thinks he can keep us from our part in this great harvest.

Allow me to share this. Years ago, I had received prophetic words concerning ministry opportunities, and those words kept coming. For years I kept hearing the same messages until, finally, I lost hope of them coming to pass and I almost stopped receiving these types of words. All I seemed to do was receive the word and then watch as things in my life got worse and the promise seemed farther and farther away. Then, a few years ago, our church went through a great move of God, and it seemed like "heaven on earth."

Yet, within a short time, heaven changed and many walked away from the church either offended, convicted, or neglected. This left a "core group", and I was certain God was just cleaning house and leaving only those who were serious about Him. God then gave us a new form of leadership and our "core group" got even smaller. Those who vowed to be there until Jesus came suddenly were offended, or convicted, or so adamant about "having their ministry", that they moved on. Our times have been unparalleled as to the presence of God being evident in the meetings, and the Holy Spirit has never lacked when a miracle was needed, or desired, yet our workers dwindled. It seemed, as the meetings became more and more spiritually intense and God showed up in power, the smaller we got. This seemed true in every area of ministry.

Prophetic Words Become Reality

This past two years, the activation of the prophetic words that were spoken over me have begun to appear. I have been given opportunity to do the things God said He would do years ago, yet along with this wonderful season of destiny, things around me seem to be trying to distract. For instance, I just recently had the opportunity to travel and be a part of an Elijah List sponsored Women's Prophetic Destiny conference. I was able to share hope with many women and impart blessing into many lives. It was truly a prophetic word come to pass, and yet on the heels of this, my mother had a stroke, we had four immediate and close family deaths, my church began remodeling, and our services were cut to one day a week  (I love to be in church ). Additionally, many on the jail ministry team that I oversee became ill, or suffered some crisis, yet the jail still seems to be igniting with revival when the workers are so few.

The move of God has begun, even with what seems so few harvesters. When I inquired of the Lord, "What on earth are you doing?", He shared this with me, and I share it with you.

"I have made it known that I will come again in the blink of an eye, and in the time of my choosing. I have made it known that I desire not one to perish, but that all should come to the knowledge of My son Jesus. Yet the time is short, and I have begun to pour out My Spirit on all flesh. Eye has not seen, nor ear heard ,nor entered into the heart of man, all that I have planned, but know this, I do not have time that is wasted. There is purpose and destiny behind everything that I am doing on the earth. The enemy who has unleashed an assault against My children will receive his just reward, yet I am causing you to awaken that you will know no one is spared from choosing me everyday of their life on earth. You will know obedience by the things you have suffered, so be diligent and calculating in your endeavors for Me. Be strong and of good courage, knowing your end will justify the means. Go into all the world preaching the good news, remembering the Spirit of prophecy IS the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and do not become distracted by the events and situations that arise in your life, for they are a deterrence to keep you on guard, and not on task. I have given you all authority and power to overcome obstacles and assaults, but you must continue in Me. I care about the things in your life that bring you heartache, and I am there in the midst of your trials and tribulations, and yes, I have made a way of escape, but you must listen to Me, Know Me and do as I have shown you. Trust in Me with all of your heart, and do not lean on your understanding, lean on Me, rely on Me and Believe Me!! All that I have planned for you, and all that I have spoken to you WILL come to pass in My Time...Hold fast beloveds, hold fast!!

If He says "Hold Fast", we must "Hold Fast"!

With all that I have seen and been through, I know without a doubt that Gods word is true and produces life, of that I am a witness. And if He has said "hold fast", then we must "hold fast". I encourage you to bring out those old dusty prophetic promises that you received and thought would never come about, and if your Spirit has bore witness with those words, speak them openly to declare His word to you, and the prophetic words that you know that are self-seeking and appealing to your flesh, throw out...Keep what is true and watch your surroundings. Take opportunity, when the atmosphere changes around you. God may just be wanting you to advance deeper into your destiny.
