In 1993, the Holy Spirit began to open up the passage
in Isaiah 25:6-9 concerning His purpose through the church. "On this
mountain the LORD of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of fat
things, a feast of wine on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wine
on the lees well refined. And he will destroy on this mountain the
covering that is cast over all peoples, the veil that is spread over all
nations" (Isaiah 25:6-7 - RSV). He spoke powerfully in my heart that
He was going to remove the veil of religion that is over all the nations
through the unveiling of His goodness in His people.
During the prophetic conference in Houston, the Holy
Spirit gave this word to us through one of the attendees, Geary Jones:
"I am restoring your ministry back to its original
intent. It shall be in those days as the wines on the lees, as wines on
the lees. And you will destroy the surface of the covering cast over the
people, the veil of religion that is spread over this nation. You have
waited for me and I have seen you in the night watches and how the desire
of your soul is for my name.
Now go and speak grace to my people and wipe away
their tears that they may learn righteousness...I have saved the choicest
wine till the last."
God's Four-Fold Purpose
I had mentioned at the conference that the verses God
had used in calling us to America were from Isaiah 49:8-9: "This is
what the LORD says: "In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the
day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be
a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its
desolate inheritances, to say to the captives, 'Come out,' and to those in
darkness, 'Be free!" " (NIV). I shared that God had given me the
fourfold purpose, which really unfolds chronologically in reverse order to
the sequence of the verses: 1. Declaring to those in darkness, "Be free!"
2. Saying to the captives, "Come out!" 3. Reassigning the desolate
inheritances, and 4. Restoring the land. This graphic picture was
foretelling the return of the captives after the 70-year captivity in
Babylon.
For there to be a restoration of the land (revival),
God's people need to know and possess their inheritance in Christ, in the
grace and goodness of God, and in the kingdom of God. However since so
many are in the darkness of religious captivity and the bondage that
results, the first step is to call out the captives! At the Houston
conference, another attendee, a pastor from Houston told Bev that God had
spoken to her that I was an apostle 'to those coming out!!'
"Yes, Lord!! Thank you that You are calling your
people out from under religious bondage and oppression through the word of
the finished work of the cross, the revelation of your goodness and grace,
and the outpouring of your love by the Holy Spirit. Thank you that the
message of grace and the manifestation of your power and goodness are
smashing the surface of the covering over the people, the veil that has
hidden their eyes from the unsearchable riches of Christ, the fullness of
their inheritance in Him."
One of the key concepts of revelation that the church
has lost sight of is that God has enunciated a principal in the scriptures
that is a reflection of His nature and how He works: "Do not be
overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Rom 12:21 - NKJ).
This is what God is doing, Hallelujah! He is manifesting His goodness in
glorious dimensions to His people so as to totally overcome the evil of
religion that has bound, blinded and defrauded His people of all that He
has provided for them in Christ. We feel so privileged to have been
entrusted with such a wonderful message and such a glorious ministry.
"LOOSE HIM AND LET HIM GO!"
