A 93-YEAR OLD MAN WITH A STROKE - A PROPHECY BY PAUL CAIN - A CALL TO PRAY IT THROUGH

I only have two board members of the Elijah List as we are a small ministry. Both board members have been through some of the hardest-hit-by-the-enemy people I have ever known. The enemy doesn't like them at all. Can you guess why?
While I don't normally put individual prayer requests out (since this is a prophetic list) I am making an exception in Mark Fountain's case. He has been "there" for Derene and me in a BIG WAY over the years and we want to bless him. He has spoken prophetically into our lives and now I'd like to bless him back!!
His father (who is unsaved at the age of 93) just had a terrible stroke. We need to intercede WITH VIOLENCE for this man's salvation before the enemy can claim him. Here are Mark's own words:

Mark: Please pray for my dad. He had a really serious stroke on Saturday and is now hospitalized. According to a preliminary doctor's report released yesterday, it affected the top part of his brain that affects some vital areas and he'll need assisted living for the rest of his life - unless the Lord intervenes, of course. His name is Ed and he's 93 and doesn't know the Lord and has been resistant to the Gospel. He had seriously bad experiences as a child regarding church. His dad (my grandfather) was also a Socialist and the hardest thing for him, although he only talked about it once to me, was losing his fiancée to a fast acting terminal cancer as a young man. This, I believe, was the final arrow from the enemy that has made him bitter toward God for many years.
Complicating matters, he is weak and frail and has other health problems as well. He is also under restraint. Also please pray for my Mom, Esther and my brother Erik and his family for wisdom on how to deal with this situation. Since they live in Southern California and we live in Washington State, it also makes it difficult for us being at a distance.
A WORD FROM PAUL CAIN --TO BE PRAYED IN
I did have a word from Paul Cain in 1994 that there would be a "softening" and a receptivity to the "good gospel" at a later time and I've stood on that. I have also had a couple opportunities where I was allowed to pray over him when he was having heart problems, etc. He wasn't healed. I believe that this latest stroke, although the enemy intended it for evil, will have a positive effect. There have been many prayers for my dad over the years and I believe the victory will be the Lord's and I believe I have God's peace about that. Still the victory won't be sure until he actually commits the remainder of his life to the Lord and allows Him to heal his bitterness before he enters eternity. That would be cause for celebration for sure - not that we want him to die of course, but then we'll have an eternity to make up for all the wasted years. What a glorious testimony this would be. Please pray to that end!
