"When
You Meet - Sit At The Edge Of Your Seat!" - a Word
for MayI sensed the Lord
saying, "Unusual visitations are
coming into meetings with My people as they gather together unto Me
beginning the month of May. As your 'May
meetings' become 'My
meetings' it will charter the
course of the rest of your life! When you meet - sit at the edge of
your seat! I will begin to take over whole meetings from start to
finish if you free My hands and feet to walk into your midst. Tell My
people to get into a 'spiritual'
receiving position for I am going to reveal Myself to them in unusual
visitations and power which will seem to be unusual to them but it is Me
just beginning to gently breathe upon them to receive My Spirit of a fresh
Pentecost! It's a season for My people to receive from Me personally even
in large corporate gatherings. From the pulpit to the nursery I will
breathe new life into them."
"May I Have
This Meeting?"
I heard the Lord asking a strong question
especially to ministers and speakers who are scheduled to minister in
meetings beginning the month of May. "May I have this meeting?" The Lord
was asking for our meetings, conferences and even small gatherings of two
or three to be given completely over to Him to do what He wanted to do in
our midst. It was as though He was urgently calling for a
meeting with us instead of us inviting Him to attend our meetings.
Another strong question the Holy Spirit
was asking to leaders, pastors and speakers beginning this month of May
was - "May I have your notes and preconceived message you have studied and
prepared to give to others?
"May I give you something so fresh
that you will feel the fire of My hot oven that My fresh bread is being
delivered from? May I set you on fire so others may come just to watch you
burn? I have a 'special'
running during the month of May on fresh bread, fresh revelation and fresh
visitation! - I am offering free Home Delivery and special House calls."
I sensed a season was in for the whole
Body of Christ, including
leadership, to come into a time of
receiving personally from the Lord fresh faith, fresh power and
encouragement. As we all began to focus on the Lord first and waited on
Him to see what He had on His heart, it became like a one-on-one
encounter with the Lord God Almighty! I kept hearing the Lord saying
before our meetings began - "Wait on Me and watch what I will do." In the
Spirit I saw God changing the flow of meetings and having people in
gatherings walking onto the platform to pulpits and ministering to pastors
and conference speakers who also needed to receive something fresh
themselves through other members of the Body of Christ. As we waited on
God, every member of His Body became activated in the Spirit for God to
use.
Get Ready
For the Ride of a Lifetime!
Another question came ringing to pastors
and congregations like a church bell from a steeple.
"May I have My church back?"
This question was so timely to many discouraged pastors,
for they were considering leaving "their" churches anyway and now were
actually relieved to give the "thing" away to someone who actually wanted
it and who it really belonged to. And the one
who wanted to take over was inviting them and their congregations to stay
and "sit at the edge of their seats for the ride of a lifetime."
I saw "spiritual," adjustable,
seat belts being added to every church pew and choir seat. People in the
days to come, including these
pastors and congregations who gave away their church back to God,
would now come into His House to be still before Him and know that He is
God and that He would be exalted among them and in the earth itself! They
would not come dragging in, but
could not wait to get there, with
such anticipation that God was in the house and that anything, especially
the impossible, could happen and
probably would!
This Month Would
Prepare Us For a "Spiritual" June
"May" questions kept coming to God's
people. "'May'
I have your ministry, your gifts and your calling? And may I have all of
you so I may give you all of Me?" I sensed the month of May was crucial
for us to give to God what He was asking for from us. This month would
prepare us for a "spiritual" June that would be known for weddings,
honeymoons and intimacy with the one who wants all of us. I sensed how we
answer the Lord's questions in May would change the rest of our year, the
rest of our ministry and the rest of our Life.
Let's sincerely respond to Him in the
month of May.
"As your meetings become Mine -
please adjust your seatbelts and lean a little bit more forward, sitting
at the edge of your seat, for you are in for an unusual ride of a
lifetime!"
