This is Phase II of Jim Goll's Homeland
Security Prayer Initiative. We need to all join it in one way or another.
Your fasting must be in letting the oppressed go free. One way to do this
is through your halting all “criticism, irrational
fear, unbelief, and negative speech” This is part of the fast the Lord
requires of us . . .
Scripture teaches about fasting that looks
like this:
Isa 58:6-9
6 "Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,
And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out;
When you see the naked, that you cover him,
And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning,
Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
And your righteousness shall go before you;
The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
9 Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer;
You shall cry, and He will say, 'Here I am.'

Launching Phase II of the Homeland Security
Thanks goes to the many prayer
warriors across the nations who have joined us in praying Psalm 91 over the
United States of America and Israel for the first 91 Days of 2003. Your
prayers have made a huge difference! But the battle is not yet over – it has
just begun. Though our Prayer Initiative took us up through April 1, 2003,
let’s continue!
Therefore, I have been seeking the
Lord for the next step in His strategy for Phase II of the Homeland Security
Prayer Initiative. He has directed my meditation on the battle for the city
of Jericho.
Lessons From the Battle of Jericho
“Remember Jericho!” should be our
motto right now. How did they take the city? Remember - they walked around
the city in silence once for six days and then on the seventh day they
walked in silence for seven times. Finally they lifted up a shout to the
Lord that was one of pure speech. It was one that the Holy Spirit could blow
upon. It was a sound of praise that rocked their world. And the walls came
tumbling down!
In like manner, I call you forth into
a PRAYER STORM of silencing the voice of the enemy. I feel the Holy
Spirit is calling his prophetic intercessors to starve out the spirit of
criticism, irrational fear, and unbelief that is on the loose in these days
through a fast. Not a fast of food or drink – but a fast of critical,
unbelieving, negative speech. Join me and thousands of others in this
act of identificational, representational repentance. “Seldom will be heard
a discouraging word” – as we march forward in the spring when armies go out
to war. As goes the church – so goes the nation(s). Let’s be salt and light!
Our weapons are divinely powerful to
the destruction of the enemy’s strongholds. Let’s fast from these negative
forms of speech and release the opposite spirit and the nature of Christ
Jesus our Lord. Then let’s lift a shout of High Praise that the victory is
the Lord’s.
7 Points of Agreement
· Join
us in Fasting for 40 Days from all forms of “criticism, irrational fear,
unbelief, and negative speech”. Starve out the devil! Get filled with faith
and godly expectations.
· Come
out of agreement with the accuser of the brethren, confess our individual
and corporate sins and be cleansed by the powerful blood of Jesus Christ.
· Continue
to Pray Psalm 91 and add Psalm 57 for the next 40 days. Pray for the Holy
Spirit Border Patrol Guard to continue to be released over the borders of
the U.S. and Israel. Support all those in authority through prayer and
intercession. CONTINUE!!!
· Declare
that the “Best is Yet to Come!” Prophesy Life to your city, the U.S., (or
your nation) and to Israel and Iraq. Declare that the “earth is the Lord’s
and the fullness thereof!”
· Praise
the Lord! Let Judah arise! Let the high praises of God be in our mouths.
Declare the walls to the Gospel of Islam shall come down and that open
heavens shall prevail over the Middle East, the United States and over your
region!
·
Believe the Lord for
great breakthroughs to manifest on the end of the 40th Day of
this fast from “criticism” which is Mother’s Day, May 11, 2003 in the body
of Christ and the nations.
· Be
sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s personal applications that you are to include
in your Prayer Storm. Seek Him for more details.
