Thank you all for standing in prayer
with us here at The Elijah List--for the souls of ALL men and women in ALL
nations in this hour of War that has come
upon many countries.
Â
Some
of you may remember that Chuck Pierce began prophesying that we were
entering a 7-year season of War. This was first published by the Elijah
List on October 6, 2002Â (Â seeÂ
http://www.elijahlist.com/words/display_word.html?ID=1312Â )Â Â We have
known, that according to Scripture , the Word of God does say, "there is a
time for war."Â Jesus himself said that both wars and rumors of wars would
take place until the end.Â
Â
And
while most of us have felt to ask the Father, as Jesus did, "Lord if there
is ANY OTHER WAY, let this cup pass, nevertheless, war came.
Â
It
is precisely at such times that Jesus Himself told His followers not to be
alarmed. He even said "such things MUST happen."
Â
Â
Mark 13:7-8
"Â When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things
must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against
nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various
places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains. "
Â
Â
It's about Lost and Dying Souls
that Jesus Is Concerned:
Â
Regardless of which Continent or
Country you reside in, Jesus Christ shed his blood for the souls of all who
live there who will receive him. Therefore, we stand WITH CHRIST in
this hour, praying for the souls of those in war and the souls of those
who have stayed at home.Â
Â
As
one woman at our local fellowship felt led to pray this Sunday, She prayed
something like this, "Lord, even as some of the unsaved soldiers on either
side-- may lay dying, will you reveal yourself to them and may they even
as they are dying, receive Jesus and be eternally SAVED!
Â
Â
Because WITH
JESUS'  BLOOD, they have already been "purchased."
Â
Rev 5:9-10
"And they sang a new song:
You are worthy to
take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your
blood you purchased men for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation. "
Â
Yes, Pray for Peace as soon as
possible.
Â
Pray for as little loss of life
as possible and a quick resolution.
Â
Yes, Pray that our Leaders will
be given great wisdom.
Â
But also, Pray for Revival to
break forth in all nations through this situation.
Â
Pray for those who are lost, to
be found! Some have even criticized such things, calling conversions done
on the battlefield,(almost unkindly) "fox hole conversions." --- as if
"fox-hole" conversions would be considered to be somehow --"substandard."Â
But how could any conversion, be a less quality conversion than any other
conversion?
I think Jesus will take any conversion He can get! For it is His Will
that NONE should perish but that all should come to repentance. (John 3:16
, 2 Peter 3:9)Â
