Dominique has been our "French Connection" with the Elijah List since almost
day one. In fact, because of Dominique, more than one conference has taken
place in Paris. This Summer, in fact, there will be the first "official"
Elijah List Prophetic conference in Paris, (tentatively scheduled for June
26 and 28.)
I believe it is HIGHLY IMPORTANT that our Elijah List readers get
a fresh and current perspective from Christians in France during this time
of Political upheaval regarding the War in Iraq.

Dear American Friends,
As a French woman, born in Paris, I would like to address a very painful
issue which has literally broken my heart since yesterday.
I have received two very appalling emails from Christians in the U.S.A. who
are basically opposing France for not agreeing with America on the Iraq war,
and one of them is even advertising and participating in a boycott of the
French products.
Remember first of all that, as French citizens, we have
absolutely no control over the decisions that are made by our government.
Therefore we may be for or against the American strategy, without any one of
you knowing what we think.
My point is that, as dedicated Christians, before being American or French,
we are citizens of heaven, called to peace and unity, not to war against
each other on political issues. God commands his blessing on unity and He
has an unfathomable plan for America and France TOGETHER. We must discern
that in the spiritual and not be stuck on the current dissension we see in
the natural, that could very well be orchestrated by the enemy, who knows
the potential we have.
When I accepted the Lord in my heart 33
years ago in a Billy Graham campaign, I thought to myself that I will never
forget that the American people came to deliver my people at the cost of
their children's blood in 1945, and that God used an anointed American
vessel to bring me the true life of Christ. In the following years, I
received a call from the Lord to become a person with a mission to America,
and since, have made 40 some trips to your beautiful country. I have often
introduced myself as a French with American blood running in my veins.
Today, as tears run down my cheeks as I
write this, I would give my life in the spur of a moment for America. I
mourned for weeks over the tragedy of 9.11, and these days, I cannot watch
the GIs getting ready for war without feeling completely heartbroken on
their behalf.
If Satan manages to have us divided on this issue, he will have won the
greatest battle of all, and I think that those who have not yet felt that
the heart of the Father is completely broken over the mess mankind has
engendered this days, I just pray that He will impart it to the many
Spirit-filled Christians who are now ready to throw the stone at us.
At this point, we certainly don't need to be opposed and cursed. Although
there are 61 millions French, only 0.5% of the population have a personal
knowledge of Jesus-Christ and I cannot thank the Lord enough for the
courageous American missionaries from all denominations who have left
everything behind in order to bring the gospel to us. Please pray with
us, pray for us. Pray that the French Christians will be so much filled with
the glory of the Lord, that they will bring multitudes back to the Father.
