A SEVEN-DAY EXTENSION TO RECEIVE "AND GOD CREATED THE INTERNET"

Because there has still been a lot of interest in the Internet tape, I want to make it available for just a few more days. You can order right way by credit card via email, on the phone, or by mail with a check (order form below), but I thought I'd remind you what it's all about.

PRAYING THAT DIVIDING WALLS WILL BE BROKEN

For years, the church has interceded with all that was within it, to ask the Lord to tear down dividing walls in and between churches, believers, and groups of believers.

In, I believe, direct answer to those prayers, the Lord brought to us the Internet, where, in the U.S. alone, 17,000 NEW Internet users are signing on every day. (This isn't the only way the Lord is answering that prayer about dividing walls, of course, but it's a big one.)

CHINA AS EASY AS NEXT DOOR

We now correspond with and share our faith with a teenager in North Central China, whose father works for the government. She has a Bible we gave her and her parents regularly send their best to us!

I receive email from Believers in Saudi Arabia, Israel, Australia, Tasmania, Hong Kong, South Africa, Finland, etc. etc. thanking me/us for encouraging them in the Lord.

AFTER SUNDAY COMES MONDAY

After the Sunday service is over, Monday arrives and now the heat is on. Within hours, the enemy has so beaten Believers down that they need encouragement DURING THE WEEK and on a regular basis.

This is why the Scripture teaches:

Heb 3:13 13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.

IT'S STILL CALLED "TODAY"

Last I checked, we called what I live through the last 16 hours or so --"TODAY." As long as we call it that, the Lord calls US to encourage one another. I know of one situation where a friend living in Oregon has her most intimate prayer partner (two ladies)--living in South Africa and the Scripture is clear--wherever two or more gather in my name, there I am in the midst of them.

I love the "local church" but there is a lot more "church" happening outside the church walls than ever before and much of it is on the Internet.

PASTORS-- A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT FOR YOU.

I truly believe that the Lord has given me some strategic ideas for how the pastor of a large church can more connect with most of the people in his congregation DURING THE WEEK. On Sunday, you are lucky and blessed if you can connect with four or five people in a quality way. But those sheep need encouraging! (I know and understand, I was on the pastoral staff of a church and now I understand the pressure to "feed the sheep" and the impossibility (or so it would seem) of doing so--when there are so many sheep.

Here are some points on this tape:
