   A Word about "CELEBRITY" in the Body of Christ

   For the last 2-3 years, the Lord has continually spoken to me and shown me
   how ALL OF HEAVEN sees each and every Believer in Jesus as a Celebrity. We
   are actually famous among the angels of Heaven.
   Luke 15:6-7
   "I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing
   in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine
   righteous persons who do not need to repent."
   1 Peter 1:11-12
   "It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves
   but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told
   you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy
   Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things."
   God loves ALL of HIS CELEBRITIES...that's
every one of you and me.
   Also, in the same way, He has strategically placed celebrities (who are
   celebrities in the sight of man) in key locations for specific times.
   One only needs to study the lives of Abraham, Joseph, Daniel, and of
   course, Esther.
   God has and is placing Esther's...both
SEEN and UNSEEN, both KNOWN
   and UNKNOWN Esther's throughout the world in key places, where their
   names either are-- or will soon BECOME---- known.
   He has a high purpose for this:
   Acts 17:26 even alludes to it:

   would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though
   he is not far from each one of us."

   AN ESTHER IN MY VIEW: KIM ALEXIS

   One such Esther I have come to know is supermodel Kim Alexis.
   Derene and I have stayed in touch with her over a long period of time
   and have found Kim to be humble in spirit and willing to serve the Lord
   however she can. She has been a frequent guest on CBN and TBN. By the way,
   Kim has been a long-time subscriber to THE ELIJAH LIST as well.
   While Kim Alexis is believed to hold the all-time record for the most
   magazine covers for any supermodel in history, when I asked her for her
   own bio for this article, this is what she sent me:

Dear ELIJAH LIST (and other) Readers,
I have been learning a lot about trials and a changing life in the last couple
of years. So much so, that when 2002 came around and our pastor called it the
"year of turnaround" I grasped on to that concept.
It kept me going last year when life had me puzzled. I am an optimist and I kept
thinking, "It's got to end soon. This is the year of turnaround"
You can imagine my surprise when 2002 came and went and I felt like I had not
accomplished what I had been striving for! Where was my turnaround in my
situations?
Well, as I was in church singing my heart out to God, He gave me this comforting
thought...
"Imagine a speed boat. Imagine it going fast in one direction."
To turnaround (or do a "U turn", what must happen to it? First, it has to slow
down! Then as it makes it's turn, the wake from all of the past direction
catches up to the stern (the back of the boat) and almost overwhelms the boat,
many times causing water to flood into the back of the boat.
As the boat turns, waves from the past direction also hit the side of the boat.

THINGS MUST SLOW DOWN FOR YOU TO CHANGE DIRECTION

Now remember, the boat must be going slow to handle the change of
direction. And it gets turbulence and waves from the past direction and it has
not even seen the new direction yet!.
As it finally comes out of a U-turn, it needs a lot of gas to get the speed up
again (a lot of energy!) What would happen if the boat came out of a turn and
did not give the boat speed? It would stop dead in the water much easier than if
it had stopped when going in a straight line.
Do you get my parable here?
God is saying that to have your life turn around, there are a lot of physical
things-- a lot of personal changes--- that come with the change of direction!
So, if you have been waiting for a U-turn in your life, think "speed boat."
Change direction. Take the waves and get enough energy (which comes only from
the Lord) to start again in the new direction!
Your speed boat will then take off!
