We are preparing this�following some of the most significant prophetic
releases that we have encountered in recent memory.� For us, it seems a new
season of spiritual revelation began with the conference in Salt Lake City
during early October.�
�A
NEW DIMENSION OF THE SPIRIT�
�On the last
evening of that conference, a flaming meteor illumined the evening sky,
seemingly as a prophetic affirmation that a new day is dawning that will be
characterized by the demonstration and revelation of the Kingdom of Heaven.�
There is no question in our hearts that this past Atonement season opened
the door to new dimensions of the Spirit and access to sacred places in Him.
At the inauguration of the Lord's earthly ministry, the Scriptures point out
that He went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming
the message of the Kingdom while healing all manner of sickness and all
manner of disease.� (Matthew 4:23)� This divine commission will be embraced
and demonstrated by a body of people in this generation who have encountered
the Lord on a personal and experiential basis and allowed their will to be
yielded to His.
It seems the many revelations received in recent weeks have been pointing to
that commission and the continued preparation necessary to walk in it�s
reality.� Further in the newsletter we will discuss the recent meetings in
Tri-Cities, Washington and Albany, OR which brought a series of insightful
visions and revelations through the ministry team.� They are quite strategic
for this hour and at the same time immensely encouraging.
Be A Good Steward
When we first began that series of meetings, the Holy Spirit seemed to be
saying that we must be careful not to squander or overlook important
revelations delegated to us.� This was highlighted through a prophetic word
that we brought with Bob Jones in 1999 that was recently fulfilled during
the national elections.
The prophetic word was posted on our web site in the summer of 1999 and
primarily addressed the presidential election.� Thankfully, the Lord was
able to accomplish His purpose during that election and, I believe most
everyone would agree with the wisdom of the choice, considering recent
events.� Consolidated with that word was a prophetic indication that
envisioned the election of George W. Bush restoring the Republican Party to
a position of favor.� The actual prophetic word read as follows:
BUSH�
WILL INCLINE HER EAR TO THE PROPHETIC WORD
�
The vision is
speaking of George W. Bush as one who would incline his ear to the Word of
the Lord expressed through prophetic revelation and reflects his desire to
lead this nation in righteousness.
According to the
vision, He has an open heart for Christians crossing all barriers....Bob
also saw a woman who �had not felt loved for 8 years.� This seemed to be
representing the Republican Party. The Lord displayed this woman starved for
affection being affectionately kissed causing a tremendous and gracious
response from her. This is not to advocate one political party
over another; rather, to convey that Bush has affectionately joined himself
to this party and if successful would return a position of favor to this
group.
With God�s favor,
he would be able to help turn the nation around during a time of Divine
Justice providing a standard of righteous leadership as this nation�s most
powerful elected official. When judgments of the Lord are in the land, men
learn righteousness.
Political leadership in no way usurps
the position of the church in providing Godly direction in a nation. Even
so, the scriptures clearly admonish the church to pray for our civil
authorities. This applies not only to the pending election but also to
present leadership and especially our current President as many important
decisions are yet to be made that could directly influence the direction of
our country.��
Even in the midst of pending judgment or Divine justice, the Lord is already
making provision for mercy. A leader is being prepared that will pursue a
standard of righteousness that will help lead this nation back to Godliness.
Ultimately, the church must take the leadership role in turning the hearts
of this generation back to that of our apostolic fathers. However, political
leadership can also determine the direction of a nation leading to
repentance and divine favor. Many of the things that we are receiving
from the Lord are conditional upon the willingness of the church to pray.
The Scriptures declare, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall
humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked
ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will
heal their land." ( 2 Chr 7:14)
From:�� The Upcoming Presidential
Elections� July 1999
"As pointed out in the original
prophecy, this is not to signify that the Lord is distinguishing one
political party over another.� However, He is interested in the affairs of
men.� He is also perfectly wise in understanding which leadership would
provide an environment most suitable for the release of His Kingdom purposes
in the earth.
We believe recent national elections
were a fulfillment of that portion of the prophecy with a restoration of
favor upon the Republican Party and focuses on the coming Justice of God
that is to be released in our nation.� It is also specifically pointing to a
passage in Isaiah that we believe will characterize the coming days.��.
.
���� Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, and therefore
He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of
justice; how blessed are all those who long for Him.� O people in Zion,
inhabitant in Jerusalem, you will weep no longer. He will surely be gracious
to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you.
Although the Lord has given you bread of privation and water of oppression,
He your Teacher will no longer hide himself, but your eyes will behold your
Teacher.� Your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in
it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left.� (Isa 30:18 21)
Beholding Our Teacher
Although we have seemingly received from the Lord, "bread of privation and
water of oppression," our Teacher is no longer going to hide Himself from
us.� Furthermore, this passage promises that our eye will behold our Teacher
and our ears will hear a word behind us saying "this is the way, walk in it"
when we turn to the right or left.
I cannot think of a more profound promise.� All across the body of Christ
there are many hungry hearts longing to encounter the Lord for themselves.�
For them, it is not enough to simply hear reports of others who have
discovered the Lord in a profound way.� It must be an experiential
appointment that transforms us and opens the door for a new day.
The justice of God is a rendering of blessings upon the righteous and
judgment upon unrighteousness.� We have also been bringing a message
involving �The Economy of Heaven� and the divine wisdom that is working to
unleash in our day an unprecedented deposit of grace that will launch us
into the promised end-time ministry.
The "bread of privation and water of oppression� has been for the purpose of
grooming a body of people who will become good stewards of the mysteries and
power of Heaven and who will not squander their inheritance.� Once achieved
in the hearts of His faithful servants, this outpouring of His Spirit can be
sustained.�
Throughout history we have discovered the disheartening brevity of prior
expressions of revival and outpouring.� The Lord seems to be prophetically
indicating that He is desiring to release something that is not short-lived
but long-term and sustained through His people who move from Glory to Glory.
�
When The
Towers Fall
I am not certain if the prophet Isaiah foresaw the events of Sept. 11, 2001
but one could certainly surmise that the wording chosen for this passage
could accurately reflect this day and the desire of Heaven.� In the day that
"the towers fall" there is a promised release of divine power and grace that
will cause the moon (the Church) to shine with the brightness of the sun and
the sun will be illumined with the light of seven days.
On every lofty mountain and on every high hill there will be streams
running with water on the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.�
The light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the
sun will be seven times brighter like the light of seven days, on the day
the LORD binds up the fracture of His people and heals the bruise He has
inflicted.�� (Isa 30:25 26)
This will be accomplished when the Lord begins to heal the fracture of His
people and mend the wound that He has inflicted.� During the conference in
Albany, OR, Bob Jones was given a profound vision that points to the reality
of this passage and much more.� We hope to more fully address this
visitation in a future article.� However, it is important to point out that
during this visitation from a Heavenly messenger, specific instructions were
given to those yearning to walk in the day that witnessed creative miracles
and the restoration of lame lambs and organs.
WHAT THE HEAVENLY MESSENGER
EMPHASIZED
The Heavenly messenger emphasized this ministry will be demonstrated when
unity among brethren becomes reality.� This is a much more important
issue with the Lord than most recognize.� If the Lord can find just a few
willing to lay down their lives (plans, agendas and ministries) for their
brothers, He will transform cities and regions.�
Of course, this is not speaking of a pseudo form of counterfeit unity that
will also permeate this generation.� Rather, it is one birthed in genuine
love and fraternal affection among those bound by this commitment.� Clearly,
the Lord is not deceived with our false attempts to create something in our
own mind or image.� One of the things that characterized the ministry of the
apostle Paul was his willingness to lay down his life as a living sacrifice
for the people with whom and to whom he ministered.
For I am afraid that perhaps when I come I may find you to be not
what I wish and may be found by you to be not what you wish; that perhaps
there will be strife, jealousy, angry tempers, disputes, slanders, gossip,
arrogance, disturbances;�� (2 Cor 12:20)
The messenger pointed out that ambition among the brethren opens the door
for suspicion and suspicion brings competition and competition breeds
division.� When suspicion and competition are present, it will motivate
leaders to discredit or undermine other leaders they feel threatened by.�
This kind of spirit cannot exist in the hearts of those whom the Lord
desires to release substantial spiritual power and authority.� It will
actually disqualify some if not properly dealt with and submitted to the
grace of God and the work of His Spirit.
We have continued to receive the affirming word that prophetic
mandates are being released for cities and regions.� The way
people like us do ministry will be substantially changed in the coming
days.� Our emphasis will become centered around a regional message, not
simply for one church or another.� It will be as it was during the days that
the apostle John was caught up to Heaven and received divine messages for
the body of believers living in the seven regions of Asia.
A New Format
This newsletter will be the last for 2002 and will mark a notable change in
the presentation of our newsletters and also set the stage for a new format
to be more fully inaugurated in 2003.� In fact, we anticipate, with the
Lord's help, to prepare a printed newsletter early next year that will
expound considerably on the subject matters the Lord is having us address.�
The electronic newsletter will continue but will be an abbreviated form of
what we hope to present more fully in the printed form.
Over the last few years we have received multitudes of requests from our
readers to begin sharing more insight on prophetic interpretive principles
involving types, symbols, and methods of understanding.� Without question,
there is a great need for this and we hope to begin that process in this
issue and the ones to follow.�
Specifically, it is our intent to address the principles incorporated in
receiving, understanding, and applying spiritual revelation.� We have a
strong belief that there are no hard and fast definitions that can be
applied in every circumstance.� However, there are principles and tools of
understanding that believers can embrace that assist in this process of
pursuing the Lord and the communications He imparts.
A Fireside Chat With Bob Jones
With that in mind, I would like to announce that we will begin in 2003 a
monthly series of "Fireside Chats with Bob Jones."� In it, I will ask him
many of the questions that we have received from you.� Through this forum, I
will also give in narrative form the answers that he shares.� It
will include methods of interpretation for dreams and visions as well as the
understanding we have gained for applying certain principles.� For instance,
many saints are receiving revelations involving the colors of the spectrum.�
Very often there are specific applications to the colors but there are also
other meanings that can be given through the application of these
principles.
The initial issues of the newsletter for the next year will be foundational
and written from the perspective that we will build upon that foundation
through future issues.� Again, the printed newsletter, when prepared, will
present much more extensively the articles than the one submitted through
the electronic medium.
THE
FIELD OF LIGHT, SOUND AND COLOR
Further, we will also include a section from our friend Barry Stephen
Goldfarb who has been embraced as part of our team and carries great
understanding in the field of Light, Sound and Color.� He has the unique
perspective of having immense natural understanding of this field and also a
spiritual awareness that gives it application and meaning.
As a body of believers, we are receiving the invitation to
experience the very Throne of Heaven.� Our call is
to �come up here� that He may show us great and mighty things which we
presently do not know.� It is the invitation of Revelations
4:1.� In this place we discover great activity surrounding His Throne
involving light, sound, colors and spiritual beings that we believe the Lord
desires to give considerable insight into.
With that introduction, we would like to present our first feature article
with Barry.� This introduction into the world of spiritual and natural
light, sound and color will set the course for future articles and insight
on this subject.� By the help of the Holy Spirit, we hope to bring greater
comprehension to this fascinating dimension of God's reality.�
We are living in the generation with the opportunity and admonition to be
anointed with the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the knowledge of Christ
and the fullness of our inheritance in Him.� Our prayer is that these
articles will not only provide valuable information but also an anointing of
the Spirit that allows us to move deeper into the vastness of God and create
greater hunger for Him.

On An Eternal Light and Sound

Mine is a world in miniature. A world of marvelous intricacy. Monumental
simplicity. Extraordinary stillness. For mine is a world where God lives. A
world of light and color, sound and energy. A three dimensional - no four -
immersive world, that saturates our senses to overwhelming affirmation of a
living God.
Perhaps this is a strange way to begin a dialogue about light and color,
sound and music. But this is no ordinary subject based purely in the science
of facts and figures, nor of art, where poetic license is often given to
flights of pure fancy. No. Rather this is an introduction to a study about
the nature and character of sound and light, based in the spiritual depths
where both knowledge and wisdom live. Where facts alone do not make truth;
and where art is more than entertainment, story telling, pretty pictures,
words, songs and movies.
GRASPING SOUND AND LIGHT IS A
HOLY MATTER
To grasp the meaning of sound and light from the perspective in which I am
wanting to speak from, we must first recognize that this is a Holy matter. A
divine area. Not a casual nuts and bolts mental curiosity, based in this
moment of time - but rather, an important insight to prepare us for what God
is about to let us experience---
An Eternal Light and Sound.
And so, we must understand not merely the nature of light as we have come to
recognize it, but the divine nature of light. The divine nature of sound; as
the very material substance that God uses as His creative medium. In other
words, we can not begin to fully appreciate what God is about to reveal to
us 'through' light and sound (and their products, color and music), from our
present perspective. We need to renew our minds, and our hearts for what
is about to take place. We need new information, and a new perspective, in
order to even begin to comprehend this Eternal Light and Sound as something
both familiar, yet entirely different from anything we've ever known before.
In a context we've never thought in before.
That said, let us begin thinking of music as organized sound, and color as
components of light. Although vastly different in many respects, both sound
and light are distant relatives of the same family. A family whose members
stretch throughout the entire universe. This family, known simply as
the electro magnetic spectrum, includes cosmic-rays, gamma rays, X-rays,
ultra violet radiation, visible light, infrared radiation, microwaves, and
radio waves. I have come to believe that these amazing properties, together
with those yet unknown, are the fundamental elements of God's palette - from
which He creates 'everything'!
Considering
Our Modern Age
To give you an idea of the vastness of this spectrum's unlimited potential,
let us consider our present world, what we call the modern age. This era
really began for us around the time of the second world war, when man began
to discover how to tap into the resources hidden within the electro magnetic
spectrum. Many wonders which we take for granted today were born out of this
period. Radio and television. Radar. The telephone. Electricity. The light
bulb. Atomic energy. None of these could exist without the electro
magnetic spectrum.
Swing across the last one hundred years and add in everything from the micro
chip, to the microwave oven, and we realize that when we began to access the
electro magnetic spectrum we became empowered with an ability to do more
with less! By tapping into this well of mostly invisible 'stuff', the modern
age, civilization as we have come to know it, was (is) made possible.
Now consider this.... We are only utilizing a minute fraction of the
potential (wealth of resources) lying dormant in this (God's) amazing
palette!
With that as a backdrop, let's add that when the Lord our God
designed us, He gave us five fundamental sensory systems with which to
explore the world around us. Sight, scent, taste, touch, and hearing. {"Eye
has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the
things which God prepared for those who love Him." [1 Cor. 2:9] .
So, on the one hand we have limited sensory faculties, and on the other we
move through a world of limitless, untapped potential. {"It is the
glory of God to to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out
a matter." [Proverbs 25:2] .
The Senses
With our ears we are able to hear tiny pushes and shoves of molecules of air
- the results of vibrations caused when a disturbance (such as a bird
chirping, a dog barking, a thunder cloud bursting, a violin playing, etc.
etc.) is introduced into otherwise still air.
With our eyes we perceive the shape, size, and color of objects; also their
distance, motions, and relationship to one another. Light is the stimulus
for the sense of sight - the raw material of vision.
Color is the essence of light. Light the essence of life.
Now, imagine an art form that would be to the eye as music is to the ear.
For that matter, imagine an art form that would be to all our sensory
faculties as music is to our ears.
I BELIEVE IT'S POSSIBLE
I believe that such an art form is possible. But it will be
entirely different from anything we have ever known, or imagined. To enable
such a form to exist, we would need to tap deeper into the electro magnetic
spectrum. We would have to begin to think of sound and light not only as
family members within the electro magnetic spectrum, but also as materials -
as actual, tangible "substances". No object. No image. Pure material energy.
Here, you would not only hear the sound of music, you would see it. Not only
would you see music, you would be able to taste it - smell it - touch it.
This requires a new vocabulary. I believe God wants to speak to us in a
deeper, more intimate, more advanced way than words could ever accomplish.
In the past, through certain kinds of (timeless) pieces of music, written
over the centuries by composers who were inspired by God, the Lord has
hinted to us. Called out to us to come to a greater understanding about His
nature. His universe. His heart. His mind.
Have you ever been
so absorbed in a piece of music that you felt as if you went to another
place? I believe that music - that level of music - uses a vocabulary of a
different nature - one which is in fact struggling to reach out to us -
through the limits of our ear-gate - to show us a place. Not a place made of
brick and mortar, nor of physical things. But of Eternal Light and Sound.
As we continue to move forward with our example of this imaginary art form -
(made out of the same electro magnetic spectra our God uses to create with)
- we recognize that by the very nature of this material, that is, a
substance which is three dimensional, that, like music which fills the air,
engulfing us in a sea of sound, that suddenly light is doing the same....
Unlike any other
art form; be it painting, sculpture, filmmaking, etc; which can be used to
tell a story, communicate an idea, depict a feeling..... only music can
create a 'place'. Within the right kind of music, (by right I mean a type of
music not created by man, but by God through man, in the same way He speaks
to us through His prophets over the centuries), a place is made manifest.
This place lives in a fourth dimension; that of time. It communicates that
place in time. It is always brand new. It not only lives in time. It shapes
time - using molecules of air to sculpt with.
..... but..... if we could see it! If we could touch it - taste it - smell
it - enter into it, or, as we do when looking out at the night sky - observe
it, from our own perspective in space.... we would experience an art form
that is more than a story telling medium. More than the 'effects' of
light onto pigment, (earth). More than an idea frozen in stone, or an
emotional word picture begotten through the written word - we would be
transported to a place.
Hence, it is here, from this rarified, marvelous, wonderful perspective,
that our journey into understanding, not the nature, but the Super-Nature,
of light and sound, in its eternal, material, substantial context can be
explored.... for such a time as this!
For now we know in part, and prophesy in part. But, when that which
is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I
was a child, I thought as a child, but when I became a man, I put away
childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly. But the, face to face.
Now I know in part, but then I shall know, also as I am known.� [1
Corinthians 13: 9-12]
In our next session we will begin to explore a new vocabulary. We will
develop a spectrum understanding about color, and begin heading toward a new
way of thinking.
