In the Spirit I saw churches exchanging one
another's names for Christmas and the New Year just like many families do this
time of year in order to show their love to each other through exchanging
gifts.
I heard the Lord speaking to many pastors and churches this season. "Would you
be willing to take a name of a church near you (any church as long as it is
not yours) and pray that I will bless it with "spiritual fruit baskets" and My
"gifts of the Spirit" and bring a mighty move of Me upon it?"
THE FATHER'S REQUEST SEEMED SO UNTIMELY
This Father's request seemed so untimely to
many for most pastors and churches were already overwhelmed with their own
problems and trials. It seemed they needed more prayer themselves for they
were not experiencing honest breakthroughs in their own churches.
But a few desperate pastors and churches were so hungry for a move of God
anywhere - even in the church down the street if needs be - they began to pray
outside of themselves and outside of their own churches.
I saw the enemy tremble as churches were taking their eyes and
minds off of their own selves and thinking of others by praying for the church
next door. The enemy started screaming to his demons "Don't let
them forget about themselves and their own problems for that alone will become
half of their victory. The other half of victory for them will be if they
even think about blessing that church next door - that thing we dread the most
- "The habitation of God" will cancel our assignment to write Ichabod over
their own front door!"
EXCHANGING STRENGTHS WITH EACH OTHER
A powerful exchange was happening. Not only were names of
churches being exchanged in the spirit but as these churches began to pray for
one another their strengths were being exchanged also with each other and were
canceling out one another's weaknesses.
Each church seemed to have a certain strong anointing and gift
that began to be exchanged with each other as they prayed. I heard
the Lord decreeing over these churches, "Confess your faults one to another
and pray one for another, that you may be healed!"
As churches continued in praying one for another, "gifts" from the
enemy that had been post marked and delivered to the front door of these
churches began to be unwrapped and exposed as angels encamped around these
churches began to stamp these cancelled assignments from hell -
"Undeliverable! Return to sender!"
I saw snow falling in the spirit upon these churches. Love was covering and a
cleansing from sin was taking place as a pure "presence" of the Lord became
the greatest "present" we were receiving together!
It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
This exchanging of names by the Holy Spirit seemed not only for the Christmas
season but for the whole New Year!
As the birth of Christ was being celebrated this season
through these churches praying for each other, I sensed that new spiritual
births, multiple births of miracles and power of healings would be born in
these churches in the coming year as they continued praying one for another.
