In a dream, I saw spiritual leadership in
the Body of Christ come under
extremely violent enemy fire in spiritual warfare. I watched as enemy
artillery opened up like a flood, firing relentlessly at leadership.

WHATEVER THE ENEMY THREW AT THEM, THEY WERE STILL STANDING
-----------------------------------------------------------
The miracle in this dream was that in spite
of all of the bombardment of
enemy fire, I could see the leadership for the most part was still
standing in the fire!

BUT. . . THE LEADERSHIP BEGAN TO TAKE FATAL HITS-- FROM FRIENDS!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Then as I waited, a most horrifying thing
happened. Many in leadership
that withstood the enemy's fire now began to get hit fatally. These
hits came not from the enemy but from comrades or friends that were very
close to them. These in leadership were being wounded and struck down
by "friendly fire!"
It seemed like some freak accident or
misunderstanding, but these wounds
were deep and became fatal.
The dream ended.

THE REAL ENEMY'S PLAN WAS TO STRIKE AT THE HEAD
-----------------------------------------------
As I was burdened to pray for our spiritual
leadership, I saw in the
spirit a huge spiritual gun or artillery weapon poised and aimed with
its sites right on the leadership which represented the head of the Body
of Christ.
The Lord showed that although many members
of the His Body have been
attacked, the real aim and plan of the enemy is to STRIKE AT THE HEAD.
If you destroy the head of the Body, you will destroy every member of
it.
I sense with all of the buffeting going on
with many members in the
Body, our focus has been distracted and we have neglected to pray and
lift up our leadership as we should. I sense the enemy sees an
opportunity to strike at the head at this time of the Head being
vulnerable or open for attack.

"LIFT UP YOUR HEAD"
--------------------
I sense God is saying to us as a Body, "Lift
up your head ( leadership
), I want to anoint it. I want to anoint your leadership with fresh
oil. I want to anoint My Body from the crown of its head to the soles
of its feet. I want to anoint you."
God has a plan in our day of battle. God's
plan is His Anointing. His
anointing destroys every yoke!
It's scriptural to anoint the body starting at the head. God's
anointing only comes from Him above. And when it comes down-- it comes
first upon the head (leadership) then runs down over the whole Body---
breaking every yoke that the enemy throws at us as it flows down. The
anointing, when present-- produces the miracles and deliverance and
wonders. It naturally does those things. That is what it is like.

"GOD WANTS TO COMMAND THE BLESSINGS OF LIFE INTO OUR BODY"
----------------------------------------------------------
But more than healing, deliverance and
miracles, God wants to command
the blessing of Life into our Body. ( Psalm 133:3 )
Psalm 140:7 says, "Thou hast covered my
head in the day of battle." God
wants to cover our head. (which is our leadership) We need our head
covered. As we pray for our head for strength and anointing we will
receive the same. As the head goes so goes the Body.
Before we lift up our leadership let's lay
down the stones ( hurts,
judgments, resentments ) we may have picked up against them. In the day
of battle we can't have stones in our hands if we want God's anointing
His way.
I sense the Lord saying to us. "Lift up your
heads ( your spiritual
leaders) O ye gates (you members of the Body) and be ye lifted up you
everlasting doors, and the King of Glory shall come in. Who is this
King of Glory? The Lord mighty in battle. He is the King of Glory!
