SIGNS ON THE EARTH BELOW -- A CALL TO "SEE" SIGNS AND WONDERS

Prophecies, even from the Old Testament prophet Joel,
speak of signs on the earth. There were many things
that were signs, besides, blood and fire and smoke.
First, read as Luke Quotes Joel:
Acts 2: 18-19
"Even on my servants, both men and women,
I will pour out my Spirit in those days,
and they will prophesy.
I will show wonders in the heaven above
and SIGNS ON THE EARTH BELOW
blood and fire and billows of smoke."
but there were other signs . . .

"THE HANDWRITING ON THE WALL"

You've heard the phrase, "Well, the handwriting was 'on the wall' for him."
One sign IN THE BIBLE was a hand appearing and writing a message on the
wall. That's where this expression comes from, . . . That's right the Word
of God.
Dan 5:5-6
"Suddenly the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of
the wall, near the lamp stand in the royal palace. The king watched the hand
as it wrote. His face turned pale and he was so frightened that his knees
knocked together and his legs gave way."

UNLIKELY SIGNS
===============
God will use any SIGN, no matter how unlikely -- to let us
know HE is in charge of the events of this world and that
everything is under HIS CONTROL. It's his "handwriting on
the wall" of our hearts . . .
Some odd signs popped up the day before and the day OF 9/11.
One can be said to be a coincidence. But the second one,
the NEW YOUR LOTTO numbers are fascinating. . . on Sept. 11.
Scripture even refers to this possibility of God speaking through
the lots that are cast . . .
Prov 16:33
"The lot is cast into the lap,
but its every decision is from the LORD."

WE DON'T ALWAYS "KNOW" SOMETHING IS A SIGN
BUT SOMETIMES, IT'S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE
FOR A THING "NOT" TO BE A SIGN
===========================================
As prophetic people, we don't always know what a sign
means, and truthfully, we don't always KNOW that something
IS for certain, a 'SIGN' from the Lord.
But as we train our senses to "pay attention," you'd have
to almost be purposefully unobservant, not to see that the
Lord is saying SOMETHING.
And even when you don't know what the message is . . .
. . . one thing you can know for certain, is that, at the very
LEAST, God is saying, "I'm in control here. . . through this
unlikely sign . . .I will make you WONDER, and you will determine
that you are NOT GOD but that "I AM!"

Dear friends:
Many people believe the WTC attack on 9-11 was a major prophetic event. In
case you have not seen this yet, these two twists concerning the one-year
anniversary yesterday are interesting:
1. From Yahoo! News:
CHICAGO - In an ironic twist, the September Standard & Poor's 500 futures
contract closed Tuesday at 911.00 — a day before the one-year anniversary of
the terrorist attacks.
2. (From CNN.) ALBANY, New York (AP) -- On the first anniversary of the
terrorist attacks, a date known as 9-11, the evening numbers drawn in the
New York Lottery were 9-1-1. "The numbers were picked in the standard random
fashion using all the same protocols," said lottery spokeswoman Carolyn
Hapeman. "It's just the way the numbers came up."
Coincidence?
I am reminded that Bible teacher Chuck Missler says, "To the rabbis,
coincidence is not a kosher word."
What does it mean?
If not coincidence, perhaps just an underscoring of the prophetic importance
of 9-11-01.
