GOD ONCE AGAIN DISPLAYS HIS DIVINE PROTECTION!

Dear ELIJAH LIST readers,

I want to report to you a miraculous intervention of the Lord this morning on behalf of a very good friend and one of my very first ELIJAH LIST staffers, Yasmin. (last name left off). They now live in Florida but Yasmin, who is 18 years old-JUST arrived in Israel. (She was in our home only a few weeks ago.)

Yasmin and her whole family are dear friends. Yasmin was born in Israel but has been in the United States for the last 10 years, except for one vacation in Israel in 2000. Yasmin graduated from Christian Academy with my daughter only weeks ago. My daughter, Danielle, and Yasmin are truly best friends in this world.

Yasmin decided to go to Israel for the summer and take classes at Hebrew University. She has been there only 3 days and,-- well, I'll let you read part of her mother's email to us this morning . . .

Note from Yasmin's mom:

" . . . Yasmin might have been saved by a providential case of gastroenteritis. She just arrived in Israel 3 days ago and was initially at her grandmother's house. But yesterday they took her to the university to get registered. Since that time she was sick - vomiting several times. In fact, this am her roommate (Sha'ni) and a couple of other girls asked her if she wanted to go with them to the cafeteria for lunch but she turned them down because she was too ill.

But she had called our friend Sandi, who lives there and asked if she could spend the night with them. Sandi had just come to pick her up. They were quite near the cafeteria [where Yasmin was supposed to be except for her being sick.] As they drove out, the explosion happened, and they saw all the police and emergency vehicles go in.

So the Lord has been gracious to us, but I am thinking now of all the parents with wounded children, many of them probably in this same program and from America and all over the world.

This is very difficult to have a wounded child that far from home. We will keep you updated. Please Pray for her roommate and for the Lord's direction for Yasmin.

So, I would like to ask ELIJAH LIST readers to life up YASMIN and her family, for direction for Yasmin and give PRAISE TO THE LORD for his mighty hand to deliver Yasmin. Pray for those who have been once again Victimized by terrorists. Praise the Lord for even allowing the flu not to be healed too quickly which kept Yasmin from that Cafeteria!

Surely the Lord is good to His People.
