While setting in a Sunday evening service at my church the Holy Spirit clearly said to me "Land of Goshen." I was directed to Genesis 45:10-11.

"YOU SHALL DWELL IN THE LAND OF GOSHEN"

=======================================

"You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near to me, you and your children, your children's children, your flocks and your herds, and all that you have. There I will provide for you, lest you and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty; for there are still five years of famine."

As I began to read I sensed a great hope rising in my spirit as this scripture holds great promise for provision in troubled times. It was as if the Lord Himself was speaking to me instead of Joseph to his brothers.

As the Holy Spirit began to give me understanding of the implied meaning of this word for the body of Christ today, my spirit became heavy. Suddenly, I could relate to the brokenness of Joseph's heart for his family.........the brokenness of Jesus' heart for his family.

RELATING TO JOSEPH'S BROKEN HEART

==================================

Just as Joseph was discarded by his own, even though he was destined of God to be their provision in troubled times, Jesus too was discarded by His own, and HE IS OUR PROVISION FOR TROUBLED TIMES. We as believers know this, yet the Lord told me to "alert the body of Christ that we are just as guilty today as these were in their time."

We too, have discarded things we determined as not useful or necessary, or couldn't find a place to plug it into what's happening in our lives as we see it. We have done this on a personal level in our own lives and on a corporate level in the church.

Simply stated, we have often discarded God's plan for our own lives-- at times.

IT'S TIME TO SIMPLY TRUST GOD

=============================

We must start now, to simply trust God in all things and walk in His plan and provision. This should be a "given" for any time, but is most important for these end times we live in.

Why? Because it's not over yet!

We have been in troubled times for some time now, but it's not over! There are yet more troubled times to come, and we will need the provision God has for us to make it. Without it, we will come to poverty in all that we have!

DON'T THROW THAT STONE AWAY!

============================

Have you asked God for bread and felt like you got a stone instead. DON'T THROW THAT STONE AWAY! THAT'S YOU PROVISION AND YOUR GOING TO NEED IT AT THE APPOINTED TIME! It might not look like any bread you've seen before, but it's bread all right. How do I know? Because He promised in His word that if we asked Him for bread He wouldn't give us a stone. So even if your bread looks like every other stone you've ever seen before, believe Him, it's bread, and it will sustain you in troubled times.

JUST BECAUSE THERE IS TROUBLED TIMES IN THE LAND DOESN'T MEAN YOU AND I HAVE TO EXPERIENCE IT!

God loves us and He has a plan for our lives. He loves the world and gave His son to prove it. HE HAS A PLAN and in this plan is PROVISION for troubled times. Notice what else He said in these verses. Your choice to trust God and walk in HIS PROVISION are not going to effect you alone, but your children, your grandchildren, your possessions, and all that you have!

Some of you, while reading this, were in the process of discarding some things, but feel checked in your spirit to take another look! Others, the Holy Spirit has brought to your remembrance things you have discarded because at the time you received them they didn't look like what you thought they should look like. Let's not make the same mistake twice! It's not too late to receive them as from God! His grace is sufficient. Just repent and go back where you left them and pick them up again.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE DISCARDED JESUS AS THEIR PROVISION ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS "TURN BACK"

You and I know for those who have discarded Jesus as their provision for eternal life, all they have to do is turn back, repent of having done that, and receive Him as such and God places them in the Lamb's Book of Life, our eternal Land of Goshen.

THOUGH HIS BROTHERS DISCARDED JOSEPH, GOD DID NOT DISCARD THEM!

=====================================

Look at Joseph's brothers. God still made provision for them in spite of the fact they had discarded Joseph. All that is required is that we do what He said to do at the first. Remember what God told them through Joseph's dream. That's what started it all.

God only required that they bowed their knee before Joseph as He had said they would. When this was accomplished they entered God's provision in the Land of Goshen.

It is my prayer that we all reside in the Land of Goshen in these troubled times, with our children, our grandchildren and all that we have, being sustained by God's provision. And this we shall do with God's help.
