Outline of key issues for 2000

1. This will be a year of realignment and order.
2. There will be a release of God s power and demonstration.
3. The spirit of fear will be addressed in the Church.
4. There will be a transference of wealth.
5. There will be an increase in God's manifest glory that will produce harvest.

2000 - YEAR OF UNLOCKING

A Year of Unlocking. This is the year 5760 on the Jewish calendar. What does that mean? A good interpretation would be, May this be the year of revealing hidden treasures, remedies, healing powers, or virtue needed to attain desire. Consequently, this will be a year of manifestation, transfer of wealth, and release of miracles. This also means that we must ask the Lord to cause His desires to become our desires or we will find ourselves attempting to satisfy desires that are not the best for our lives. Desire is a function of our emotions.

How do we move forward in the Harvest? Joshua and God's covenant people had to gain daily strategy over how to advance and possess God's inheritance that had been promised to Abraham. In other words, if they were going up against their next obstacle, whether it be a city, people or whatever, they had to get their instructions from the Lord on how to advance and what to do with the spoils of war. These examples became types and shadows for us and produce principles of harvest that we should embrace today. Within every field on earth there is a harvest.

KNOWING THE BOUNDARIES IN THIS WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY

To Secure Harvest, We Must Know Our Boundaries. When you study harvest in the Bible, you find that there was a short window of opportunity to gather the crops of the field. I believe we are entering into that window of opportunity and must begin to pray accordingly.

When Abraham responded to God's call to leave the form of worship he was practicing and follow Him, the Lord cut covenant with Abraham in Genesis 15. In this covenant, He established the boundaries of Abraham's inheritance.

Therefore, this established a precedent. God has an inheritance for us. However, our inheritance or portion has physical boundaries determined with its allotment. I like what the New International Version says: We will confine our boasting to the field God has assigned to us.

UNLOCKING OUR INHERITANCE

Therefore, going into the next millennium, it is important that each one of us know the boundaries and assignments that the Spirit of God has for us. Once these are established we can UNLOCK the inheritance within those boundaries.

Closed Doors Open! I see this year as a year of unlocking! A key in our unlocking process is to understand timing. We are not just entering into this new season; I believe it began in October 1996. But each new season has a transition time. The word transition means crossing over. We are being disciplined and established in this new time frame, entering a shift that causes us to begin to look for key "kairos" times that will start breaking forth.

PRAYING FOR "MADE-WHOLE" EMOTIONS

"Kairos" means a set opportune time for spiritual breakthrough. This phrase also means a key time to unlock what has been behind closed doors. Therefore , pray that your emotions are made whole.

How do we enter into this season and what are some key issues for us to understand now?

2000: A YEAR OF REALIGNMENT

On December 30, 1999, the Spirit of God awakened me by saying, This will be a year of realignment. I have been gathering my army. Now I will align and realign them for victory. I will create a new order. From this order many territories will be liberated.

I immediately looked up the word realign. This word means to bring into a straight line or to rearrange so an agreement and close cooperation occur, or an arrangement of events that produces a proper ground plan. Realignment is linked with timing and place.

Order is a mathematical and a military term. Order is also used in the defining of the law of arrangement. This law says that there is a sequence of events arranged or aligned in a definite plan and time that causes the proper functioning of a system, resulting in victory. Order is also linked with authority. When an authority gives a decree, order is produced. Events are aligned, and victory occurs!

TRANSFORMATION

I believe another key buzzword to understand in this new season is transform. Transform means to change the condition or nature of something, particularly producing a change in outward appearance. There is one necessary condition to accomplish the heart of the Lord concerning this realignment, order, and transformation in each of our lives: Hold on very loosely where you are-- because supernatural shifts are occurring. The Lord is aligning and connecting the gifts of His body in such a way that a new maturity will be displayed in His Kingdom and permeated to the world. We see God's order in this verse: "first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, and after that, gifts of miracles and healings."

RELEASE AND DEMONSTRATION OF GOD'S POWER

There will be a release of God's power and demonstration. The order described above is not hierarchical, but a functioning order of gifting resulting in power evangelism. Have you ever noticed the instances in the Bible where one healing, one miracle, or one deliverance caused an entire region to be liberated? This will be a year in which apostolic order produces miracles, healings, and transformation.

THE SPIRIT OF FEAR WILL BE ADDRESSED IN THE CHURCH

We must be a bold people. When though there is a growing awareness of evil abounding around us, we must be bold. Daniel is a good example. He prayed three times a day and even went to the pit (with lions) for praying. However, he kept praying and ended up ruling in the midst of his enemies.

Fear is an emotion and it is a spirit-a demon force (2Timothy 1:7). When we agree with this spirit and allow it to embed in our emotions, we grow confused and unstable. Fear agrees with a spirit of poverty. The voice of fear says, There is a lion on my path, I must hide out. This stops us from advancing. Poverty says, God is not able to deal with what is ahead on my path. The Body has been bogged in this over the last two years. Even though plots of terrorism, financial instability, increasing legalities, and government oppression lay ahead of us, we can advance with confidence!

THERE WILL BE A TRANSFERENCE OF WEALTH

When you study Canaanite history, you find that the ruling god of the Canaanites was mammon.

You also find the Lord looking for a corporate people that could go into the covenant boundaries established with Abraham and unlock all the inheritance within those boundaries. The assignment or mission that Joshua and the tribes of Israel had to accomplish was a transference of the wealth from the inhabitants of Canaan into God's covenant, Kingdom plan. Finally, 470 years after the Lord spoke to Abraham and promised him total victory within territorial boundaries, the god of mammon was defeated and the wealth held by its false worship transferred.

WHAT IS THE WEALTH?

There are several ways to look at wealth in the Bible. However, the Lord tells us in Deuteronomy 8:18, "It is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant that He swore to your fathers."

Power means vigor, strength, force or capacity-whether physical, mental or spiritual. Wealth means material substance, strength, and the spoils of war necessary to accomplish God s plan on earth. The issue of wealth should be only for the advancement of God's Kingdom. With one of the greatest spiritual Harvests ever witnessed by a generation on earth approaching, we need to begin seeing a transfer of wealth similar to what we read about in the book of Joshua. This is a season in history when wealth needs to be channeled into ministries that serve people and spread the Gospel.

GOD'S MANIFEST GLORY

There will be an increase in God's manifest glory that will produce harvest. The Third Day Church is arising. John 2 is a record of when the Lord first began to display His ministry and miracles on earth. He did this to manifest His glory and propel His Kingdom forward. We are at a shifting, changing season where this is going to happen again! Be ready! Be expectant! Be filled with joy! Transformation of society is on the way!
