I'm not sure I’m good at this. -- That is, I'm not sure that I don't sometimes covenant with Satan myself.

There IS a way to covenant with him though. Many do it.

What is it?

Well, when you praise the Lord, you extol his virtues, what he's done for your life, how good he is to you.

Covenanting with Satan the same. You recite how evil he is . . .how successful he's been, how he tricks you and trips you up at every turn.

The Lord has a word for you if you are doing this. . . . Here it is: "STOP DOING THAT!"

Jesus loves you so much. But Satan hates you and yet he wants all the Glory he can get from you. In most cases, the glory he wants from you is for you to extol all the things he does against you and your family.

MEETING WITH A SINGLE MOM

A few years ago, Derene and I used to go to this single mom's home once a week, just to talk. Just to encourage. Each time it turned into a relating of EVERY . . .SINGLE . . .DETAIL of how Satan had succeeded in her life that past week. One day the Lord told me to tell her to stop holding PRAISE and WORSHIP services for Satan.

"WHAT?" she shockingly asked?

I told her what I just told you and she agreed to "STOP DOING THAT."

I think things went better for her after that. I KNOW the Lord was more pleased with what came out of her mouth after that.

USING THE "ANOINTED" KEY ON YOUR KEYBOARD

Once in a great while, someone writes and begins to deride me, my family, the ministry, and the prophetic things we write. "False prophet" and "wolf" gets used a lot. I used to read each of those emails all the way through. Then I'd suffer all day because I'd entered into covenant agreement with the enemy Satan -- that the things he or she had said were true. Of course he or she had ALSO entered into covenant relationship with Satan to write such things.

I'm not talking against joint accountability from mature grace-oriented ministers. MANY of those speak into my life and I don't use the anointed "delete" key on them. But for those who are mean. . . Just downright mean, because they are partnering with Satan, I read the first few sentences and then use the delete key.

One time, a man and I were going round and round and no matter what I said, he rebuked me for being a false prophet because I wouldn't accept his visions.

He wrote for HOURS and he wrote longer each time I responded.

Finally, the Lord gave me (I believe) the idea to inform him (which I did) that from this point forward any email he sent to me that started off in a hateful or mean manner, I would only read the first few sentences and then I would hit delete, even if it had taken him hours to write it.

The emails stopped immediately.

WHY AM I WRITING THIS, YOU ASK?

I'm writing this because one very anointed writer for the ELIJAH LIST got some of those emails recently and it slimed this writer for the whole day. I had to tell this person my story and say, with grace, "What did you enter into agreement with Satan on this for?

"That person entered into agreement with the Accuser of the Brethren to say those awful things, including calling you a false prophet. But by taking that onto and into yourself, you have unwittingly also entered into Covenant with the same Accuser, Satan."

This person agreed and also agreed to use the anointed key the next time this happens, the DELETE key.

So, if you are getting slimed by someone who is mean-spirited (I'm not speaking of Godly pastors and leaders who need to correct you from time to time), use the anointed key.

And if you are that mean spirited person who writes, Jesus loves you more than you could ever know. But you should also know that more and more are learning how to use the anointed key, "the delete" key.

Let's learn to bless one another and nothing else.

If you have a correction, do it OOZING with grace and love and the Lord will be pleased with you. If your correction is mean, you may have wasted your time, because people are learning to use the anointed key.
