I was lifted up in the Spirit and I felt the breath of God. Then I was looking down upon the nation of Scotland.

In the vision it was night time. - and very black, but I knew I was looking down on Scotland. I saw little lights begin to shine out of the houses. I knew people were getting up in the night to pray and seek the Lord’s face. As I watched, the lights began to spread all over, especially in the North of Scotland and especially near the ocean.

A DIFFERENT LIGHT-- THE LIGHT OF THE GOSPEL

After a while, a different kind of light began to shine from the houses and spread into the various areas where the homes were positioned. The light of the Gospel began to spread. As people were praying there came a holy determination to get hold of God.

The Covenanters of the early 1600's signed the covenants with their blood in Edinburgh. The Lord showed me that as the bands of prayer warriors pray and seek His face and release their faith once again and call on the God of Covenant, He will do as He has done in the past-- He will come and "Heal the land" ( 2 Chron. 7:14)

(The Scottish Christians have always had a revelation of the Covenant and have had a gift of faith to believe that God is a Covenant keeping God. As people prayed in the great Hebrides revival 1948-52, they got hold of the fact that God was a Covenant Keeper - and refused to let go of the promise)

PROPHESIED ABOUT SCOTLAND'S REVIVAL

God will answer the prayers of the Covenanters, and their prayers are joined with the prayers of today-and the Covenant Keeper will answer -"And he ( Solomon) lifted up his hands to heaven and said, ‘Lord God of Israel there is no God in heaven or earth like You - who keeps your covenant and mercy with your servants who walk before you with all their hearts. You who have kept what you promised your servant David. You have both spoken with your mouth and have fulfilled it with your hand as it is this day" (2 Chron 6 14-15).

When James Guthrie was hanged at the cross of Edinburgh on June 1st, 1661, he confessed "Jesus Christ is my light and my life; my righteousness, my and my salvation: yea all my desire, Bless Him or ever an ever- They led him to the gallows and put a rope around his neck and covered his face. Just before the hanging took place he raised the covering from his face and prophesied to the crowd, "The Covenants. The Covenants shall yet be Scotland’s revival".

"In an acceptable time I have heard you -and in the day of Salvation I have helped you -I will preserve you and give you as a Covenant to the people to restore the earth. To cause them to inherit the desolate heritage, that you may say to the prisoners ‘go forth’ and to those who are in darkens ‘show yourselves.." (Is 49:8-9).

I saw many people come from America and Europe to Scotland to partake of the powerful prayer revival.
