On Monday, April 22, 2002, A group of five of us were allowed to prayer walk throughout much of the PENTAGON and intercede for all that goes on there. We had been invited by Milton "Bud" Greenburg [ Milton.Greenberg@HQDA.Army.Mil ] who is a civilian contractor working in the Pentagon.

[ Almost exactly a year earlier a group of four of us were allowed to do the same in the White House (some four months before September 11). We were able to poke our heads into the Oval Office (late at night) and pray for the President --who of course was not there. (I remember being blessed that the Oval Office was decorated with Native American art.) We prayed over the President's chair in the Roosevelt Room, and we prayed in the Press room, down the halls, and even over the door of the Situation Room.]

But this year, on April 22, we prayed all the way around the White House on the outside. Then we met our group at the Pentagon. Our team consisted of Wade Taylor (who writes often for the Morningstar Journal), his friend Van Tanner, My wife Derene, Lisa Cook [ lisacook30@aol.com ] ---our friend and intercessor, and myself.

THE FIRST POST-9/11 INTERCESSION TEAM IN THIS PART OF THE PENTAGON

Our group of five was accompanied by five others who work at the Pentagon (several in uniform accompanied us to pray) and one worked at the State Department, yet came over to join us in prayer.

We went through about five layers of Security (Wow!) and then we went right into the new section that is being rebuilt at "ground zero." I asked if any intercession team had yet been in this new section and I was told that we were the first to pray in the new building as a team. (I understand that within a week, another team of Pentagon employees was able to then get into that part of the building to also pray so there have now been at least two intercession teams).

GOD'S PRESENCE STRONG

Wade Taylor commented on how he really felt the Presence of the Lord as we stood now atop and in the midst of the very spot the plane it. The walls were dry walled and work (which was not going on there when we arrived) continues toward a September 11 deadline of total restoration.

We asked the Lord to redeem all the evil that had been done here and to bring Salvations to him through all of this and through the deaths of those brave men and women who gave their all. We prophesied life over that place...and that good would come through every death.

What an HONOR to pray there and to seek God on behalf of so many others who would have wanted to be there.

We prayed through a number of corridors, and outside of Donald Rumsfeld's office and outside the office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the military. We also prayed in the national press room (Again, you could truly felt the Spirit of God inside that Press room. We all noticed and agreed on this).

THE ORIGINAL GROUND ZERO

We went into the court yard in the center of the Pentagon ---the place that USED to be called "Ground Zero" (before Sept. 11). An interesting note (even humorous)-- It was called Ground Zero for years as the Soviet Union felt that that circular building in the dead center of the court yard must have been highly strategic and it would have been targeted first. They didn't realize that that circular building was the hot dog stand to feed staffers on their lunch break.)

We spent much time praying and prophesying over the Pentagon in this central courtyard. We asked the Lord to come strongly into this place. I saw some revival events being held in this central courtyard, with a vivid picture of men and women dancing before the Lord in an open demonstration of God being welcomed here. Again, we prophesied many salvations to take place in this yard.

IN THE PRAYER CHAPEL

Toward the end of our time, we went into the small chapel and spent time praying for those who come here to pray and for others who WOULD come. We ended the time there by prophesying over each of the Pentagon Staff who were with us. One man in uniform told my wife that this day would go down as one of the two most significant days of his life!! Yes Lord!!

Prior to leaving, we went to the POW photos on the wall. The Lord had shown me years ago that some more of these men would yet be recovered, even a few alive. We prayed over those photos of those yet missing POW's and asking the Lord to reveal truth and bring all the bodies anyone alive home.

We should continue to lift these missing men up. They are not forsaken of God so we must not forsake them in prayer and intercession.

GOD'S PEOPLE SUPERNATURALLY CHOSEN FOR THE PENTAGON

It was a wonderfully blessed time and it's a toss up whether we blessed these Pentagon staff more or whether they blessed us more. What an amazing thing to see so many devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ--among the very cream of the crop of our military.

Below is Lisa Cook's Vision regarding the Pentagon and the military and also that of Van Tanner. I asked them to each write up what they were shown in vision concerning the Pentagon.

THE PENTAGON REVELATION

STRATEGIC INTERCESSORS

God is putting people into key places for purposes of strategic intercession. You may be where you are right now, as Esther (Esther 4:14) was, so that you can change the fate of a nation. This revelation came to me by the Spirit of the Lord while on a prayer / intercession tour of the Pentagon with Steve Shultz, Wade Taylor and a few others. It actually came into focus while our party stood at “ground zero� inside the Pentagon. But first, I have to back up to a vision which the Lord gave me on the Sunday prior to this meeting. God used that vision to bring forth this revelation.

This vision came as the intercessors surrounded me in a circle of prayer. However, prayer quickly became intercession and then intercession manifest into full blown “travailing�. God then birthed the following vision….

THE VISION JUST PRIOR TO THE PENTAGON VISIT

"Two Mushroom Clouds" and the Lord said,

"By MY breath, this will not stand!"

In the vision, two mushroom shaped clouds came up from the earth and stood next to each other. The first cloud was small and the second became much larger. They had the appearance of an atomic cloud, yet seemed frozen in time and space, having a shape which seemed almost too defined. They appeared like a three dimensional part of a two dimensional vision.

As I stood transfixed before these awesome structures, I begin to feel a breeze blow on my skin and then increase in force becoming a wind. This ‘wind’ seemed to attack the two clouds causing them to lose definition, almost making them transparent. Yet even in their depleted form, the winds could not move the clouds.

However, as the winds continued their assault on the mushroom-shaped clouds they began to relent, losing even more definition and finally, reluctantly they were carried away into nothingness.

The Lord then spoke and said, “BY MY BREATH THIS WILL NOT STAND!�

END OF VISION

AT GROUND ZERO . .

"I SHALL BRING FORTH AN ARMY OF INTERCESSORS."

While standing there at “ground zero� inside the Pentagon, the Lord spoke again, “I shall bring forth a company of people, I will place them strategically as an army of intercessors. I will give them visions and with these visions, authority to release my spirit into specific battles. They will birth forth, through intercession, the breath of my spirit into the earth. For your enemy Satan seeks to bring premature tribulation into the earth. . ."

". . . Yet my army which is under my authority will release my presence as a “breaker� against his plans.�

INTERCESSORS IN THE PENTAGON

-----------------------------

God has placed Christian intercessors, like those working at the Pentagon, for the purposes of releasing His presence and power into the true spiritual battle which is now being reflected in the earth. He is placing them in certain places so that they will have the ability to pray SPECIFICALLY and thus release the presence of the Lord into critical areas. Praise God that He has intercessors in the seats of power, and they like Esther will be used to find favor, thus stopping the plans of the enemy.

Haman will not have his way and destroy the people of God.

THE TRIP TO THE PENTAGON

As we walked throughout the halls of the Pentagon and prayed by the leading of the Holy Spirit, it was evident that many prayers had and were going up for this Nation of ours from within the walls of the Pentagon, throughout our Nation and globally.

THE FATHER SMILING DOWN ON THOSE PRAYING

I could see the Father smiling down upon those who had (and were now) faithfully praying for this Nation and He reminded me of this verse (2 Chronicles 7:14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land)

As we approached the center of the Pentagon, also know as “ground zero� (before the Sept 11 attack), I could feel, hear and see the Heart of the Father pulsating, beating in rhythm with a new melody, with a new song that was beginning to emerge from the hearts of the men and the women that worked within the walls of the Pentagon.

A SONG OF WARFARE

At times, this new song was a song of warfare, and yet, at other times it was so sweet, so fragrant and so full of great peace, of great hope and of great love. This new song echoed throughout the Pentagon and throughout the throne room of the Great Ancient of Days.

THE LORD OPENED A VISION TO ME . . .

I then looked heavenward, and the Lord opened a vision to me. I saw a great cloud of witness’s including Angelic Hosts that encircled around a window in heaven that had been opened for “such a time as this�. They were waiting with great expectation as they watched earnestly at the activities below.

As we pressed into prayer and intercession at “Ground Zero�, the vision continued and I could see the Heart of the Father beginning to beat faster and with greater force. In the vision, I saw Angelic Hosts being discharged from the throne room of the Great Ancient of Days to enter into the war that raged both spiritually and naturally below.

The vision continued . . .

A FRESH ANOINTING OF UNITY RELEASED

Through the Global prayers of the Saints, a new fresh anointing of unity was being released into the spiritual atmosphere. The intercession that was being sent heavenward loosed and released a cap that had been placed over a well that was strategically positioned within the walls of the Pentagon (this well represented the Love of the Father and the provision needed for the next season we are entering into).

As this cap was removed (by the prayers of the Saints) the flow of unity, love, hope, peace and the Father’s provision began to pulsate throughout the facility of the Pentagon. As this unity, love, hope, peace and the Father’s provision flowed through the Pentagon it began to flow outward in all directions throughout our Nation.

As the vision continued, the Lord began to touch those who worked at the Pentagon, within our military and within our government. Many individuals that had been slumbering/asleep were being awakened to the call on their individual lives. I then heard the Angelic Hosts announce that, “ Life, liberty, freedom, wholeness, truth, love, peace, unity and salvation has come to the Pentagon�.

As this was proclaimed, the heaviness, depression, fatigue, despair, hopelessness and fear that had been weighing heavily upon these individuals was removed from their individual lives, both in the spiritual and natural atmospheres. (please know, that the weight, pressure and heaviness of the assignments of these men and woman who serve at the Pentagon, within our military and within our government is extremely intense. These are men and women who stand strategically, not only in the war on terrorism, but also in the War for Christ.)

The Vision continued . . .

HIS CHARACTER AND HIS NATURE IMPARTED TO THE PENTAGON

One by one, these individual’s spiritual gifts were activated, supercharged and released for “such a time as this�. The Lord released healing, His Spirit of Revelation, deliverance, wisdom, council, strategic strategies, miracles, provision and His Love. Many veils were removed and truth and trust was sent forth throughout the Pentagon, within our military and within our government. The Lord was imparting “His Character and His Nature� to the Pentagon, within our military and within our government.

In addition to that, the Lord revealed that He was equipping these Saints with divine revelation to rightly discern the times and seasons. He proceeded to reveal that He was anointing many prophetically, and that there would be some that He would give key, strategic information to that would help change the course of the war and the course of our Nation. He was anointing individuals that would help expose the Judas’s --- anointing individuals who would supernaturally reveal the plans of the enemy and anointing individuals who would help bring peace and healing to our Nation, to Israel and globally.

PENTAGON STAFF HIGHLY GIFTED IN THE ART OF SPIRITUAL WARFARE

The Lord proclaimed that in the way these Saints were gifted in the natural, they were also gifted in the spiritual. He then announced that those who worked at the Pentagon, within our military and within our government were highly gifted in the art of spiritual warfare, regardless of their job, title or position.

He continued to reveal to me that these were men and women who had been well trained and that they were dedicated, disciplined and loyal. They knew how to fight, but they also knew how to love and they had been prepared for “such a time as this�.

I then saw the Lord’s hand of favor, His hand of comfort and His hand of love extended over those at the Pentagon, within our military and within our government. These were some of His prayer directives:

THE LORD'S PRAYER DIRECTIVES REGARDING

PENTAGON, MILITARY AND GOVERNMENT WORKERS

------------------------------------------

1. Pray that the spirit of heaviness, fatigue, despair, hopelessness and fear would be removed from individuals and that the Lord would bring His hope, peace, love and His Great Grace to those who work at the Pentagon, within our military and within our government

2. Pray that everyone who is supposed to be assigned to the Pentagon, within our military and within our government would be positioned at the strategic location the Lord has prepared for them. Pray for relational favor with their superiors and supervisors. Pray that there would be God’s Unity in the Pentagon, within our military and within our government. Pray for divine appointments.

3. Pray for God’s early warning device to be activated and released – His Prophetic Voice. Pray that the Lord would reveal His Kingdom strategies and mysteries. Pray for wisdom, council and discernment to be increased to accurately discern the times and seasons we are in. Pray that the Lord would release the prophetic voice from within the Pentagon, our military and our government that would timely reveal future events, give strategic direction, and bring encouragement, hope and peace. Pray for favor with governmental officials, military leaders and others in receiving God’s Prophetic Voice.

4. Pray for Salvation

5. Pray for healing of all kinds and that signs and wonders would be released within the Pentagon, within our military and within our Government.

6. Pray for the media who report the press releases to the public. Pray that they would have an ear to hear what the Father is saying and report it in truth and life.

7. Pray for provision of all kinds. Pray for strength, boldness, courage and trust. Pray that their health is protected and also pray for protection for their families, their friends and their loved ones.

8. Above all, pray for new fresh intimacy and relationship with the Lord.
