COVER THE SHAME

When Ham saw Noah's nakedness, rather than turning and covering the shame, he told his brothers. When Noah found out, he cursed him with slavery.

Because the other sons respected their father, they came into his tent backwards, keeping their eyes averted and covering his nakedness. When Noah heard, he blessed them with prosperity.

Likewise, when you see the sins of others, cover their shame. To tell another, is like spreading a plague. One tells another and so on. When you spread someone else's shame, you yourself become the captive. The end result is always slavery.

When you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will cover his shame.

"And above all things have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins." (1 Peter 4:8 NKJV)
