"THE ARM OF THE LORD -- A PROPHETIC VISION"

Awakening from a sleep I saw a very clear vision of the strong arm of the Lord. I saw His arm from the elbow up to the hand and it was postured in an upward vertical position as if He was ready for an arm wrestle.

Interpretation:

The arm is symbolic of strength, might, and victory over enemies. I had a sense that the Lord was ready to challenge the power of the strength of the enemy's arm. He is waiting for His Body to stand in faith with Him and lock into a position of victory that is based on the Word of God and on the knowledge of Christ's eternal authority.

In the coming months we will begin to see power confrontations in which the Lord's strength will be revealed. These power confrontations will cause the fear of the Lord to be released. Peoples and nations will begin to tremble as they see the might of God.

THE LORD IS LOOKING FOR "THE FEAR OF THE LORD" IN HIS PEOPLE

Christians must prepare with a greater level of consecration in the coming days. The Lord is looking for a people who will walk in the fear of the Lord and in His holiness. Great reward will come to those who will consecrate their lives in new ways. "Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you".

THE "G-8"

The G-8 is a group of eight of the most powerful industrial nations in the world today.

They carry a great deal of political power and economic weight. This group forms a "global gate" (a place of influence and authority into the earth at large). This year, they will be meeting in Canada from June 26-28 to strategize for world globalization (one world monetary system, ethics, morals, etc).

It is vitally important to call for extreme, passionate, worship and exaltation of Christ at this time as well as for intercession. Jesus Christ is the King of Glory. Let us invite Jesus to prevail over this global gate and to release His influence of love, truth and wisdom upon the leaders who will be making decisions (Psalm 24).

Many of you might feel called to intercede for this event. Should you desire to engage in this on-site, we will have more information ready for you by next month. The Global initiative is being led by Global Focus out of Wales .

This global prayer team will be joined by a national level of Christian leadership and believers in Canada and hosted by the church leaders and believers in Calgary. Together, a united and corporate team will be formed, made up of leadership on global, national and city levels of authority. We welcome all intercessors to commit to praying for this strategic event either at home, in your churches, or on-site.

PRAYER DIRECTIVES -- FOR NOW-- FOR THE BODY

Note: Each month, we give 12 directives. For those who like to engage in one hour of prayer, this breaks the items down into 5 minute segments of intercession.

Thank you so much for your agreement in prayer. -- Pat Cocking

1. Pray for the manifestation of the fear of the Lord upon all believers and on corporate gatherings. (This is in preparation for the manifestation of the "Arm of the Lord").

2. Believe for the spirit of holiness and a hunger for holiness to be revealed to believers.

3. Pray for the Lord to raise up global prophetic/apostolic ambassadorial teams who will bring the word of the Lord to the kings of the earth.

4. Pray for the "Arm of the Lord" to be raised up against injustice in the earth. (i.e. abortion, child prostitution, drug trade, children at risk, terrorism etc)

PRAY FOR GOD'S ARM TO BRING DESTRUCTION TO THE ENEMY IN THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE

5. Believe for the "Arm of the Lord" to bring destruction of the "Golden Triangle" (a geographical area in Burma, Laos and Thailand where most of the world's heroin is exported from).

6. Call forth many intercessors to stand in the gap for the G-8 in June.

7. Pray for the global team and the leadership team in Canada and Calgary who are serving as those who will give covering to the intercession project. They will need to receive prayer for discernment, wisdom, unconditional love, unity, and grace.

8. Believe that the Lord will begin to put a hunger for Him within the hearts of global leaders.

GOD, PLEASE RAISE UP A "CYRUS" FOR US

9. Ask for the Lord to raise up His "Cyrus" for this hour. (Cyrus was a heathen king used for the purposes of God. The Lord called him, His anointed. Isaiah 45:1)

10. Believe for the "Arm of the Lord" to be made manifest to global leaders.

11. Believe for the Body of Christ to be prepared to move into the releasing of the power of the "Arm of the Lord". (i.e. humility, servanthood, complete dependency upon the Lord, laying down selfish agendas etc.)

12. Ask the Holy Spirit to release an increased revelation of the authority of Jesus Christ who is THE "Arm of the Lord".
