A wonderful event is unfolding before our eyes! The Spirit of the Lord is speaking to children on an extremely high level. It is amazing to observe the release of God's anointing upon children. The Holy Spirit of God is anointing the children of this generation with the ability to clearly hear the voice of the Father. We will do well to take time to listen---Many truly have something to share. Now is the time to encourage the children to radically seek the Lord. Remember the words of our Lord…."A CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM." Jesus Christ challenged us saying "unless we become as a little child we would not see nor enter the kingdom of God". (Matthew 18:1-4, also Luke 18:16-17.

Once, in a prophetic conference my friend Bob Jones was sitting next to me. He released a very powerful prophetic revelation to me that he had received. I was very appreciative of the word. In a few moments I was to go into another part of the conference complex to meet with several hundred children. I said, "Lord, what do you want me to do with these children?" and He said "You will pray for them and they will began to minister in the prophetic." After praying for the children I asked any of them that felt that they had a "word" for someone to come forward.

At that moment a little girl (she was around six or seven years old) came forward and took the mike, her precious little voice quivered in excitement and fear being before so many people. She began to give me the very same word that Bob Jones had just given to me a few minutes ago. I want you to know the words from the little girl had a much deeper impact and moved me in a very special way.

WE MUST CONTEND FOR THIS GENERATION

In the realm of the spirit there is a great conflict and confrontation for this young generation of promise. The foe is doing all he can to seduce this chosen prophetic generation. One of the tools Satan is using to deceive this young generation is Harry Potter.

Be very sure of this one thing; there is a fight for this generation. However no matter how hard the foe seeks to deceive these young champions the Spirit of God will have His way with these whom God has sealed for these days. We must do all we can to help prepare the way. This generation is attuned to the supernatural in an awesome way. Now is the time to walk in the fullness of the gifts of the Spirit of God. These children are hungry for spiritual power and they will not be denied. If the Church will not give them the true power, Satan stands ready to reap them with his deceptive counterfeits.

Throughout Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, the number 11 and the color green are prominent. The number 11 can portray the prophetic or it can symbolize the counterfeit prophetic. In a similar way, Harry’s newspaper is called, The Daily Prophet, which I believe portrays the counterfeit prophetic. In addition, the color green stands out in the first book. Green, which can symbolize life, resurrection or eternal life in a positive sense, can also refer to the flesh or being driven by the soul, a counterfeit to a godly, Spirit-led conscience.

TEACHING LAWLESSNESS TO OUR CHILDREN

Even more troubling, Harry Potter teaches children to be disrespectful, to lie, to break rules, and to disobey authority figures. These describe what happens when sin rules our lives. They are evidence of Satan’s fruit (Galatians 5:16-21), which is diametrically opposed to God’s fruit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, longsuffering, kindness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-25).

Therefore, we should not be surprised to discover the Harry Potter books have fueled a rapidly growing interest in witchcraft among children. In fact, the demand to know more about witchcraft is so great that the Pagan Federation has appointed a youth officer to handle the flood of inquiries and offer advice and information to youngsters. Although the Pagan Federation refuses to admit new members who are under the age of 18, nonetheless it reports that each month an average of 100 inquiries come from children who want to become witches.

Explaining the growing interest in witchcraft, the Pagan Federation claims the Christian Church has failed to provide “the right degree of spirituality for young people.� They also say that paganism involves “direct communication with the divine.�

SATAN’S MASTER PLAN: LURE A PROPHETIC GENERATION

These events point to the enhancing of Satan’s master plan—a plan to gather the most prophetic generation in history and lure them into embracing evil. Ten years from now, our children will welcome things that we would never accept today.

I am not just speaking about the Harry Potter books, which contain progressive deception. Instead, I am referring to the dark progression in our world of embracing a form of paganism and calling it “good.� As our culture is deceived by the darkness that appears as light, an unprecedented fueling of the occult is happening in our day.

As pastors and leaders-- it is crucial that we take time for the children and make them a top priority in our ministry. Christ Jesus set the pattern-- He would welcome the children into His meetings.

A LITTLE GIRL WITH A BIG MESSAGE

I was in New Zealand for a conference with a couple of thousand leaders. As I walked into the conference hall, a very young girl around five years of age came up to me and said in a sweet childlike voice "I can preach!" Trying to humor her I knelt down and patted her on the head and said "oh sweetie that is wonderful that you can preach", almost in a joking tone.

However I was stunned because she said back to me in a very firm and confident tone. "No! I can preach"! She said it with such boldness that I was almost knocked down. So I said to her. "Ok then, what is your message?"

She looked me straight in the eye and said my message is- "Pray!" Listen!" "Obey!"

I said to her, "You are preaching tonight."

That night the place was packed with church leaders from around the nation. I had been speaking for about fifteen minutes when I looked out in the crowd of people and saw the little girl sitting with her folks. I stopped speaking and said to her "Honey do you still want to preach?"

She said "yes!"

Coming forward I picked her up and holding her in my arms, high on the platform so that all in the conference hall could see her. I placed the mike before her lips and she said in a strong voice,

"My message is "Pray! Listen! Obey!"

When she said this, hundreds of people were knocked out of their seats on the floor, weeping and seeking the Lord.

This is the message that God is saying to the Church today.

Truly a child shall lead us.
