It seemed there was great silence as 2001 ended, then just after the first of the year, I began to get the following. I feel this is a prototype of what to expect in the year ahead. We will want to see with the natural eye, but we MUST "see" with our HEARTS.

Sight vs. vision

----------------

Sight comes from the natural eye; vision comes from the heart. 2002 will be a time of witnessing both by sight and vision. However, it is a time when we will need to be led MORE by VISION, which God places in our hearts, than by the sight of our natural eyes.

We, as Christians, MUST be those who walk by faith and not by sight. Sight without vision can be fatal. The word tells us that without vision we will perish. We MUST be those who, like Elijah, see a cloud the size of a man's hand in the midst of a drought and proclaim and declare the opening of the floodgates of God! When we see the workings of the enemy, we must declare and prepare for the victory of our God, who prepares a table before us, even in the presence of our enemies!

Zeros becoming Heroes This Year

-------------------------------

Many people who were hidden "zeros" will come forth as "heroes," visionaries and leaders in the Kingdom during 2002. Much like our firemen did during the crisis of 9/11 in 2001. The fire of the Lord is beginning to blaze in the hearts of His people, and no matter what circumstance or person tries to throw water (spiritual or natural) upon the fire of God, it will NOT be quenched!

After I first wrote this, I received an e-mail from NASA Science, and it stated that BIONIC VISION has been developed. I believe this is prophetic of what our Lord is doing for us - giving us "BIONIC" vision; powerful FAITH FILLED vision that will enable us to see the end from the beginning, and thus enable us to PRESS towards the mark!

Two...the Number of Witness

He made us to be His witnesses, so that we would witnesses of and for Him. Even in perilous times. This will be a year of great witness. And a year when we will need to keep our spiritual wits about us so that we walk by faith and not by sight.

After the Holy Spirit comes upon us, He endues with power (HIS power) from on high (not by our might or power by HIS) to BE His witnesses.

Two by two...in the Ark of His Presence

Jesus sent the disciples to go out to do ministry "two by two." I felt that the Lord would be "pairing" and "teaming" - whether two (or more) people or two (or more) ministries to witness God's goodness and in turn witness to the Lost. A year of mentoring others and bringing them forth.

Suddenlies bring forth the Suddenlies of God

I'm reminded of the fact that the Lord can turn an entire nation unto Himself in a day. We watched that happen to some degree on and after 9/11. The enemy's suddenlies will only result in our God's suddenlies.....

Acts 2:2 "And suddenly, there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting."

Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
