LET OUR CHILDREN GO! A Word through Ching Co , Cebu City, The Philippines email: ching@gsilink.com December 23, 2001 --------------------------- CHILDREN TRAPPED IN A MAZE --------------------------- I saw a vision of a giant maze designed like a garden that is often found in Europe. Inside that maze, there was a group of men and women which was impressed to me as our children running to and fro, lost and trying to look for a way out. There was a dazed look in the face of some. While others looked tired and wearing tattered clothes. ---------------------------- PARENTS WATCHING HELPLESSLY ---------------------------- Outside the maze, seated like on elevated bleachers I saw another group of people watching with anxious looks and anxiety on their faces. These are the parents who from a distance saw what was happening to their children. They are anxious for they felt that there was nothing they could do to help their children. ---------------------- GOD'S MANDATE TO MOSES ---------------------- After these visions, I heard spoken in my heart these words that God had instructed Moses to speak to Pharaoh. ". . . . Let my people go . . . ." (Exodus 5:1) ----------------- VISION EXPLAINED ----------------- There is now or is coming against us an attack which will target especially our children. Many parents will find themselves being faced with situations and circumstances involving their children, where we will see our children going through a season of struggle and difficulty symbolized by the maze. The maze can represent many things. It could refer to struggles with vices and addictions or wrong habits and attitudes, it could be matters of relational problems with spouses or parents or peers, it could be a quest about finding one's identity. It could even refer to finding their ministry place in the body. Like the parents seated from a distance on the bleachers--We will see it all but somehow may not be able to do anything to directly help them. Like Hannah leaving the child Samuel in God's house and Abraham offering Isaac at the altar. We too are called to offer them totally to God, to release them freely for whatever work or ministry God is calling them into and to trust the He is at work in each of their lives. ------------------------ OUR CALL FOR THIS SEASON ------------------------ There is a call for all Christian parents to stand together this day and to speak the same words that Moses spoke to the spiritual pharaoh who has held captive many of our children and trying to hold many more. As Christian parents, we have that authority and that mandate to declare to our enemy to " Let our children go" ----------------- TAKING OUR PLACE ----------------- "Heavenly Father, we thank You for the authority that was given to us by Jesus. Your words declare that whatever we bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever we release on earth will be released in heaven. "This day therefore, we the parents declare together and we say to the spiritual pharaoh who has held captive and is trying to hold captive our children-- to release them and to let them go! We expose all the lies that you are throwing to them and we speak truth and light to the situations that they are facing. We thwart all your future plans against them and even now we declare these plans and strategies to be null and void. "We thank You for the power of the blood of Jesus shed at Calvary. For His blood is sufficient to break any curses , vices, lies, and all other negative forces that have come and are coming against our children. "We declare Christ's victory to all of our children. We speak God's freedom upon them. We know that they will be victors in Christ for we know that You O Lord, will honor our prayers and grant us the desires of our hearts which is to see our children enter into the place and walk in the destiny which You have prepared for them. "We release each one of our children to Your care for as much as we love them, we know that You loved them more. "Thank You Father for the great and mighty works that will be birthed in our each of our children's lives. "All these we speak in Jesus Christ's authority and Name. Amen!" Blessings, Sis.
